“We were a little surprised to start the evening by ringing a doorbell to get in, but the warm welcome that followed put us at ease right away. The atmosphere is fantastically unique, quirky, and full of character. The bartenders were genuinely friendly and the service was quick.
We ordered the Mac ’n’ Cheese with Jerk Chicken, Yuca Bites, Chorizo con Arroz y Gandules and the Cinnamon Mini Donuts. Everything was perfectly seasoned (especially great if you enjoy a bit of heat like we do). The only downside was that the portions felt a bit on the smaller side.
It also looks like they host a lot of interesting events like book readings, sip-and-paints, comedy shows and more. We didn’t get a chance to attend one this time, but it definitely added to the charm and made us want to come back.“

“We enjoyed a perfect evening for my son's rehearsal dinner! Blackwall Barn and Lodge is a great place to hold any event! Danny and the staff were extremely attentive and friendly. The food was beyond amazing. I wouldn't hesitate recommending the restaurant/Lodge to anyone. Love the atmosphere.“

“Enjoyed salmon and the Caesar salad with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, New Zealand. My husband had the Chesapeake and a bowl of onion soup. We were served by Ethan who’s an awesome waiter. I can’t say enough. Love it.“

“Julian was hands down the best bartender and 2 Shaun‘s. Julian took the time to explain all the food and drink options. I was unsure of what I wanted he recommended and I ordered what he suggested The best onion soup that I’ve had in a long time Everything was excellent. Can’t wait to return.“

“Eggspectation is becoming a DMV staple for me. Multiple locations to conveniently find and you know you’re going to get quality food and service every time. It is the one place where I know I can take a friend family member or business colleague for breakfast brunch lunch dinner or happy hour! Not sure how they pulled it off but this is an exceptional restaurant.“
“We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Walrus as usual. Their shucking raw bar is the best. Seafood is always fresh and delicious. Their staff are friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Aaron was no exception. We went for Chesapeake Oyster week and half price on raw bar Tuesday so we enjoyed a great meal at a fantastic price. Highly recommend, going back real soon.“

“I’ve been looking for an opportunity to try Haitian cuisine because I’ve heard it was so good and i’m so glad Caribeyond did NOT disappoint.
the gentleman that took my order was super friendly and helped me navigate the menu as I had food allergies. I settled on the stewed goat (Kabrit) and it was so delicious. It came with fresh jasmine rice, plantain, pikliz, and a side salad. the portion was solid (total meal was about $32 with tax)

“Jack the bartender was friendly, efficient, interactive and kind. I had the B'More Crab Cake. It truly had plentiful large lump crab. My husband had the Poppy's Fried Chicken Classic. He said it was great. So big he couldn't finish it.“

“This is the newest and greatest spot to grace Laurel Md. The atmosphere is amazing!!! The decor is absolutely beautiful.. The waiters, waitresses and bartenders just true amazing…THE FOOD!!!!!!! On a scale of 1 to 10 and 10 the highest…… I give them a 10…. I love African food and everything was on time. Flavor and taste impeccable 😉 Going again this week….Vibes are truly amazing!!!!“

“Spurrier's Restaurant and Lounge has an incredible view and surroundings from both in and out. I just spent but a day there, and I had an incredible time. The surroundings were neat and there were ample parking lot. Staff were polite, professional, and helpful. They do sell snacks. A special occasion gave me the chance to visit and to explore what do they offer. You can book a reservation. Stairs and elevator are available but I prefer using my legs. You can't miss it. It's within the city, and businesses are all around. I didn't order any food from there, so I don't know how their food taste, but what I can say is that the occasion I was invited to, the food was great. The food is more traditional based on the event. But overall, the staff were excellent and they did their very best to get everyone situated and to feel at home. ?
Parking: Parking was free. There are ample parking lots. There are bins, recycle bins, stationed there for bottle glasses. For further questions, call the library. You can find their phone number at their website.?
Kid-friendliness: Yes, kids are always welcome with a parent or with a guardian.
Wheelchair accessibility: The sliding doors are automatic for wheelchair accessibility if using the library. However, the Trail is not ideal for wheelchair accessibility.“
