“My daughter and I have been cuddling through the area sushi restaurants to celebrate her birthday for nearly two decades now. Through the years, several of our favorites have closed and we've needed to search for a new place.

WE FOUND IT!

Everything was fantastic, from the (post-lunchtime) moment we walked in until we walked outside, replete and happy.

We ordered a selection of rolls and a large plate of sashimi, expecting small- to average-sized portions at reasonable prices. What we got were nearly futomaki-sized rolls at these same prices. The flavor combinations, both sweet and savory, both spicy and sublime, were even more impressive than the value.

Everyone we saw or spoke with was polite and smiling, and made us feel immediately welcome.

We'll be back next year, and likely a few times in-between!“

“Accommodated a party of 7 on a Thursday night easily. We ordered two boats which did not take long to prepare. The restaurant was busy during the evening which was also a good sign. Seems like a popular spot! They also gave us complimentary appetizers and dessert to share which was a nice bonus too. Service was attentive and efficient. All of the sushi was delicious and the price is quite reasonable as well. I would certainly come back again.“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Teriyaki & Sushi Japanese Grill in Laurel, MD, and it was a fantastic experience. The menu offers a diverse selection of fresh sushi rolls, flavorful teriyaki dishes, and hearty ramen bowls, all beautifully presented. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the flavors were well-balanced.

The service was prompt and friendly, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant has a clean, inviting atmosphere, perfect for both quick lunches and relaxed dinners. Ordering online through Uber Eats, Grubhub, or DoorDash is also convenient for takeout.

“The food is very consistent. It’s a great place for us to order lunch and have plenty of leftovers for a second meal. The hibachi chicken or steak are great and we have tried both the rice or noodles to accompany it with the vegetables. I recommend to get extra sauce whether it be teriyaki or yum yum so the second round isn’t dried out.“

“I absolutely love this place, I eat here in the regular my favorite fried dumplings and sushi, but I just think 1 ingredient is missing in the rice that makes it sticky because the Shushi falls apart and I have to eat it with a fork instead of chop sticks but IT'S DELICIOUS!!!!! “This place is great if you're looking for sushi and bento boxes at a decent price. I highly recommend the Rock and Roll sushi roll. They can be a little stingy with their yummy sauce, but most place a stingy with sauce these days. My wife and I come here frequently, this is the spot for us.“

I ordered the Triple Delight Roll, and it was incredible. It was beautifully presented, fresh, and packed with flavor. The avocado and spicy drizzle were perfectly balanced, and the textures were spot on. Service was fast and friendly. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, even in the middle of the busy terminal. “It’s a new place serving a new demographic, and for only being open about two months, they’re doing fairly well overall.

Most issues were operational. We were given a happy hour menu after the hours had passed, there was a small order mix-up that staff corrected quickly, and we waited a while for the bill. Arrival was also slightly confusing since the mall entrance was closed and we had to locate a rear entrance on our own.

Food-wise, the sashimi was average, the miso soup solid (4/5), and the snow crab roll was excellent and easily the highlight.

Overall, a good experience with some normal early growing pains. I enjoyed it, though it’s not somewhere I’d go out of my way to recommend just yet.“

“This is one of our reliable Go To choices for quick dinner. The food is good and fast. There is usually a table because most people take out. It's clean and everyone is friendly without being weird.

Honestly , if you think about the archetype of a takeaway hibachi place this is what you're thinking about.

“I’ve always passed by this place for YEARS and decided to try them out. I got the hibachi beef and hibachi shrimp and WOW is it good. The meat was tender and fried rice was cooked perfectly. The place is a vibe. I love how calm it is. I definitely would recommend. They also have a wide variety of sushi and some options for chinese food as well. Also great customer service. 10/10 recommended.“
