The menu at Stray Cat is a bit more sophisticated than the sandwiches and pizza next door - reliable comfort food. Pictures of cats adorn the walls. What's not to love here? Good craft beer list too, just like next door.“

“This Fried Chicken is unlike anything I have ever tasted. The boneless wings are SO PERFECT. They have a light and airy Ness to them and yet are ao wonderfully crispy. We always get the honey garlic boneless. They are truly amazing every time. I have never had anything like this, and will happily be coming here for years to come. Use scissors to cut up the chicken and get some rice and pickled radish to make it truly a taste perfection.“

“Stayed at a local hotel and ordered from Door Dash. SECRET SPICY CHICKEN was great. Pretty much like General Tso's Chinese but a tad spicier. Large pieces of good quality chicken, even the medium order was too much for me. Pair it with steamed white rice, put the rice in the sauce. Very good.“

What we didn’t know is that we would meet Paul, who took care of us and “tour us around” their menu and options. The food was delicious and healthy as well! Artichokes, hummus, cauliflower and the chicken were amazing! My brother is vegetarian so they prepared a pad thai for him and he really enjoyed it. After dinner, was time to look everybody dancing on the floor… With the perfect atmosphere! I wish I could post some pictures!! “Excellent, efficient and clean establishment. Food was ready when I walked in to pick it up at 10-15 min after I placed the order. The Tejas BBQ brisket taste was fantastic. The SriPraPhai drunken noodles with tofu was so-so. Its taste profile was more like Pad Thai than drunken noodles I have had from prior restaurants, so would not get this again. The taste wasn't bad, but not what I expected. Overall, I would still return and try this food concept chain again (similar to a food court in a mall with many restaurant options but with a small pick up window and assembly room in the back).“

“I’ve been seeing this new place develop but hadn’t had a chance to go in until today. While waiting for my prescription at CVS up the block, I tried their soup of the day. The front of the house has a few tables and a counter, giving the impression of a typical take-out joint. But they have the next store front too, with comfortable high and low tables. Since I was eating in, I was served on nice china, glassware, and real utensils. The Broccoli cheddar soup was excellent. It’s very clean and bright and the restroom is too. This is a much needed addition to the 12th St business district. I wish them much success. I’ll go for the full menu for sure. Hope you do too!“

“Hands down the best Jamaican food in the area. I always get the jerk chicken with white rice and Mac and cheese. My husband gets curry shrimp but tonight he had steam fish. The first steam fish I've had that wasn't dry. We always get some patties and their house juice.

I also like to add it's the FIRST Jamaican restaurant we've been in where owners and employees and nice. My husband is Jamaican so I've been to a good number. I appreciate you guys!!“

“No wait to be seated, food had good taste but had to wait awhile for food. Music was nice, there were some families and couples. The salsa tasted homemade and fresh. The only minus is the wait for food and the tortillas were very thin. I ordered gorditas and my partner ordered the steak and it was good

“I hosted a friend’s birthday party at ShipGarten and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, the staff was absolutely amazing. They made the entire planning process easy and stress-free, with clear, quick, and efficient communication every step of the way. They were incredibly accommodating. The food was great, my favorites were the funnel cake fries and the guacamole. The Cider was delicious!!! The venue itself is fantastic for hosting events, and I highly recommend ShipGarten for birthdays, gatherings, or any special occasion. One of the things I love most is that they also host dog-friendly events, which makes the place even more special! I had an amazing time and will absolutely be using ShipGarten for future events!!!“

“Decent enough food and average coffee, but would recommend walking a block or two somewhere else considering the abnormally high prices they are charging.

EDIT: I have come around over time. Compared to other places, the coffee is decent for the price. I like the empanadas as an affordable food option. I also find the espresso to be particularly enjoyable.“
