“This is an adorable wine bar- everyone is very nice and professional and they absolutely know their wine styles - it just feels like it caters a bit too much to older folks but could really attract more millennials with some improvements. With Rockville/Kensington becoming younger and younger there is a lot of potential to bring in more business if they remodeled a bit and boosted the atmosphere (better music, more talkative staff, maybe some wine-special events like a “Pinot noir night” or themed around highlighting specific regions…or trivia is always safe). “We took the family out to dinner tonight, and tried N&S on a whim. We were very pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff, quick service, and quality food. Everything was hot and tasty, fries crispy and well-seasoned. Portions and price for value are both really good. We will definitely return!“

“The best experience! From the moment we walked in Carlos was very attentive, it was my families first time there and they were unsure about the safe flavors. He came to us with all the sauce flavors to try. He took his time to explain everything. He checked up on us to see how we were doing. He also came and recommended dessert which was sooooo good. “I came here during my lunch break on a weekday. All the pizza options were available and I got the buffalo chicken slice. I don't make that much $, but the pricing was totally worth it. ($6 I believe) The pictures don't do it justice, but if you like NY style thin crust with that grease drip, you'll love this. The crust had that dough bubble that I love, and you could hear the crunch echo throughout the cafeteria. I would love to see some gluten-light offerings in the future but for now? A quick bite for good quality? You won't be disappointed.“

“I had visited a Chopt once before, but my recent visit truly stood out. This particular location is one of the cleanest and friendliest I have encountered.

I received a warm welcome from the staff, and I was impressed by the expanded menu offerings, especially the addition of steak and salmon. Carlos, one of the managers, recommended the Southwestern Steak Salad with avocado and a blend of chipotle ranch and Mexican Goddess dressing. It was absolutely delicious!

Despite it being a busy lunch and seemingly fewer employees working, Carlos took the time to provide recommendations, and his suggestion was perfect. I will definitely be returning.

“We visited DC this weekend from NC. I went to DC Vegan with my non-vegan husband. Two days later he's still raving about the chick'n cutlet club. “I've been a happy customer at the Courthouse location for 5 years. The staff are super nice and caring! The food is always delicious and prepared beautifully..recommend the falafel bowl, tofu salad, Greek yogurt items, smoothies, avocado toast, soup, and cookies. Very fresh ingredients.

Dietary restrictions: There are many healthy vegetarian options..none of the super processed mock meats are offered. Some of the side items are a huge portion too. Salads that have meat or dairy could be modified easily with vegetarian or vegan options. Vegan soup option is fantastic.“

The rye bread was toasted perfectly, the sauerkraut was tangy, the smoked tempeh was a delicious stand in for corned beef, and put together with the dressing and the cheese it was melt in your mouth delicious. “We stopped in for lunch after my Daughter's Gymnastics Competition this morning! The staff were Awesome! She was still in her gear and medals from the Competition and everyone was saying congratulations to her! This absolutely made my 9 year olds day even more special, when they brought her a tray with desert and congratulations on your great day written on the paper! The atmosphere is perfectly moody and the music is good and played there perfect level so that it can be enjoyed but it is still easy to hear conversation with your party. The GM, John, was so kind and attentive. He went out of his way to make sure our large party was fully taken care of. There isn't a kids menu (which we understood and were totally fine with), but he thoughtfully suggested a few options the kitchen could prepare for the kids, which we really appreciated. The AGM or Maitre D, I didn't catch his name, was also fantastic. He was right there alongside the GM and waitstaff on a very busy Friday night, making sure everything ran smoothly. At one point there was a slight wait between courses, and the staff came around with homemade cookies for guests to sample, which was a thoughtful touch.
