“First time at Keith and Sons and my eyes were pleasantly pleased. The food looked neat, delicious and plentiful. I ordered a rib dinner with greens and potato salad. My husband ordered jerk chicken, rice and string beans. It was enough food on each plate to feed 2. We sat in the restaurant and ate and the food was scrumptious. The seating is minimal, but most people preferred their food and left. I highly recommend this restaurant!“

“We love Washington DC so my wife and I wanted some pizza. We were staying at the Embassy suites in NW so I googled pizza that was close by. Pizzoli‘s pizzeria came up. It looked good so we took an Uber there and the pizza was excellent. We ordered a simple pepperoni pizza and my wife and I both thoroughly enjoyed it. Made from scratch good. We were a little bit surprised in that it was a smaller establishment as we thought we were going to a place that had lots of tables, etc. This place has one inside table and five or six countertops to eat at and then they have several tables outside but as noted, the food was fantastic. “Oh my goodness, these wings were soo good. I had a tear in my eye after eating them on the way back down the road because they were gone. On a serious note tho I give props where there due and this was an amazing experience, the staff was very professional and helpful even when someone came in trying to give them a hard time they handled it very well. The food was great, I love wings and a good wing spot I'll take the drive to. The cold pressed juices all were unique but i have my favorite now. “Most nights I stumble in here drunk. Sometimes I make the sober trek from VA. Either way, the pizza is always so fresh. Got the supreme last night and the toppings tasted like they just picked and chopped the vegetables. My cheesesteak was excellent. A solid jumbo slice with an extensive menu is a rare gem these days. Sometimes the food takes a little long, probably because they’re making it fresh. Skip the other places and come here.“

I was immediately greeted when I walked in. Even with me not realizing I had got there before closing they treated me like the first customer of the day.

I didn't take any photos because they really do care about the quality and presentation of their food. Just look at the other photos taken by others it's always delivered like that I'de imagine from my experience.

Lastly the food was so good I mean... the best I have had in a long time. I barely left anything on my plate.

Bonus round: I requested mac and cheese and they would not serve it to me because it did not come out the way they wanted it to. ( Also it was near closing time so they were out of a few sides) That meant a lot to me. Blessing to this amazing spot and I hope others enjoy what I got to experience and taste.“

“I can not believe this place. So first it has an indoor and outdoor place to order. The customer service was amazing. I was greeted and helped as soon as I walked in because they're were several people taking orders. Not only that but the Crabs were done already. I've never seen that before. It was like all she had to do was put them in a bag. They were still warm 15 minutes later when I was able to eat them. They were so so good too. I paid $20 for 1 dozen and I swear there were like 16 in the bag. This was super convenient as I was delivering a truck to Giant and could eat on My Lunch break.“

The Philly chicken steak or Philly steak with honey bbq wings and fries. They know it’s me when I call. My food is always fresh and the food is always good. “What a welcoming little Ethiopian coffee shop! Once a market, Dire Coffee opened in 2020. Family-owned, Dire Coffee serves Ethiopian coffee beans in all different ways- black coffee, lattes, and more. I ordered the Pumpkin Spice Latte. It came out hot and strong. The woman behind the register, who's the wife of the owner, asked how sweet I wanted my latte. She was very kind!

To eat, they have a variety of food. I ordered one sambusa and it was filled with lentils. It hit the spot!

The seating is kinda weird, but it is comfortable enough to sit at to wait for your food.

Fast service, if you wait in the store it at least takes 15-25 minutes to finish food.

Very big portions of food, this place gives a nice amount of steaming fresh food and fills up the tray.

Although, the bigger the meal, you might have a problem. There has been a problem as to where sometimes I might receive some food, let’s say like, a big portion of food.
I saw one time that a worker in the background was struggling to close the tray.

workers need bigger trays for bigger portions of food. Or at least sturdy trays so they won’t struggle to close them sometimes.

it’s not exactly a problem because nothing spills out of the tray. It’s just a tiny opening and it’s not like they hand you the tray wide open. But not everyone feels the same way about their tray not closed all the way.

“I was at the spot last night, and honestly, I wasn’t going to say anything because I know how hard it is to run a business. I’m not the type to leave bad reviews, but this experience was hard to ignore.
There was a short, dark-skinned guy behind the counter. He was on his phone the whole time while taking my order, barely said anything, and when my food was ready, he just handed me the bag without a word, no “thank you” no “do you need any sauces” nothing. Then he walked off to a spot near the pizza prep table, away from where my food had been made, still on the phone, just chatting like nothing happened. I’ve never experienced that kind of service in any restaurant.
What really bothered me is my wife had the same experience a while back—same guy, same rude energy. I didn’t think much of it then, but seeing it firsthand changed that.
I’m an African American man, and I actually enjoy supporting places like this.
Me and my family buy from here often and we like the food, but service like that? It pushes people away. I’m saying this with respect, not hate. I hope it helps things improve.“
