“Just did the cupcake monster decorating class at the Waldorf location and they were so sweet. My daughter asked for mermaid decorations and Chef Tai put some chocolate into a mold and into the freezer on the fly. She also did bats and ghosts on request, it was so, so sweet. Kids (4 and 3) loved it, and super tasty, too! Will definitely be back!“

“The Bakers Lounge delivered masterfully for my wife's birthday! She loves cake and only eats it on special occasions, and I was anxious to try a new bakery for our visit to DC this past weekend. They decorated the raspberry truffle cake in a vintage style per my request - totally nailed it - and delivered it to our hotel for when we arrived. The cake was scrumptious and beautiful! I highly recommend them for any cake occasion.“

“Ordered a three-tiered chocolate cake for my parents’ 30th anniversary party for 100 people - it was worth every penny! It was just the right level of rich, sweet, and smooth. “There are 2 locations and the original has sweet people working, even on hectic days they keep a good attitude.
I love getting their sweet breads, tamales pan frances and of course cakes for special occasions.
Today is my son's birthday so we went for the chocolate flavored cake that has fruit on top and since it had cherries his favorite that's the one for today.
My family have been enjoying their treats for over 15 years and as long as their still around that's our number one choice.
2nd location is nearer to my house and I finally tried their food. I will say those pupusas were the best I've had since the motherland.
Macaroni salad and carne guisado is heavenly. Now those are my taste buds but I do recommend you go.

I appreciate the customer care and the help from the store leadership. I can only hope my feedback offered a teachable moment for the young people who you employ. ZERO stars if this was an option! I ordered using the Cold Stone app. They used GrubHub to deliver. It took an hour from order to delivery. Upon delivery one of the scoops was half melted and the one pictured arrived EXACTLY how you see it. No, we did not dive in and eat any first. It was completely melted and only half filled. It was supposed to be a kids scoop but instead we received a full chunk of brownie with no attempt of mixing in and a faint white liquid in the bottom I am assuming they were passing off as the ice cream. I hate this location. It looks like they did not place it in the cooler while waiting for the driver to pick up. Every time I say I will NEVER return I always go back and almost immediately regret it. To add injury to insult concerning this experience, I called the store and was passed on to another employee without warning after explaining in great detail. 2nd person said she was the manager, she appeared to be unknowledgeable on how to handle the situation and unwilling to offer a customer recovery resolution. She offered to look into it and call me back. When she did get back with me, she stated I would get a refund for the one that was completely melted. No apology that it arrived that way or not any remorse for one person having to go without ice cream while the other was able to indulge. I have no idea how this place manages to stay in business because they have the worst employees ever. Right across the street Rita's has staff in the same demographic and they offer excellent guest service.“

“So impressed with her cakes! It's so nice to have real cake instead of box cake or grocery-store garbage. Beautiful on the outside and inside a perfect, natural, buttery cake that tastes like it's from Paris. This is my go-to bakery from now on!“

“When I went, the gal that helped us was newer. She honestly seemed annoyed that there were even customers in the store. That being said though, I’ve been to this specific cold stone at least once a week for the last year. I personally always get the triple pint. For the first time ever being there, this employee served the perfect portion size for my order and my friend’s order. As much as I love having that little bit extra that I some times get in a cup, I know as a former manager at a restaurant, that the extra comes at a huge cost of the business sometimes. I’m sure she’s already gotten several complaints about “not serving a full amount” and that’s probably why she seems so tired of people. Sounds weird to say, but I was actually happy with her serving a non-messy, non-wasteful portion. :) I do love my normal people too, but I just wanted to add that bit.“
