“I must say I was thoroughly impressed. The ambiance was cozy, and the food was fantastic. The Korean BBQ they served was some of the best I have tasted. The highlight of the meal, however, was the Hawaiian bulgogi and Spicy pork belly. The meat was tender and juicy, and the flavors were exquisite. The staff were helpful, and the service was excellent. I also enjoyed the selection of Korean beer and soju.I think the best part about the ambiance is that they aren’t so loud with their music and videos that you can’t hold a conversation, like some other KBBQ places in the region.I would definitely recommend Kogi Underground to anyone looking for Korean BBQ in a charming environment. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous, giving you value for your money. I will surely be coming back to enjoy more of their food.Thank you for a great dining experience.Dietary restrictions: Several of us have dietary allergies, and they go out of their way to find options to feed us.Wheelchair accessibility: Right at the corner of the building so they have two ways to get to the doors. Very wide aisles and tables with chairs that can be moved.“
“Fabulous. Went here based on others reviews and boy oh boy I certainly was not disappointed. Probably one of the best Korean restaurants I have been to-- great ambience along with top notch service and spectacular food! Looking forward to returning to try out other dishes!“
“In Maryland, this place is as good as it gets for Korean Chinese food. You can’t compare it to best Korean Chinese food restaurants in Korea because it’s just not a fair comparison but what they do well here, they know how to do like the spicy noodle (짬뽕) and fried chicken (깐풍기). Their jjampong soup is delicious, with the right amount of spice and seafood flavor in it to give you that kick but also a taste of the ocean. Their fried chicken is most unique kkanpoongi I have ever had as it’s in like a lollipop shape like they advertise and the crispy, crunch, juiciness of the chicken is phenomenal. I would venture to say that’s their best and signature dish. The black bean noodle (짜장면) is average as the sauce is not rich enough. The noodles are handmade which is a nice touch as well and you can see the noodle chef working behind the tinted glass. Overall ambience has really improved after they remodeled and servers are friendly and attentive. It’s just a proper well run neighborhood restaurant and nobody comes close to this in Maryland.“
“The food is tasty. I got the short ribs meal in a bingo box and enjoyed every bite. It would be the perfect place to try if you’re unfamiliar with Korean foods. The robot server was fun. My only issue was that the restaurant was so brightly lit. Wish they could dim the lights a little, especially for dinner. The restaurant is not fancy, but it is clean and seems like it would be a good place to dine if you have young kids learning to eat out. All in all I’d say this is a safe bet for a nice meal at a reasonable price.“
“This place is a hidden gem just waiting to excite the taste buds of anyone who walks through the store. The staff was friendly and greet you with you a huge smile, the food was exceptionally fresh, the portions were more than generous, and the service was swift. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area or worth a road trip just to experience these divine flavors!“
“Best Philly cheesesteak sub!!! Seasoned very well. I wish they had toasted the bread so it wouldn’t be soggy but it tasted great. Also got the burger supreme, and that was very good as well. French fries were good. Their soy garlic wings are also good. I just wish that it came with blue cheese instead of having to pay a dollar. I’m already paying $16 for 10 wings!! But AnyWho, the food was good. 10/10“
“This place is so cozy and delicious. We really enjoyed dinner here and ordered a variety of sushi. Everything tasted really fresh and the service was fast and welcoming! I highly recommend this place to anyone that wants a great vibe and a sushi dinner date.“
“My first Korrito!!!! I had a beef Korrito from Seoulspice and was pretty satisfied. I wish it was as thick as the image on the website and I wish maybe it could be made with a less thick piece of seaweed, but I did love all the flavors. If you were to get a Korrito, I’d say just add all the toppings you want. I won’t make any recommendations because I think it can be good any way. I also had the Kale Apple Juice, which was very interesting but the weird combo was not for me. This review might sound a little pessimistic, but Seoulspice was really good. I’ll definitely be eating here again and maybe trying one of the bowls. The rating will only go up from here, but for now I give Seoulspice 4 stars!“
“Fantastic dining experience! The freshness and quality of the meat were outstanding, definitely not your average cheap cuts. The flavor was superb, enhanced by their unique sauces and seasonings. The pineapple steak is my favorite. The attention to detail was evident as they even took Polaroid photos for us to cherish the moment. Can’t believe they have a full bar here! Because most of Korea BBQ place only have half bar. Definitely a good place to hangout with friends or family.“
“I live near Catonsville where there is a large Korean influence shopping area. I have tried many of the Korean dishes but I drive over 40 miles to Anne Arundel county to get the best. And I make the drive frequently. Every effort is made by the staff to know everyone personally. Good service, great food...authentic.The BEST Kimchi!“
“Food is always good. You have to be very specific if you order for picky kids. Otherwise, there's never an issue with the food. Best Korean food in the area. Always tastes like I'm eating food in Korea. Definitely recommend this place!“
“I cannot emphasize enough how delicious the food is here. It is simply amazing! My favorite item to get is the beef bulgogi bibimbap. All the flavors are so fresh and everything is out of this world. I can't wait to come back and try everything else they have to offer. The owner is also so nice and courteous and I love how friendly they are. Highly recommend the food here! The chicken and beef here are also halal.Dietary restrictions: Food is halal“
“Me and my family have meal here at least once a month - as the comfort food for myself, Myound Dong has the best seafood pancake ever, even better the most Korean store I had in Virginia. And the trotters are innovative and I love it, highly recommended to someone wants try something new!Mocha is the Brown poodle and "waitress" here. The sweetest and politest dog I met so far - today one customer was very rude to Kai, the owner, and Mocha. He might have a bad day but I would say Mocha is the joy to all customers while dining here.“
“Our son goes to UMBC & took him out to lunch last Saturday & we picked this Bonchon location. Was afraid the chicken would be meh but it was actually very good. We got an order or 8 mixed - half soy & half spicy. Got another 8 of spicy & some bulgogi fried rice. The wings were fried perfectly. I thought the spicy would be mild given this is a chain restaurant catering to 'Muricans but it was very spicy. Great flavor, but the spiciness builds. We really enjoyed both. Will try the other sauces next time. The fried rice was superb. Definitely recommend this place & we'll eat here again in the future when we take our son out for lunch.“
“Hidden gem in Greenbelt! Food has the potential to be a 10/10 but some are under seasoned and lacking flavor. That’s not to say it’s bad at all! In combo with the sauces and sides they offer we had a really yummy meal. Spicy bulgogi and the thing cut pork belly(ask for the spicy sauce to cook it with) were so good! Rice cakes (pictured below) were crazy good!“
“Let me start with Ms. Lee, she is a very nice lady and hostess, very personable and welcoming. The wings are yet another example of the versatility of the humble bird that has found a place in kitchens around the world.I'm glad I made the trip! The only downside is that I wish that more Korean sides were on the menu.“
“The food was great! Our server was very helpful in which items to pick, the different broths! It is a neat concept and lots of fun to go with the family! It definitely is a place where you can go with a group of friends or family! It can even be a cute date night!“
