Yes, if you compare this place with most cheap Chinese all you can ear places, $33 does seem expensive. However, fresh and high-quality food cost me. I am willing to pay extra for good, fresh food. As another example, I was shocked to see a review giving them only 3 stars commenting she got sick (even though she said she loved the food there). I was wondering if she did not cook her food well in the hot pot, or she couldn't handle the spices.“

The portion sizes were great, the food well cooked, and the prices? Very reasonable. All of that with a coffee was under $30, and worth every penny. It was a generic wine broth with most of the tiny mussels in the bottom of the pot, out of the shells. The kilo of PopEye mussels was overwhelming with cheese and very little spinach. Disappointed!! But, We all loved the garlic frites, which were crisp and tasty. The profiteroles were were served with giant scoops of vanilla ice cream. The service was attentive and efficient. The service is also quick and friendly, whichs makes everything even better. We started with some steamed dumplings and followed with intestine over rice and fried egg, Sichuan beef noodles soup, and flounder with sour pickled cabbage noodle soup. Everything was absolutely delicious. To finish, we tried the black rice coconut milk dessert. The salad we got at the beginning was the best I've had in a Japanese restaurant. The miso soup had a really wonderful string flavor. The gyudon is the best I've had in the area. Usually at other places it'll just be the meat over white rice whereas here the rice had flavor to it which made the whole dish all the more better. The ramen broth was also subtle yet flavorful and the ramen noodles were top notch. Overall I'd 100% visit again“

I tried and enjoyed - the curry fish cakes (crispy, well spiced, a little spicy), great wrapped in lettuce with the sweet dipping sauce - drunken noodles with pork which has perfectly chewy noodles with a lot of flavor, a ton of perfectly cooked and tasty veggies - pad see ewe with beef and gai lan (so glad it wasn't broccoli) I did find I had to drink a lot of water after likely due to a ton of sodium. If you want spice ask for the condiments and try the dry chili. It's delicious and packs a real punch. Our friends enjoyed the crispy fried tofu appetizer and pad Thai with tofu“

And all day breakfast sealed the deal. My wife had the French toast, I had a milkshake and corned beef hash with eggs, toast and potatoes.
