“700 South was started many years ago when there were hardly any eateries or healthy choices for the many workers in the Linthicum/BWI area. The food has always been fresh and a good quality for the price. 700 South has continually maintained these attributes even today. Further, the employees, owners, and now their grown off-spring turned this into a very caring, quality business that strive for excellent service! This business thrives because of all these attributes from excellent food, great service, and fine detailed attention paid to each order! 700 South even has accolades for their food and has won cookoffs with their multiple prize-winning crab soup! Think what grandmom or mom cooked when you were little. So, if you haven't patroned this deli yet or placed a catering order, do yourself a favor and stop in and try their food. You won't regret it! Thank you 700 South for providing these healthy, quality options for workers for many, many years and for the excellent standards set that make customer order interactions and fulfillment a pleasure!Melenie - A Long time original customer who orders delivery for the job and take-out personally, quite often!!!!!!!!!!!Vegetarian options: They have a veggie sandwich and salad selections. They are always willing to try and accomodate, remove, and/or add items to selected menu listings as pre-specified.Dietary restrictions: One only has to ask about dietary restrictions and reach out to 700 South. For the most part they accommodate and offer alternative suggestions any time they have been contacted. Those receiving special dietary restricted meals have always been pleased with the provisions and I do run into this often with catering orders for work.Parking: Parking at prime lunch time can be slim, but one just has to circle around and maybe walk a tad further. It is a small place and the access road has reasonable off the main drag parking.“

I'm glad I finally did.The cafe is lovely and vibrant inside and out.l and the owner was quiet but friendly.I ordered a little bit of everything--lamb stew, beef stuffed dumplings, air fried fries, apple/mango juice and milk, and veggie stuffed bread. It was quite tasty especially after you add salt and pepper. (I suspect that things are deliberately made mild to avoid scaring people away but that's just a hunch. )I definitely recommend making a stop for the ambiance and people watching alone--the food is the cherry on top. Be mindful that the air fried fries take about 15 minutes. That just gives you more time to chat.“

“We ordered carryout and bought the shrimp with crab meat and grits. It was seasoned extremely well and hands down some of the best grits ever. The honey French toast was extremely good. The scrambled eggs were bland andThe bacon was OK. The seafood salad was also seasoned well.I am taking one star off because the portion sizes were SMALL. For $26.99 we expected a larger amount for the grits. Instead we received a sm-iny bowl of grits that was more like an appetizer. We could have gotten two large size bowls from elsewhere for that price as we've done before. The shrimp salad portion was small too. Even the amount of chips included were like 1/2 cup. The French toast was average size, and not big and fluffy like some other places. Would we spend $70+ here again for the portions we received? I doubt it.“

She was familiar with the two customers in front of me. It definitely had a neighborhood friendly vibe. The shop was busy. Most of the tables on the first floor were taken up when I was there. Be sure to take a stroll up the stairs. At the top of the stairs was an adorable little spot for two people to sit and chat. The second floor has a great little area to sit and ready or study. “We love this place, we started coming since they opened, we used to go to café EZ 1 in Ellicott City, but we like this one better as has more space and more tables. All servers, and personnel are polite, always with good vibe. Food is great, they have a lot of options available. We like to come for Breakfast, Brunch or Lunch. But this place has all day Breakfast options. So, if you are like me, you can enjoy a great selection of pancakes at noon ?.The only thing we don't like much are the prices, but everything is expensive nowadays, right? So, I don't blame this place for rising their prices as food is 98% of the times delicious. Coffee is also great, kind of the same price as Starbucks :( but is good coffee. They have also smoothies which are also delicious and other "adult" drinks for a happy hour... Burgers, salads, wraps, all I've tried here has been if not delicious, great or good. We have never experienced any bad time.Just the heads-up, this place can be crowded, so expect some waiting time at lunch or around 9-10 for breakfast during weekends. ?Vegetarian options: Crepes, salads, etc. Vegan options as well.Parking: Plenty of parking“

“Major props for treating gluten free bread as the half-sized slices they are. This is the first place I've been to that spreads the sandwich contents across two small sandwiches. Every other place either attempts to stuff the insides onto puny slices (rarely) or more likely, simply gives you less. In those places, not only are you paying through the nose for GF bread, but you then get less food for the privilege. NOT SO at Atwater's. On top of delicious creations, you also get generous servings and can enjoy your meal like anyone else. Coincidentally had two meals in 3 days here and will be back!Dietary restrictions: GF“

“The view is phenomenal -- even on an overcast rainy day. But don't just go for the view -- I was happily surprised at how good the food was: branzino, short rib, mushroom soup -- all outstanding. We also had the lobster pasta -- the pasta was perfect, the bits of lobster were a little overcooked for my taste. And we had the bread basket, which I thought was pricey ($14 for bread), but it was delicious and plenty to share for 3 (or 4) people.“

“It is the first time I bought crabs from B & B. It has a high rating and I thought, why not try this place? I usually buy crabs from Crab Shack II in Gwynn Oak.Well, I have to say, the taste of the crab meat, exceeds my expectation. The crab meat has a tinge of spice in it. It is not hot, just perfect, to taste some spice in the meat. The comments I heard at the table, "crabs are meaty", "it taste so good".I placed the order for 4 dozen crab (2 dozen males and 2 dozen combo, small and medium) the night before . It rain all day the next day. B & B called me to confirm the order. I changed the time for pick up, added 15 minutes to the time. I picked up the crabs and it is steaming hot. Perfect! They definitely accommodate customers--even on flood watch. Why didn't I give them a 5* for service? They only sell by the dozen. So, if you are looking to buy crabs at half bushel or full bushel, look elsewhere. It has a decent size parking lot where you can park and wait for your order. I did like the fact that I was the only customer waiting for crabs. I came early because of weather. Though I can imagine what parking, looks like, in great weather.“

“I am highly impressed with the level of service and food quality at this Caffe. The place has a divvy feel to it. I loved the quirky decor and the humous conversation between the cook and the man in front. They were so friendly and in sync, I could not tell if they were co-owners. I kept it simple: classic breakfast and a more "trendy" beverage. Nailed both. At any other place, I would've paid $6 for the spiced chai tea close to $20 for the breakfast. Here. Less than $20 for both. For me, the best part of the service was hearing what I wanted and serving it right, 10/10 recommend“

“While I don't have breakfast frequently, being in a hotel without one included, I decided to look around for a good place for breakfast. Could have easily gone to a big chain, but I wanted to support some local. I happened to find this little diner on US 1. After getting turned around a couple times, I found this diner. The atmosphere is about what you expect for a small diner; nothing fancy but it works. Other than a couple of the stools needing their cushions replaced, nothing to complain about.Could have had scrapple again, but I went with something a little safer. I had the French toast with bacon and added two over-easy eggs to that. The French toast was nice and fluffy and the right amount of cinnamon and powdered sugar. The bacon was nice and crispy and not burned and the eggs had the delightfully runny yolk for a fried over-easy egg.The staff at the diner was very cheerful and friendly and were happy to be there. They do lunch, too, so if you're a little late for breakfast, they do sandwiches, too.If you're looking for a place that isn't fancy and does the basics just right, definitely give Elkridge Deli Cafe a visit.“
