“I had some of your gluten free cupcakes at an event last weekend, and they were the best I've ever tasted. Several of the guests ate them "by mistake" and were questioning if they were really gluten free. The host sent me home with some, too. My husband tried one and also questioned if they were really gluten free. Soooo yummy! I had a snickerdoodle one, chocolate with white frosting, yellow with chocolate frosting and who knows what else. Divine, I tell you!“

“They have a small parking lot but we ended up ubering this evening. We didn't have a reservation (Friday evening 7:30 pm) and we were able to get a seat right by the door. They were definitely very busy but our server was still attentive and friendly. My friend ordered a flight of wine and I ordered a glass of the Poggio Le Volpe, 'Roma Rosso'. The wine, as always was delicious. My friend ordered the IBWC Fall Burger and I ordered the Grilled Bistro Steak Frites. The Steak was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. We had also ordered side Caesar salads. It was restaurant week and neither of us opted into the the 3 courses for a price option but our server did kindly inform us that she grouped it that way to help us save and include the dessert. We ended up getting the Nutella dessert (I don't recall what it was called). While the presentation wasn't great, it was very good and I would recommend it.

“We gave Asian Palace a try for lunch and had a great experience. The Pick 3 Sushi Lunch Special is not only a great deal but also delicious! I get the Alaskan roll, Spicy Yellowtail, and Veggie Tempura roll with a house salad. All three rolls are so good and the salad dressing is amazing. We have also tried Chicken Satay (the best I have ever had), the Godzilla roll, Spicy Fancy roll and the egg drop soup. All were fantastic. We will be definitely be making this a regular spot!“

“Tried Upper Crust for the first time today. It’s now my new go to pizza place. We’ve lived in Elkridge on the east end of HoCo for 25 years and our local joints have just fallen off lately so i went in search of a new place to get good pizza. I love good pizza. This place has great crust, it’s crispy and chewy just like it’s supposed to be. The ratio of sauce and cheese and toppings was just right too. If you’re looking for good pizza in central or eastern HoCo this is the place. It’s right near Howard High. Thank you Upper Crust for being there for me and having great pizza.“

The food is delicious and not pricey, the ambiance is great, and the Peking Duck is amazing.
On top of that, management gives a lot of importance to each and every customer. It really feels like you are received as a guest, and not just as a client.

“I don’t typically write reviews, good or bad, however our experience at Xenia on Oct 12th has changed my mind. We were in the area from Boston just for the night and learned of Xenia through our hotels concierge. It was amazing and probably one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. The food was outstanding and prepared beautifully. We had the Spanikopita, Greek salads, shrimp saganaki, and lamb riblets. All very tasty and expertly prepared. What really did it though was the on point service offered by Mary (Maris). Her efficiency, attention to details, thoughtful presentation of the menu, was a 15 out of 10! She is a super star! We were delightfully surprised by the restaurant’s generous hospitality when they sent us a dessert sampler compliments of the house because we were out of state first timers. “You know the best food comes out of the little holes in the wall restaurants, right? Unpretentious, even hard to find if you follow Garmin GPS, but amazing food. This is it, the little gem of Ethiopian food off the beaten path in Ellicot City. Never packed in the restaurant, but always a pickup order going out the door. Beef, lamb, chicken wots (stews) plus vegetarian dishes are all available. Don't know what to order, just ask. Don't forget the doro wot for the fun of the hard boiled egg. Veggie sides give your mouth a break from the spicy dishes so you can dive back in. Take your Tums if this is new to you. If raw beef kitfo doesn't appeal, just ask them to cook it.

Even a little shop next door for you if you want to try your hand at Wots at home. Yes, you do want to try it. Warm stews simmering away on a cold, snowy day while you shovel snow, come in and grab some injera and go to town on warm and spicy stews. Oh yes. Don't forget to give your cardiologist a headache and make a batch of Shiro on the side because no one needs that much butter, but damn it's good when you do.

If you've never had Ethiopian food before, grab a friend and go here. Its quiet enough that you won't get lost in it all. Then hit the Ethiopian places around the Baltimore Symphony Meyerhoff building to advance your experience. Then go full on, hit up Silver Spring aka Little Ethiopia for the full immersion experience.“

“Very budget friendly family oriented local Korean spot. Good for small groups and so far everything has been good. All the soups, sujebi, kimbap is necessary. Tteokbokki is slightly sweet spicy and slightly savory. My go to spot to please the whole family.“

I ordered the shrimp drunken noodles, crab wontons, and catfish with rice. The drunken noodles were perfectly spicy and flavorful, the crab wontons were crispy and delicious, and the catfish was tender with great seasoning. Service was quick and very friendly, which made the experience even better.

Portion sizes are generous, and prices are reasonable for the quality and taste.

“This used to be my favorite. I came in last Friday bought a 32 oz smoothie. I do love the smoothies and chocolate covered almonds. They no longer have styrofoam cups which is a great disappointment. B4 you even get 20 mins away anything is melted in those plastic cups. I even tried to refreeze it like I always do. But it was mostly sweet juice by the time I got home. Which means I wasted my money. I need a cup that works please smoothie king! I still recommend because this bothers me and may not bother others.“
