“I was working in the area and Tandoor Spice was 1.5 miles from my last stop. I discovered it by other good reviews so tried ordering on my phone so I could pick it up. When it came to submit there was a little spinning circle and it continued until I arrived in the parking lot. I went inside and the nice gentleman apologized, checked the system and when he couldn’t see the order hung up in the system, he took my order right away. I ordered Butter Chicken and Garlic Naan. For the inconvenience he threw in a complimentary dessert. Got to the hotel and had a very good meal. More than I could eat in one sitting. Medium spice was perfect for me.“

“Came here for a family birthday dinner on a Saturday evening, did not disappoint! Since it was the weekend, it was definitely busy. We made a reservation a few days prior, so I do recommend making a reservation for the weekend (not sure how busy it gets during the weekday but I assume it would still be popular!) Our server was super attentive as well as the other servers walking around throughout our meal. He offered us recommendations and was very detailed and kind. He also mentioned that there are items that can be made Gluten Free but to not assume that the GF label means that it is gluten free by nature. We started with the calamari which tasted fresh and delicious! Always one of our go-to appetizers at any restaurant that offers it. For our mains, we ordered an assortment of entrees--pasta, paella, grilled salmon, and the ribeye steak. They were super accommodating to requests/substitutions as well (sub veggies for mashed potatoes, etc). Everything was so yum - nothing tasted lukewarm despite everything coming out around the same time. Nothing was bland - flavors were all prominent without being overbearing. The steaks were cooked according to temperature preferences and the salmon was not dry at all! The only reason why I docked a star is because of how loud it gets, making it a little difficult to have conversation with the table and also flag down our server who was super busy. It's also a little on the darker side (think borderline cheesecake factory level) so just beware for those who may have people in their party who cannot see well in dim lighting. Will definitely be back in the future :)“

“What an experience! So I decided to drop in at UO. So happy that I did. It was a nice vibe on a Wed afternoon. I started my meal with a Drink: Kingston Snow Day and a starter: Deviled Eggs. It was pretty good. The drink had me in a trance l, it was delicious and strong. The deviled eggs were good, not overly seasoned, just fresh ingredients. Of course I couldn’t leave w/o trying the oysters and all I can say is wow!! Delicious, fresh and the side dressings that come with them just enhances the flavor. These aren’t ordinary oysters, they taste exactly how they are described on the list. Add UO to your restaurant roster.“

“The food was good the shrimp po boy had great reviews online. It was huge definitely got my money's worth. The ingredients were fresh and the bread was soft and fresh. The shrimp was fried and seasoned perfectly. The cheesesteak the cheese wasn't that good but the meat was good bread was thin. The cheesecake was over priced and thin but it had a good flavor. The can soda wasn't cold. The service was fast and the food was hot. I didn't eat in I got door dash but the food was warm enough when we got it. I would definitely order the shrimp ok boy again.“

“Our server, Alex, was amazing! Ive been in the industry almost ten years, and he's one of the better servers I've had. This restaurant had better hold on to him tight! The brussel sprouts and calamari were great- nice and crispy. I had the honey lime salad, and it was fine! My partner had the filet risotto, and it could have been better. If you're going to offer steak to temp, I'd suggest not using such thin pieces. Luckily, the steak, though overcooked, was moist and flavorful. I'd suggest either using thicker cuts of filet, or not offering a choice of steak temp for that dish.“

“Wonderful experience. We loved our waiter, Gabe. My husband and I made reservations for our anniversary. He told us congratulations and offered us each a complimentary glass of champagne right off the bat. We soon had warm bread brought to our table and then we ordered cocktails and two appetizers. All delicious. Baked brie was phenomenal. My husband had the filet mignon & I ordered a ribeye. Both were cooked to perfection. “This place is fantastic! My husband and I went here to try hot pot for the first time and we had so much fun! The staff is super friendly and we’re kind enough to explain how it all worked. The seafood and veggies on the buffet were well maintained and the temperature was carefully controlled using cold tables and ice. The broth itself was delicious! “If you are looking for dimsum, look no further. This is the best dimsum restaurant in the dmv. Dim sum is a rare sight in Maryland, but to have exceptional dim sum is even rarer. Traditional cart style dim sum is extremely hard to find around these neck of the woods but dim sum palace executes excellent dim sum. Shui mai, pork buns, steam ribs, bbq pork puffs, shrimp dumpling, and egg custards are the show here. The traditional dishes are all a hit. The prices can be seen as steep but the quality justifies it.Since the grand opening, their operations have greatly improved and dimsum is larger portions. Lines start early so get there early.“

Get there a little earlier to account for finding a space and walking to the restaurant. * They have patio seating, indoor seating, bar seating, and high top seating. * They have individual bathrooms vs gender specific bathrooms. Two key takeaways: a) the bathrooms were clean b) the toilet tissue was a nice texture. Food: * The Walrus Breakfast included toast, sausage, bacon, eggs, and potatoes. This is a simple yet filling breakfast. Special shout out to the potatoes. They roasted the potatoes with sun-dried tomatoes. The two ingredients together are magical. * Cornbread Waffles: The cornbread waffle was okay. The blueberry compost, graham cracker crumbs, and whipped cream made this dish very desserty and too sweet for breakfast. * Shrimp and Grits: This dish was A+. It is definitely hearty and seasoned well. * Stone Ground Yellow Grits: I ordered a side of regular grits. It was cooked the way grits is suppose to taste...savory. Very good. Bottomless cocktails Uniquely, this restaurant doesn't offer bottomless mimosas; they offer bottomless cocktails. You get to choose between four cocktails and we drank them all. Please forgive me for not writing down all the cocktail names. Know that they are distinct, made with different liquors, and are a nice collection together. The bar was really slow; so when our first drink came, we put in the order for the next drink. We experienced excellent service from our server. She was friendly, attentive, and made great recommendations. The Walrus and Ale House has officially been added to my brunch rotation. If you are in the Columbia area, come check them out.“

Wings are too sticky and messy to eat while you drive back home but the fries are finger foods you can totally scarf down en route to your destination. They have honey old bay fries and I'd never even considered to top my fries with my preferred wing sauce. So good! They serve the fat crinkle cut fries and they're fried hard. The one major disappointment was paying $6 for an assortment of rolls and the bread came out and they were all the same and honestly not very fresh.
