I had two incredible pupusas (based on past experience and my own cooking) with what looks to be homemade curtido and a chicken tamale (tamal de gallina) at Pupuseria La Familiar in College Park. $7 for all this. Definitely five stars. Happy to order before the lunch rush, lol.“

“I can't wait to return here! They have four (new?) vegan options! The Soyrizo Pupusa (about $5) was melty and gooey and amazing! Wow! The Plantain and Avacado Bowl is perfect for dinner or a hungry person's lunch (about $11). I would order the Enchiladas to split as an appetizer (about $8.50) or order it for a kid, as it is on the small size, but it's amazingly tasty! The Empanada de Platano is out of this world! It's sweet and has a lightly spiced flavor and just so warm and soft inside! (About $5).“

“I stopped by Pupuseria El Buen Sabor earlier this week and can honestly say that I have never been to a more transparent and authentic pupuseria in the DMV. Ileana and her crew make the pupusas right in front of you from scratch, and are friendly and conversive.

The variety of flavors and options for pupusas alone puts most other restaurants to shame, pair that with quality and you've got a winning combination.

Eat in, dine out, doesn't matter. You'll be happy either way.“

“An Absolutely Delightful Experience! ??I've been driving past the 3 Hermanos food truck several times, always tempted by the tantalizing aromas but never stopping. Yesterday, I finally gave in to the craving and boy, am I glad I did!I ordered a shrimp taco bowl and a beef burrito, and the lovely lady in the truck was incredibly pleasant. She took my order with a smile and said it would be ready in 15 minutes. When I received my food, it looked absolutely mouth-watering, and the taste did not disappoint!Both the burrito and the shrimp taco bowl were incredibly well-balanced and full of flavor. The shrimp was cooked to perfection, and the seasoning on the beef was simply divine. We really had an awesome experience, and we'll definitely be visiting 3 Hermanos more frequently now.One thing to note about the burrito – the white sauce was delicious, but be careful .... Overall, I highly recommend 3 Hermanos for an authentic and delicious Mexican food experience. The friendly service and incredible flavors make it a must-try for anyone in the area!

“Great spot for affordable, authentic Latin food. I loved all the veggies and peppers on the tacos I ordered, and the frijoles refritos were SO flavorful. I got 5 tacos with rice and beans for myself and one other person, and we had a ton leftover. And it was only $22! I’d love to go back and try some of the sopas. I got my order for takeaway, but there’s a few tables inside as well. Will definitely be returning to this local, family spot :)“

“I haven't eaten here in years but today I suddenly had a craving for the chicken and shrimp fajitas and shrimp tacos (my usual) and after all this time it did not disappoint!!! The food was exactly how I remember!! Fresh and packed with flavor 😋 had to get extra sauce!!! My son and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Also my soda was flat when I opened it and the gentleman at the counter was nice enough to let me change it with no issues. The establishment was very clean and drinks well stocked. Their fried chicken is also really good. Horchata is very good too! They mostly have a 15-20 min wait time for you food but that’s normal.“

The quality is on point and gives you that home made sensation and love. The taco portions are huge, way bigger than what you would typically expect.
This place is more of your hole in the wall kind of spot that serves amazing food. If you are feeling adventurous and want to experience some amazing Mexican food, give this place a try. Service is meh and decor is ok but the food makes up for it.“
