“First off, the staff are friendly, professional, and very helpful! They’re patient and always ready with great suggestions. If you can’t decide, you can even sample the chicken salads. They also checked in to make sure the food was to your enjoyment. The environment is upbeat and spotless — even the bathrooms are clean!

Now, on to the food! Everything is delicious 😋. The daily soups are savory and warm you right to the core. I had the Classic Carol on toasted wheat, and it did not disappoint! The prices are fair for the amount and quality of food you get. The food walls served very quickly, less than 5 minutes from ordering to get to your table! Highly recommend!

“This place is almost always hopping so we decided to try it for ourselves. The chicken was very flavorful and juicy, the yucca had good flavor but also was very soggy by the time we got home a little less than 10 minutes later. The beans were a bland, but the Peruvian fried rice was top notch.

It won't replace our normal go to spot for pollo a la brasa but it's easy to see why these guys have been in business since the 80s. Would definitely recommend trying this spot out.“

My son had the veggie burrito but they also had a veggie platter, veggie quesadillas, veggie empanadas, and taco salad (ask for no chicken). My go-to order is 1/2 chicken with fries and beans. In addition, I'll add some street tacos on the side. Everything is excellent. You can't go wrong with either chicken or al pastor with the street tacos, and the mayonnaise sauce I use for dipping my fries is addictive! The restaurant is always clean, and the staff is quick and efficient, so the wait is never long. “Finding a Nicaraguan restaurant is really hard, so I'm glad the first one I went to after coming back from Nicaragua was Gio's. Now I don't have to worry about finding another one.

The owner, Santos, is a great guy, very friendly and accommodating. The menu is varied and still serves chicken, only now it it Nicaraguan style.

This is a great place to try if you want a twist on Hispanic food you've never had before.“
