“I mean it's a food truck at a gas station, not much atmosphere. Other than that No complaints!! Unless I get there late and she's out of pollo??‍♂️. Not her fault lol. Never been disappointed and if you're nice you may get some home pickled jalapenos, definitely a great lunch option. It's my go-to a couple times a week. Definitely recommend ??“

“This past weekend I had the pleasure of hosting my friends at Vera for my birthday dinner. We had the private room on the main floor, everything from
start to finish was absolutely amazing. Milena was so accommodating with all my questions during planning and was so sweet the night of, the servers in the room were so professional and attentive to our group, no ones glasses ever went empty throughout the night. The details of the food presentation were extraordinary and everything was both photo worthy and delicious. A few guests (including myself) had dietary restrictions and the staff were so helpful making those aware of what they could and couldn’t eat. I can’t wait to go back to Vera and experience their brunch.

Since we were on the main floor we were able to see the behind the scenes of the venue space Culture getting set up for the evening show (which some of our group was staying for) that was a cool almost ‘VIP’ experience. The overall atmosphere for both spaces was so welcoming and me and my friends have already made plans for future shows.“

“Amazing food. Attentive staff. This place serves a delicious variety of Mexican foods, beverages, and the best flan I have ever tasted. Our favorites include Tlayudas with pork, Bistec con Salsa Pasilla, Pastor Tacos. You really can’t go wrong. The offer tasty aguas frescas, tasty libations, and that creamy flan I mentioned above. The wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Angel is a gentleman, and listens carefully in order to customize your experience. “Wonderful afternoon meal on the patio before an early show at the 9:30 Club. Food was fresh, nicely seasoned and presented beautifully. We were celebrating a birthday and a beautiful slice of cake was served for the guest of honor. Waiter and staff were professional and attentive. Will definitely go back when we get the chance.“

“I went to District Taco at the recommendation of a friend, and it did not disappoint. The menu has a variety of options to choose from, and luckily one of the staff there, Eimy, was really helpful with recommending what's most popular, as well as what she's personally grown to love. I'd definitely say I left satisfied. The vibes were good my whole time there, and there was very little wait time. I'll be going back and sharing it with those I know. “The chicken mole California burrito was really really good - specifically the tortilla and the mole and beans. Everything tasted homemade and delicious. The carnitas super burrito was also really well made and the guacamole was good.

The cold brew was the best cold brew I’ve tried (I’ve had about 10) - it was really chocolatey and delicious.

The reasons for 4 stars is that I didn’t like how the portions were a bit small for the price. The chips and guac was $12 and seemed to involve about 1 or 2 avocados.

The burritos were filling - appreciated and needed the salsa verde that came with them! But still a bit pricy.

These views might also be influenced by the fact I felt pressured by the card machine at the register to tip more than 20% before the food came. The first screen that pops up when paying has only 3 suggested tips: 25, 22, and 20% - the highest I’ve seen on one of these apps. In total it came to $63 for 2 burritos, 1 chips and guac, and 2 cold brew coffees including tip which feels very expensive. We also were accosted by wasps on the patio that tried to get into our food, so that’s a reason for the 4 star atmosphere.

Nevertheless I would recommend this place - if you’re not worried about the price and savvy enough to tip appropriately/not accidentally.

“Hidden gem! Parked to go into another restaurant then happened to see the orders this restaurant was bringing out, so switched gears and came here for lunch. Food was delicious: fresh, hot, tasty unique flavors. Fresh ice water available for paying customers which was nice. The staff was friendly and smiling, helpful, polite when our child was looking for the restroom and the tables were cleaned up fast which was nice as the tables were turned over quickly. Want to come back even though we don’t live close!“
