“I mean it's a food truck at a gas station, not much atmosphere. Other than that No complaints!! Unless I get there late and she's out of pollo??‍♂️. Not her fault lol. Never been disappointed and if you're nice you may get some home pickled jalapenos, definitely a great lunch option. It's my go-to a couple times a week. Definitely recommend ??“

“I came to Tacombi for the first time for a work happy hour and we had a great time! Very happy with the food (delicious, fresh tacos), drinks (spicy margarita and watermelon tequila drink were a hit!), and the service was friendly and prompt. “I recently went for brunch and the French toast was out of this world — perfectly cooked, flavorful, and one of those dishes you keep thinking about after you leave. The whole experience was such a vibe. Great atmosphere, beautiful presentation, and bold flavors that really stand out. Definitely adding this to my go-to brunch spots!“

“Solid, easy, and unique dinner spot to catch up with your friends. Ambiance was great. Decor was great. Vibe was great. Food was great. Drinks were unique, but I wasn’t crazy about any of the ones I had to be honest taste-wise! The steak was amazing. Ceviche was tasty.

We had 5 people and spent 88$ each - we had 1-2 drinks each and apps, sides, and main dishes, which we all shared. Everyone we met there was super friendly, staff involved. You can take great pictures here lol.

Wish we had stayed for the DJ. Music/club area started playing music around 10:30-11pm, but no one out on the dance floor yet and we just decided to call it a night! Parking was easy at 7:30pm, and free on the street. 1 min walk into it. Street parking gets more packed as the night goes on, of course. When I was going back to my car at 11pm it was packed.“

“District Taco was nice, clean, and in a good location. The food was good, but overall I found it somewhat expensive for what you get. The menu felt pretty basic, and I was surprised that the burritos didn’t come with rice and beans, or nachos on the side.

You also have to ask for salsa and sour cream since there isn’t a salsa bar, which I would have preferred. There were also quite a few people standing around waiting for To-Go orders, which made the atmosphere feel a little crowded and was somewhat annoying.

Overall, I’d say it was an average-to-good experience, but definitely not a GREAT one. I gave it 4 stars for the effort and the overall cleanliness and location, but there’s room for improvement in the food value and service experience.“

Food was incredible, all the staff I spoke with were helpful and friendly, and my one complaint is that I waited until my last night to try this place… I would’ve eaten here every single night of my visit. I got the chicken tacos (cooked well, salsa and seasoning was flavorful and it wasn’t a skimpy portion), the mushroom tacos (phenomenal. 100/10. Seriously the best vegetarian tacos I’ve had in a hot minute, speaking as a Portlander), and the churros (also great). Didn’t take a picture cuz I ate it too fast. It’s Taco Tuesday ($5/two taco plate) but I ate so much I didn’t stay under $40 😂 that said, please plan a hefty tip for this awesome staff to make the difference between the price of this spot and a Cap Hill snobby spot… I promise it’s worth it.“

“Honestly this has been my go to spot for years as I loved their farm to table, healthy, vegetarian tacos! However, I sadly won’t be returning as they’ve just added chicken to their menu! Such a shame- vegetarian spots in dc are hard to come by- there are countless other places that serve chicken tacos. Such a shame, as I always brought all our friends and family here! Hope they change it back to all vegetarian!“

I had the quesadilla, and my friend got the California burrito—which comes loaded with fries inside and was honestly really good and filling. One thing I really appreciated was that they offer non-alcoholic slushies. I tried the guava one and it was so good, super refreshing and definitely a standout. I was a little surprised they don’t offer tacos, but the menu still has great options that hit the spot. The food, staff, and overall vibe were all on point—friendly service and a chill atmosphere that makes you want to stay a little longer than planned. “Moved to Germantown 3 and half months ago and came here for the first time last night, Judith was our waitress and she was great! Service was fast, food was amazing, the staff were great..even the security people! We got to witness 3 birthday celebrations they do and the performance is quick & fun!! Ricardo came by at the end of our meal to make sure we were good and helped pack our leftovers to go! Great things to say about this place and will definitely be returning. “Top tier flavor!!! The food at Big Papi's is excellent. Everything we ate was cooked fresh, hot and packed with flavor- the burrito, tacos, quesadillas were all so delicious and the hot sauce and house sauces on the side added even more flavor. Portions are huge, too, so it was worth every dime. We sat in their dining area for almost two hours with our meal and could've stayed longer because the vibes are immaculate. Staff was awesome - we felt very welcome here. Great location in Rockville Town Square with plenty of street and garage parking around. I highly recommend Big Papi's and will definitely eat here again!“

I’ve sampled most of the menu and never been disappointed. Prices are great as well.

The Papusas are incredible, and they sling a mean breakfast burrito as well (get it with steak).

I almost don’t want to write a review lest people find out about my secret breakfast spot but these guys deserve every 5 star review.“
