“A cool little (very small) ramen shop. Came in to avoid rush hour and so glad I did.

The employee when I visited was just so incredibly kind and polite.

The ramen was delicious, and interesting too (don't think I've ever had ramen with beef instead of pork) and the serving size is sneaky filling. Some of the best ramen I've had in the greater NOVA area.

Prices are a little high but quality definitely makes it easier to accept. The decor inside is definitely interesting, a mix of traditional ramen shop and anime.

Of note, the bathroom is also pretty cool, worth checking out tbh.

Parking: They have 4 parking spots in front otherwise it's street parking“

“I can't say enough good things about this place. It's a very busy little place but they run it very fast and efficiently. They even apologized in advance for how long it was going to take and it still came out fast. We ordered multiple things and all of them were amazing. The spicy pork belly ramen was outstanding and the crispy shrimp shumai was great too.“

“Some of the best ramen I've had in the area. Got there with a huge group right at Noon and they were able to easily accommodate us.

The Tan Tan Men will now be my go-to ramen order thanks to Zao. The broth was rich and full-bodied and it was loaded up with noodles and chicken. It had just the right amount of spice.

The Chicken Kara-age may be the best version of it I've ever had. The Chicken was unbelievably hot and coating was perfectly crisp and very flavorful.

“I don’t write reviews often but this place deserves one! I’ve only ordered though Uber eats from here but both times they’ve packaged everything so well. I’ll order a mix of hot and cold dishes to eat over the course of a few days and they use cardboard to make sure the hot dishes don’t affect the cold ones while en route to me. I also noticed they use recycled cardboard slips to do this which is so so great!!! The food is also great. The cilabrity and yummy rolls were very good (I like raw fish heavy rolls) and their sashimi cuts are one of the freshest/thickest out of the DC places (funny since it’s not even a sushi only specialty restaurant). Ramen broth and noodles are great and their various raw fish appetizers have been very yummy and the sauces done well! Also I’m not sure if it’s due to the volume of my orders but both of my orders included an item on the house :) reminds me of “service” in South Korea!“

“My wife and I googled Osaka Ramen & Sushi restaurant and dined in here this past Tuesday night. She was a bit reluctant to eat here at first due to the basic decor and the fact that no one else was dining in. However, once we tasted the food and experienced the friendly and prompt service, we were overjoyed! We shared the Shumai for an appetizer, which was lightly fried with a delicious sauce. Next, I ordered the Miso Ramen which had lots of yellow noodles with vegetables and tofu. My wife ordered the Teriyaki Salmon which came with a salad, Miso Soup, six Sushi pieces. All the items were delicious. We also drank Saki. The server explained that the restaurant had just received their alcohol license weeks ago. To top off the meal, the server gave us each a sesame ball for dessert on the house. We ordered the Japanese egg rolls to go. The bill was only $64! As a new restaurant, we hope Osaka Ramen & Sushi thrives because the quality of food and the value are among the best we have tried in quite a while. We recommend this restaurant with 5 stars!“

My husband and I make it a point to god every month or two, you always get quality. As being spoiled by NY and NJ for several years we’re picky but this is our spot.“

“My family are regulars. I was initially worried that opening a Japanese place just two blocks from Sushi Jin wouldn’t be good for either restaurant but we’ve been going to both at least 1/mo since Kushi opened. Outside of sushi, their menus are pretty different and have their own strengths. Highly recommend Kushi’s chicken katsu and curries. Kushi wings are also great. Staff has always been nice and there’s usually another table with kids, like us. But it’s not crazy. It’s a great space but half the time it can get a bit (cooking) smoky.

Kid-friendliness: This is not a place for rowdy kids since it’s one big open space for everyone to hear and see anything that might go crazy. But the staff is flexible and perfectly welcoming for grade-school aged kids. There’s also never a line for either of the (gender-less) bathrooms.“

“First time customer, i love this place! I had their Peach Oolong Green Tea with Honey Boba after asking Jay for their favourite tea, and I'm glad I did! I'll def be going back again to try the food too. The atmosphere and interior design is beautiful as well, not to mention how kind and welcoming Jay was. My only problem was finding the shop! I was looking for Pearl Lady and i had to go into the winery next door to ask for directions! Turns out the sign to look out for is DomoIshi, and after you go inside you'll find Pearl Lady. Can't wait to go again!“

“Superb soup dumplings and ramen. The pork and shrimp, and Mala were perfect. The soup was hot but not scalding and the dumplings filling was perfect texture. Super easy to eat. The ramen (duck and Reren) were phenomenal. Broth was flavorful and the ingredients were fresh. The bok choy was tender but still crunchy. Service was friendly and attentive.“

However, after checking three times, two boxes were not ready for us to go until 40 minutes… At home, two items were tasted average. “This is a great spot to share a meal with family, a hangout with friends, or a solo meal. I enjoy happy hour here most. The food is tasty, with good portions for the price. Sushi is tasty and fresh, the dumplings are yummy and full of flavor. The drinks are on point, the bar tender is great. The customer service is great, staff is cheerful, friendly, and helpful. The restaurant is decorated nicely with many windows for natural lighting and a nice view. I recommend visiting this spot, one of my favs in the area.“
