“The best part about my stop here was not only was my sandwhich great but the customer service was exceptional. I ran in about 10 min before they were closing (they had already started wrapping & putting things away) which I totally get, it’s a slow area around this time. But they didn’t even blink an eye to take my order, unwrap things & we’re so nice about it. They truly went above & beyond & I was so greatful because I was starving & not much was open in the area. Luv awesome customer service, will definitely be back!”

Both times we just sat at the bar and Dante served us. It was a pleasure sitting with him.

Yes, there were TVs everywhere. Yes, the food was good. But Dante and the staff? They set this location apart from the rest.”

“We had eaten at this Owings Mills location when it was The Stanford Kitchen and Glenwood's is such a huge improvement. Lovely decor as in the Columbia, MD location. They don't have an extensive menu but what they offer is large portions and very tasty entrees. I had the Branzino special that was filleted with Orzo rice and asparagus. Everything was delicious. My husband liked his Rattlesnake Pasta. It was such a huge portion he barely finished 1/2 and had the leftover for Sunday dinner. Their skillet cornbread is so good I never need to add butter. A true test of good cornbread IMHO. This Owings Mills location is smaller than Columbia but everything else seems on par. We don't drink alcohol so I can't comment on that. The noise level was extremely loud, partly due to a large party seated in the middle of the restaurant. There must have been a professional comedian at their table because the laughs from that table were nonstop the entire time we were there.”

“We stayed for one night at the Marriott Owings Mill and decided to try The Tillery which is located in the hotel. The hotel was wonderful and we had a great meal at the Tillery. We had the putine for an appetizer and the branzino for our entree. It was exceptional. Our daughter had crab cakes which she throughly enjoyed. We ended with chocolate lava cake which was delicious! Shawanna provided outstanding service and all of her recommendations were spot on. The restaurant is lucky to have her. Would definitely recommend this establishment to others.”

“Fortune China serves delicious food! My favorites are Sweet and Sour Chicken with white rice and String Beans with Chicken and white rice. I also love their fried Chicken Wings with rice. And the owner is always a pleasure to chat with when I pick up my food! I just love this place. Can't say enough good things about their food and service.”

They even offer to take family pictures of us. We have had an array of foods on the menu from rice options, to noodles, to sushi, etc. and they all are amazing!

They aren’t always super busy (at least for dine-in) which makes a peaceful atmosphere.

While most places are raising their prices and lowering the amount of food you get, we noticed a slight increase in prices ($1 for my eggplant parm, and a few dollars for crab cakes), we unquestionably actually got MORE food. My eggplant parm was 3 large meals, and the crab cakes were huge, and full of big pieces of crab meat. Definitely the best deal in town.”

“Red Run Deli truly outdid themselves with my recent order, and I can’t help but express how much love and appreciation I have for the experience they gave me. From the moment I opened the bag, I knew this wasn’t just another meal — it was care, flavor, and quality wrapped in one perfect delivery.

The fries were nothing short of perfection. Freshly cooked, golden, and crisp on the outside while remaining warm and soft inside. Not greasy, not soggy — just right. Each bite reminded me what real fries are supposed to taste like — comfort, warmth, and satisfaction.

But the real star of the show was the buffalo chicken tenders. Tender on the inside, lightly crunchy on the outside, they were freshly made and seasoned with so much intention. This is also almost the only place in the county open on Sundays for the reasonably priced mom-pop style breakfast platters/sandwiches (vs commercial spots like Ihop and Eggspectations or something). I most appreciate how consistently fresh the bagels are for sandwiches (Compared to THB which will pull a tooth 😆) and how well seasoned the home fries are with fresh/tender )/edible onions. A GEM indeed. I place this in the $1-$10 pp category because really...a sandwich and home fries will only run you about $10.”

Also, if you happen to be congested but would still like to have something flavorful, their jollof rice and it's spices are definitely the answer for that problem 😉

Side Note: my food choice was a platter that came with peppered fish w/jollof rice and a side of plantain. I also bought a separate side of Plantain because I didn't know beforehand that the platter already had plantain included, but I was glad I did because my platter came with so much rice to save for later and I'll have more plantain on the side to go with it 😊”
