“The food? Look elsewhere. The alcohol inventory? Awesome. They will get you whatever you want so just because it's not in stock, don't fret. And the prices are good too, This is NOT the Mr. Charles that used to be. Make no mistake that this is a liquor store that makes a few Indian dishes on the side and carries a few snacks and condiments. Perfect local place to get your drunk on.“
“Location is a bit secluded, but this place is definitely a goldmine. The inventory is so large, you'll definitely be able to find WHATEVER you're looking for and more here. I personally came in for wine coolerd and left with two bottles of wine that I tried from a sampler (Espanola).“
“I had a great time here!! I got the mango Lassi, chicken Tikka tacos, veggie samosas, chicken noodle soup, and I got curry chicken with mustard seed. I was not a fan of the mustard seed in the curry, and the veggie samosas were pretty salty. My dad got the shrimp vindaloo and he raves about it. Other than that everything was delicious! The flavor is absolutely there! The food comes out piping hot, and the staff was very nice, and attentive. I'd say go during the middle/early afternoon of the day if you can. Also, the take away foil and paper containers aren't the strongest, so be aware of that. Overall, a great place to dine!Parking: There is a free parking lot behind the building. There is parking across the "street" in a garage. Also, if you are lucky, there is street parking. Not sure if it is paid parking or not.“
“Honestly, this was some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had. & I have extraordinarily high standards for food.Paneer Tikka Masala & Butter Chicken were TOP NOTCH. Plus, their naan was drool-worthy. We will be back again & again.“
“We celebrated here with family for my wife’s birthday. From the first step into the restaurant everyone was welcoming, right on top of getting us situated and more than happy to ensure we were comfortable. We had our three kiddos with us so finding a good spot so that we could relax was super nice of the team.“
“Ok first of all I can’t even say how wonderful the people were at cafe spice even if the food was bad (which it wasn’t keep reading) I would come here for the warm welcoming staff But the food omg amazing! Accidentally on purpose I tried some of the onion kulcha on the way home I may or may not have broken the speed limit to get home to try the rest It was amazing and did not disappoint!! I have been searching for a great Indian place since the pandemic and have finally found it !! I could post pictures but in my haste I ate everything without taking photos This place is amazing it was so warm welcoming and food was so delicious…. They even offered my a complementary drink! Not only the best food ever but the most amazing service I would give 25 stars if that was a thing not exaggerating“
“I was working in the area and Tandoor Spice was 1.5 miles from my last stop. I discovered it by other good reviews so tried ordering on my phone so I could pick it up. When it came to submit there was a little spinning circle and it continued until I arrived in the parking lot. I went inside and the nice gentleman apologized, checked the system and when he couldn’t see the order hung up in the system, he took my order right away. I ordered Butter Chicken and Garlic Naan. For the inconvenience he threw in a complimentary dessert. Got to the hotel and had a very good meal. More than I could eat in one sitting. Medium spice was perfect for me.“
“Very delicious food and a fun bright ambiance unlike anything else nearby. A lot of “Indian street food” places only have a few specialties but this place has got so many. Feels like an actual fast casual chain from India (maybe it is?) I had the Amdavani sandwich which was great. Can’t wait to try the other “
“I just ordered food through Uber. I have food allergies and when I called them he was so great about it. It was awesome customer service. Now food OMGGGGGGGGG best Pakistani food no joke. I am picky as hell when I say their food is amazing. It was amazing. Can’t wait to try this place in person!!!! Thank you for awesome food. Perfect way to open fast!!! Chana was the best finally really Pakistani Chana dish!!! ❤️?❤️“
“I was visiting Baltimore for my winter vacation and I was looking for halal option that’s when I came across Beleveder Cafe. All there Indian options were halal . It was awazing .Highly recommend 10/10.Vegetarian options: Palak paneer ,vegetable korma.“
“Not many South Indian bakeries around so just having one available is great. It is a miracle if you get proper service or any one acknowledges your presence when you enter. You have a better chance of winning a lottery than the service staff make eye contact while ordering. Their everyday special items are great. Cake is good as well. Eggless cake options for vegetarians are available. It will take twice the amount of time than you expect for any order and the cake orders are guaranteed to be frustrating but yet it's not like we have any other choice. Would I go again? Of course! Will they make eye contact? Of course not!Vegetarian options: Eggless cakes, samosas,Parking: 30Kid-friendliness: Lots of deserts“
“The restaurant is cute and decorated nicely! The food is delicious and fresh- They are located next to a pizza boils and there is street parking out front. We've never had to wait long for the food we order and the staff is really nice. I like the chicken tikka masala and the Chana masala the best. They are good for carry out or eating in!“
“I’ve been to this restaurant several times. The food is always fresh and excellent. The staff is really nice. They know the dishes and they can explain everything to you. Always had good experience. Highly recommended for vegetarian Indian food.“
“The food here is pretty good, depending on what you get. We've ordered take-out several times. The nihari last time was not good at all. Super oily, meat was terrible quality and it tasted like crap. As a nihari lover, I was greatly disappointed. But their beef bihari kababs are amazing!! Sooo yummy! We also love their biryani and karahi. We have had issues a couple times with getting the wrong dish. But they are very willing to acknowledge and rectify any issues. That's why we keep coming back. They seem to care about their customers and have always made up for any issues we experienced. For example, one of the dishes I ordered last time was the mild Daal Makhani (for a toddler) and instead, we got spicy Chana Masala. I called them and the person I spoke to quickly apologized for the error and gave us credit for a free daal makhani next time. Also, to make up for the terrible nihari we got last time, they gave us a free chicken entree. That's amazing customer service in my opinion!“
“This place is great! Highly recommended trying it out and specifically trying their Indian food. Wanted to order take out and saw that they had Indian options, didn't have high expectations but man was I surprised. Good authentic Indian food to rival any stand alone Indian restaurant. My only complaint is that I wasn't a huge fan of their Naan. Have a feeling they use the pizza dough and I thought it came out too doughy. All in all this place is great, will be back for sure!“
“I have been going to this carry out for over tens years. The absolute best Chicken Tika Marsala. I come for the Indian food and it is great. I usually add a side of Naan. The staff is nice and efficient and prices are reasonable especially with the amount of food you get. These guys are great and I will always stop in to see them when I’m in Baltimore! It’s a carry out so not super fancy but it definitely makes up for flavor taste and quality of food.“
“I loved going here for lunch. Was greeting with a smile. Buffet looked great! But I opted out for the menu...I had the chicken Tikka and daal makhni w/ onion kulcha. Very flavourful and authentic!I was pleased with the atmosphere and it wasn't crowed nor loud.Plenty of parking:)I'll be back to taste other items plus dessert!“
