But it’s just a small container of peanut sauce.” I don’t care what the size of the container is, it’s advertised as a package and I expect everything in the order.“

“We had a delicious meal of Aloo Paratha which was fresh off the grill and so good dipped in the sauce. We also really enjoyed the Lamb Kathi roll which was a little spicy for the kids but I thoroughly enjoyed it. We will definitely return for yummy authentic Indian food.“

“5 Tried this Bangladeshi restaurant near Silver Spring called Maurya Kebabs and Curries....its a hole in the wall kinda place, nothing fancy but good food. My daughter and I came here to celebrate my birthday - and Ananda did not disappoint! My mood was majorly elevated the moment we walked in the door and took in the gorgeous lavishness that is Ananda. From the warm and welcoming greeting to the decadent desserts this was a 5+ experience! We had Vegetable Samosa Chaat for an appetizer (enough for a whole meal!), Mint and Chili Naan (you must try!), Lamb Vindaloo, Fish Curry, and a side of Palak Paneer. For drinks we had the non-alcohol Organic Berry Smash and Goji Iced Tea both of which were delicious! Although stuffed and sated we HAD to get dessert (it was my birthday, right?) and ordered the Gulab Jamun (oh so warm and scrumptious) and the Flourless Chocolate Torte w/ ice cream. Wait staff and servers were all extremely personable, friendly, efficient, and kind. Ananda is a just tad on the pricey side - but worth every penny! I can't wait to go back! :)“

“Favorite Indian restaurant in the Silver Spring area. My husband loves the chicken korma and I the navaratna korma and bhindi bhaji. But really, we've never had a dish here we didn't like. When my mother-in-law was visiting us, she made us come here just for the chai, it's so lovely. And we always get the garlic naan and onion kulcha. Unexpected culinary gem in a strip mall.“

The service was a bit absent, and being the only table in the place for most of our meal is more of an attention issue than staff or too many patrons. Dinner was wonderful -- vegetable samosas (spicy but not too much!), chicken tikka, roti. Wine by the glass did not seem over-priced compared to trend I've been seeing at other places, and it was a generous quantity that lasted through the meal. Restaurant interior is nicely decorated and feels very cozy at the same time, though they look ready to handle a crowd. I'm glad that they have avoided putting up any large TV screens, which can spoil dining out rather than provide a distraction, in my opinion.“

“Upon arrival I thought this was a sit down restaurant but they didn't have any seating inside at all. We ordered the saag paneer pie pizza and the chicken tikka masala pie pizza. Both the pizzas were good but I like the saag paneer one better. Additionally I feel like the chicken tikka masala pizza should have had more toppings on it, it was just cheese, sauce, and chicken. It would be better if it also had onions and cilantro on it since that comes in the actual dish as well. Overall it was pretty good.“
