“These guys make very good food, and they are very eager to please. They have two menus, one with American food like pizza and burgers and fried chicken, and the other with Indian food. Personally I like their non-curry dishes. It is quite spicy and never bland. Tonight I had the chicken thigh dinner which was very soft and spicy. It was fantastic. They also seemed to have invested a good amount of money into this place. Nice quality interior and good parking outside. The owner and the hostess both came to the table personally and asked us about how the food tastes. These people really care.“

Special occasions when the mood is right, we go to the ambassador for that special taste of Indian cuisine. I’ve been going to the ambassador for the last 20 years. This is a family run business in the heart of Baltimore social life, between Inner Harbor, Harbor East and Fells Point (more to Fells Point side). It is our favorite Indian restaurant in Baltimore by far. My husband and I really enjoy their lunch buffets, they service freshly made food and have a variety of options. The lunch buffet has Indian salads, sometimes vegetable samosas, at least a few different meat entrees, at least a few different vegetable entrees, dessert, and always hot chai tea with sugar options. My husband and I enjoy going to not only eat the food, but also appreciate how friendly and hospitable Amir and his family are. They also have respectful staff, and run a very peaceful operation. We appreciate every visit, and when we leave, we feel like we have gained 5 pounds each (in a good way!). Looking forward to our next visit :) Thank you Mr. Amir and family!“

“Verandah Kitchen is easily one of my favorite spots and a place I find myself coming back to often. The food has amazing flavor with just the perfect amount of spice—every dish feels thoughtfully prepared and consistently delicious. I am gluten free- there are many options for me!

The restaurant itself is quaint, clean, and welcoming, with both indoor and outdoor seating options that create a very nice, relaxed vibe. It’s the kind of place where you can truly unwind and enjoy your meal.

What really stands out is the service. The staff is always incredibly kind, and the owner is regularly present, making sure everything is running perfectly and that guests are well taken care of.

Some of my absolute favorite dishes are the prawns ghee roast, chicken rista, chicken malai kabab, and the shrimp taco on a corn tortilla—highly recommend trying them if you visit.

“Fairly new to visiting the restaurant however the four (4) times I have dined or had carryout, the staff was welcoming, pleasant, the food was delicious (sidebar: I recommend the cream of crab soup), and the atmosphere was relaxing. My high school class reunion committee even planned our meeting there and was able to plan professionally without a lot of interruptions and A-1 service. I would recommend and do not have any bad reviews! Continue being a staple in the community.“

“While this won’t stop us from ordering their delicious food again, tonight’s experience just wasn’t the same. I ordered the family package with vegetarian Biryani, which included raita, salan, plain rice, naam, and chicken curry. We got our order and it was missing the salan. I called the restaurant and got the weirdest explanation. “It’s a very small container. They make a large container and if it runs out. But it’s just a small container of peanut sauce.” I don’t care what the size of the container is, it’s advertised as a package and I expect everything in the order.“

“We were heading to NJ from RVA, decided to make a quick stop for some Haleem and Chicken 65 along with Goat Biryani everything was top notch exactly how it should be from an authentic Hyderabadi place.
While returning back we ordered the same items along with Apricot delight and Dilkush everything was phenomenal.

I appreciated the attentiveness and how kind of staff were. The lunch buffet had a decent amount of options for vegetarians and other eaters. I don’t know if the items rotate so I can’t say anything for that, but I imagine they would. Thank you for giving me such a good dining experience, I will be back!“

“I had an issue with my order from GrubHub that unfortunately led to me not receiving it but the manager called me two days later to let me know he was out for a couple days and was so sorry to hear about my troubles. He immediately offered to fix it and sent me the food I had been waiting on free of charge. He really made me feel better about the situation and like he cared. “I am a pizza snob. I have had the best in Connecticut, NY and Chicago...Baltimore's has one other great pizzeria (which I will not name here) but this spot!?!?!? OMG. Indian Pizza was the hook that drew me in. The Indian food on the menu is fantastic, and then the Indian pizza? Its the best pizza in Baltimore and can hold its own with the best up north. Seriously. The staff is kind and its the perfect spot to order and pick up food. But yeah, the pizza here is as good as advertised if not better.“
