“These guys make very good food, and they are very eager to please. They have two menus, one with American food like pizza and burgers and fried chicken, and the other with Indian food. Personally I like their non-curry dishes. It is quite spicy and never bland. Tonight I had the chicken thigh dinner which was very soft and spicy. It was fantastic. They also seemed to have invested a good amount of money into this place. Nice quality interior and good parking outside. The owner and the hostess both came to the table personally and asked us about how the food tastes. These people really care.“

“I really enjoyed the food I had, starting with the vegetable samosa, and for my meal, I had the lamb shahi korma. I took an order of the butter chicken home with me. I also had the butter naan and a mango lassi with my meal. I really enjoy Indian food and this location is very convenient and close to my home. I will definitely come here again and will have their lunch buffet.“

“I recently visited Biryani and Bakers and I was thoroughly impressed by both the variety and quality of the food. The staff is very warm and welcoming. This restaurant offers an extensive menu that caters to all tastes. However, what truly stole the show was their chicken biryani – it was absolutely delicious! Guthivankaya biryani is also amazing! The portions were generous, and the accompanying raita complemented the dish perfectly.

“This was our first time here and we opted to eat outside right on the sidewalk. Overall, it was a great experience. We ordered 4 small plates + a plain naan. Everything was tasty and well seasoned. We had plenty to eat with the 4 dishes. I am giving the restaurant a 4 rather than a 5 for two reasons: the naan bread is not baked fresh and that’s unfortunate. Also, be aware that 20% service is included in the check. I almost gave another 20% until I realized it was already included. We are planning to return in the summer to try more dishes.
P.S. Different freshly baked breads are an important part of an Indian and they enhance the meal.“

“Been here twice, once was years ago pre-pandemic and it was fabulous. We said we should come back here more often but never did… then the pandemic messed everything up and we went travel nursing. Now we’re back in town again… AND ITS STILL AMAZING. I got a jalfrezi, and hubby got tikka masala. The medium felt like a true medium, not whitewashed. Service was lovely. We were one of two couples who dined in, but looks like they have a busy takeout business. So glad they didn’t disappear in the pandemic like so many other places! Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!“

“While this won’t stop us from ordering their delicious food again, tonight’s experience just wasn’t the same. I ordered the family package with vegetarian Biryani, which included raita, salan, plain rice, naam, and chicken curry. We got our order and it was missing the salan. I called the restaurant and got the weirdest explanation. “It’s a very small container. They make a large container and if it runs out. But it’s just a small container of peanut sauce.” I don’t care what the size of the container is, it’s advertised as a package and I expect everything in the order.“

“I had an issue with my order from GrubHub that unfortunately led to me not receiving it but the manager called me two days later to let me know he was out for a couple days and was so sorry to hear about my troubles. He immediately offered to fix it and sent me the food I had been waiting on free of charge. He really made me feel better about the situation and like he cared. I have never had someone show me that level of concern for my issue. All my friends recommend this place, and I am happy to say that I do as well.“

“Delicious and great value. When I was looking at the menu I thought they seemed a bit expensive but DAMN you get a lot of food here! We got a saarg, samosa chaat, and a tandoor chicken kabab - all v good. The chicken exceptionally juicy and well seared. The samosa chaat was under $10 but that in itself could easily feed 2 people, and it had a nice chili kick to it. We will be eating happily the leftovers for days and will definitely come back. 10/10 recommend“

“The food is outstanding. I eat it at least 3-4 a week. My favorite is chicken madras, it is like nothing I have ever eaten before. The savory spices make my mouth water just thinking about it. The chicken is tender, and I can’t seem to get enough. I eat the whole portion by myself. I highly recommend this restaurant and I forgot to mention the service is outstanding. It is worth the money I spend to eat there.“

“I usually don’t eat Indian food, too spicy, but the ambassador makes the food just perfect for my taste. Special occasions when the mood is right, we go to the ambassador for that special taste of Indian cuisine. I’ve been going to the ambassador for the last 20 years. Today I drove 28 miles from home just to enjoy dinner at this great restaurant. Thank you for the good food and good service.“
