“I really enjoyed the food I had, starting with the vegetable samosa, and for my meal, I had the lamb shahi korma. I took an order of the butter chicken home with me. I also had the butter naan and a mango lassi with my meal. I really enjoy Indian food and this location is very convenient and close to my home. I will definitely come here again and will have their lunch buffet.“

Special occasions when the mood is right, we go to the ambassador for that special taste of Indian cuisine. I’ve been going to the ambassador for the last 20 years. “This was the 1st time I've had Indian cuisine. It was a wonderful experience. Our server explained everything to us about the menu and some traditions. He pointed us in the direction and what to eat. He was the best.Our food was fantastic all of it. I wish I could post the food because I can't remember all the names. “Loveeeeee. Great food and drinks. Helpful location if you’re doing something downtown. We went for dinner and drinks before seeing a comedy show around the corner. The service was slow, though. There were 5 customers inside when we went and we waited so long for our order to be taken. Then, our food took a while. It was really good, as were the drinks. I would definitely go back but we cut it close to the show time. Parking is rough around here so plan ahead.“

This is a family run business in the heart of Baltimore social life, between Inner Harbor, Harbor East and Fells Point (more to Fells Point side). It is our favorite Indian restaurant in Baltimore by far. My husband and I really enjoy their lunch buffets, they service freshly made food and have a variety of options. The lunch buffet has Indian salads, sometimes vegetable samosas, at least a few different meat entrees, at least a few different vegetable entrees, dessert, and always hot chai tea with sugar options. My husband and I enjoy going to not only eat the food, but also appreciate how friendly and hospitable Amir and his family are. They also have respectful staff, and run a very peaceful operation. We appreciate every visit, and when we leave, we feel like we have gained 5 pounds each (in a good way!). Looking forward to our next visit :) Thank you Mr. Amir and family!“

“Been here twice, once was years ago pre-pandemic and it was fabulous. We said we should come back here more often but never did… then the pandemic messed everything up and we went travel nursing. Now we’re back in town again… AND ITS STILL AMAZING. I got a jalfrezi, and hubby got tikka masala. The medium felt like a true medium, not whitewashed. Service was lovely. We were one of two couples who dined in, but looks like they have a busy takeout business. So glad they didn’t disappear in the pandemic like so many other places! “These guys make very good food, and they are very eager to please. They have two menus, one with American food like pizza and burgers and fried chicken, and the other with Indian food. Personally I like their non-curry dishes. It is quite spicy and never bland. Tonight I had the chicken thigh dinner which was very soft and spicy. It was fantastic. They also seemed to have invested a good amount of money into this place. Nice quality interior and good parking outside. The owner and the hostess both came to the table personally and asked us about how the food tastes. These people really care.“

“Probably the best Indian restaurant I've been to in Howard County. I dine in and order takeout, while preferring the latter. Being a pure vegetarian, there are many vegetarian options and there's no compromise on the quality. We generally order a vegetarian thali alongside kuttu parotha and a vegetarian appetizer.

Among all the delicacies that I've tried at Sangam, I've loved the Kadai paneer biryani, paneer pepper fry, chilli baby corn, south indian thali, kuttu parotta, malai kofta, navaratan korma to name a few. But the appetizers are really crunchy and tasty.“

I ordered the family package with vegetarian Biryani, which included raita, salan, plain rice, naam, and chicken curry. We got our order and it was missing the salan. I called the restaurant and got the weirdest explanation. “It’s a very small container. They make a large container and if it runs out. But it’s just a small container of peanut sauce.” I don’t care what the size of the container is, it’s advertised as a package and I expect everything in the order.“

The rice is always perfectly cooked fluffy, fragrant, and beautifully spiced while the meat is tender, juicy, and seasoned all the way through. My favourite and go to is the Mutton Pulau. Every order feels consistent and made with care.

“Fairly new to visiting the restaurant however the four (4) times I have dined or had carryout, the staff was welcoming, pleasant, the food was delicious (sidebar: I recommend the cream of crab soup), and the atmosphere was relaxing. My high school class reunion committee even planned our meeting there and was able to plan professionally without a lot of interruptions and A-1 service. I would recommend and do not have any bad reviews! Continue being a staple in the community.“

I appreciated the attentiveness and how kind of staff were. The lunch buffet had a decent amount of options for vegetarians and other eaters. “One of the two vegetarian restaurants in Howard County and I am a very frequent visitor. I like the Punjabi Thali, the parathas, noodles with Manchurian (I believe it is their specialty, never ever found this in an Indian restaurant with a Chinese section). Since the restaurant is located inside the deli store of a gas station, it might not be family friendly and hence we order takeout but there are 6-7 tables for a hostel/dorm like dine in option. No doubting of the quality of food. It's very delicious, very comforting and the recipes made upto specifications. Must try for vegetarians. If you are in luck, the chef packs a little extra quantity for Thalis.“

“I am a pizza snob. I have had the best in Connecticut, NY and Chicago...Baltimore's has one other great pizzeria (which I will not name here) but this spot!?!?!? OMG. Indian Pizza was the hook that drew me in. The Indian food on the menu is fantastic, and then the Indian pizza? Its the best pizza in Baltimore and can hold its own with the best up north. Seriously. The staff is kind and its the perfect spot to order and pick up food. But yeah, the pizza here is as good as advertised if not better.“

“Recently ordered panini sandwiches (chicken and paneer) for a lunch party and all our guests LOVED them. The bread was nice and thick to hold the tasty and well-cooked paneer /chicken along with salad-like filler material. Great portion size, reasonably priced, and the order was ready on time. Samosas were also very good! Cakes were awesome as well - both black forest and butterscotch. True to their name!“
