“I was able to take advantage of their Valentine's Day ordering, and my husband was soooo surprised with his Salted Caramel Ice Cream!!!The best purchase was the Valentine's Cake they offered, and with a limit of 20 available, I was one of the lucky ones. The cake was sublime! It had luscious layers of various ice creams, and the hidden gem was the gooey fudge section, almost like hot fudge, minus the hot!!! The best $40 I've spent in a very long time ( as an Instacart Shopper, it took me 2 orders to pay for it, but well worth the extra effort it took me)!!!I'm definitely looking forward to their spring opening. I highly recommend that if you're in the area of Oxford, MD, it is a MUST STOP!! They also have a sister eatery just across the street, Oxford Social Cafe. I have not eaten their but it looks like a very nice hometown place to enjoy. Both locations will invoke memories of a time long gone. We need more local establishments like this in our communities!!!Support your local businesses. They need us more than ever!!!Kid-friendliness: It will bring out the KID in all of us!!!“

“My Ruben was exceptional, and the shrimp sandwich and cheese steak I saw on other plates were the same. Waitress was there and seemed to know what we needed when we needed it. The room atmosphere was rustic and made you feel completely at home.“
“Quaint historic inn. Views of the water. Convenient rooms, restaurant, and bar all in one location. Our room was spacious but the bathroom was super tiny but usable. The negative was that they have a problem w getting hot water to the rooms. In the morning I ran the hot water for ten minutes and it never got hot and so I took a very cold shower. Our friends were in another location in the Inn and they didn't have hot water either.Rooms: Rooms were all different since this is an historic inn. And because of that please dont expect modern amenities ... just enjoy the atmosphere. But you will have to walk up the stairs to rooms so if you have any issues climbing stairs that is a consideration.Walkability: Good location to walk to everything in town. We were going to the taste of Cambridge, so it was a great location to come back to after a cold rainy day outside.“

“We dined in the bar area on Sunday evening! Excellent service from Peter as our bartender/server! Excellent food/wine recommendations from Jen!Lucky for us we were able to order from the last week of the winter/spring menu.! We opted for the baked local wild diver oysters! We both agreed they were the best we have had this year! So tender and flavorful! Hubby opted for the short rib bourguignon and he loved it. If I see Coq au vin on a menu it’s my go to! Served over house made egg noodles it was the best I’ve ever had! 5⭐️’s all the way! The Bistro is a must while in STM!“

“The Grilled Oyster made me write this review!!!I came here 5 months ago, had a fantastic experience, but I’m terrible at adding reviews (my review count is small vs. some other top contributors).I’m on the eastern shore of MD again and just had a rather mediocre grilled oyster at a different place which instantly triggered the fond memories of Ava’s Grilled Oysters ???Long winded way of saying… try these amazing Grilled Oysters! And the pizza and everything else. This place is amazing!“

“I was introduced to Sprout when they opened a new location in the State House in Annapolis. Excellent healthy food options. Great staff who are so friendly. I’m going to miss them when General Session is over but will seek them out in Easton.“

“We decided to go to St Michael's island for the day. It was our first time going there unfortunately, crab season ended the day before we arrived, so none of the restaurants we wanted to go to have crab on the menu. Matter of fact, some of the restaurants had closed for business for the fall, and did not plan to reopen until late spring. We went to this restaurant in tried the fake postures, and they were PHENOMENAL!! I wish I would've taken a picture, but I ate them too fast! They took about 20 minutes to come to the table and it was well worth it. I wish I had ordered more, but I only ordered six and they closed at 4 PM. We got there at 3:30 PM.“

“Can’t find breakfast in Oxford? Take a small drive to Trappe. This tiny coffee shop in what was once an old bank serves wonderful breakfast sandwiches. Coffee is fresh and real cream is served. If you like fried potatoes this is it! Staff and cook very friendly.“

“Nice spot to grab some tasty sandwiches or soup. Everything was fresh and good. You order at the counter and they bring out the food to your table when it is ready. Got a chicken salad on ciabatta and a Rueben sandwich. Quick service and iced tea was so good too.“

“This is the 5th year we have come to visit this town and we never skip Theos. The food is amazing, the drinks are made to perfection and the service, WOW. We love the bartender Lacey and the connection to her guests as well as the manager Audrey, who treats each guest with care and a smile.Thank you for another wonderful year and feeding us the best food.“
“Hands down one of the best burgers I've ever had. Took a few coworkers there for an outing. They all rave about the chessie burger to this day. I suggest going with the triple because the double is that good. Huge fan of every beer on tap of course“

“If you like sweet wines this is the place for you. My wife and I are not a fan of sweet wines but decided to give it a shot. The staff is super friendly and the wines were amazing. Had two flights and the chocolate raspberry port. Definitely recommend the port for sure.“

“Went for breakfast this time. Amazing special of banana chocolate chip pancakes. The crab omelet was full of lump meat! The cinnamon French toast was so good we almost didn't get a picture. The Hillbilly is a fried bologna breakfast sandwich from my husband's childhood, he said it was delicious! The home fries were a miss though, get a different side.“

“My husband and I love coming here in the morning for breakfast! I love all of their foods, but my favorite is the parfait. The fruit is so fresh and yummy. The granola is made there and delicious! I highly recommend going here. Later in the day, it can get busy, so be prepared to wait a little. Also, my husband loves the campfire hot chocolate!“

“Good people, great brews. Their St Michael's Ale is a fantastic lager, a staple around town at the best eateries. Their Vienna Lager was one of the more interesting ones I've ever tasted. Not sure it's really Vienna-style, but quite tasty.“

“Visiting my daughter, came up from the south, consider myself a bbq aficionado, the food here is a legit as bbq comes. Many times bbq hides itself behind the sauce, not so here, ribs spoke for themselves without any added. Mac and Cheese as good as I have eaten, manager that was working 4/6/24 am (name escapes me) was as hospitable as could be, not always the case in the food service industry these days. Wish I had a Rude BBQ in my hometown.“

“Just stayed at the Oxford Inn and had an amazing experience. The owners Scott and Jeanne were fantastic. Scott even went way beyond for us and gave a short private tour of Oxford in his car. I am having knee surgery soon and didn’t want me to walk that far! The Inn is convenient and charming. Relaxed environment to just get away. Thank you for making our experience so great! We will see you soon!“
