“The clam chowder at Old Hickory Steakhouse is quite honestly some of the best I have ever had and was absolutely phenomenal from the very first bite. What made the experience even more remarkable was the exceptional service and leadership from Alex. It is immediately obvious that he runs this restaurant with excellence pride and meticulous attention to every detail. His dedication to creating a first class experience for every guest shines through in every aspect of the restaurant. Rochelle was equally outstanding and provided warm attentive and genuinely exceptional service throughout my visit. The hospitality professionalism and care shown by both Alex and Rochelle made this one of the most memorable dining experiences I have had in a very long time. Old Hickory Steakhouse is operating at an incredibly high level and Alex deserves tremendous credit for that.“

“Our Uber driver recommended St. Anselm, after the restaurant we planned on was closed. What a happy misfortune! From the quick phone call, answered by Lily, who cheerily said she could accommodate our party, to our amazing waiter Joe, the delicious food, wonderful atmosphere; this place is a DO NOT miss! I’m sad we live in FL and can’t be regulars!! St. Anselm, whatever you are doing, keep it up!!!“

“First time eating at STK steakhouse food was fantastic. Our waiter Jordan was one of the best waitresses. I believe I’ve ever had in my whole life. She was just a bundle of joy and a ray of sunshine. A sweet, wonderful person service was great food great five star all the way.“

“My friend celebrated her birthday here and they treated us so well. Daniel gave us ice cream for our cake and 2 bottles of champagne that were “just lying around”!? what a wonderful staff. Lola our server was so sweet and attentive. We love it here!!!“

“The staff, service and atmosphere is phenomenal! Soon as we walked into the restaurant, we were greeted by Keith, I think he’s one of the managers, and seated promptly by a really respectful gentleman. Upon being seated, Keith recommended “Keith Wings” which were DELICIOUS and served to perfection. Besides the great food, the staff were very attentive and made sure we were satisfied. Overall great experience“

“An absolute gem!! Food was delicious and cooked perfectly. The service was quick and very friendly. You can tell this is a family affair. The kitchen appeared spotless and well run. We came all the way from Baltimore and plan on making this a regular stop. My wife and I split the wedge salad and the 32oz cowboy ribeye. It was perfection.“

“Epic SmokeHouse – Arlington, VA Overall Rating: 8/10 Parking lot upgrades at the Pentagon brought G-FORCE to Arlington, but we didn’t expect to stumble upon BBQ royalty just a mile down the road at Epic SmokeHouse. Let’s just say… the name fits. We kicked things off with the App Sampler—and every bite hit like a flavor freight train. Smoked wings so tender they felt like they’d just left the hog pen—crispy skin, juicy interior, absolute perfection. Burnt ends? Melt-in-your-mouth with just enough sauce to whisper "I’m fancy" without screaming it. And the Kalua Pig Rolls… I still don’t know what’s in them, but I want to shake the chef’s hand (or hug him). Then came the showstopper: Brisket Poutine. Hand-cut fries crisped to golden excellence, smothered in rich brown butter gravy, melty cheese curds, and that sweet smoky brisket—topped with green onions and sesame seeds for that crunch-and-pop finale. “Stop at medium rare for brunch out of town and had a great time. From the ambience and the food and our waiter Winston, all fantastic. Ask for Winston when you come in, he is very communicative when your food is coming out and if you need any other drinks, he definitely takes an extra mile making sure his people are good. If you want great food and a great experience with fast service, definitely check out medium rare and ask for Winston! Top tier“

“We went here while on vacation in DC. Did a reservation in advance. We have 3 people in our group. We ordered calamari for appetizer. A couple of us ordered a 4 course meal for $60/person, and 1 ordered salmon with shrimp.
Firts order: steak salad, mashed potatoes, 6 oz filet with 3 shrimps on top, and cheese cake.
Second order: ceasar salad, brussels sprouts, 6 oz filet with 3 shrimps on top, and chcolate cheese cake.
Third order: grilled salmon with shrimp and spinach.
The steak (Medium well) was melting in our mouths. The shrimp was perfectly seasoned, mashed potatoes was very creamy, the spinach complimented the salmon so well, and the salmon was cooked to perfection. The calamari was crunchy, but we did not like the sweet sauce.“

“Usually when I eat at a restaurant, I do not pay much attention to the sides as i am not a veggie lover. But I must say that while the ribeye was great, I was even more taken by the roasted carrots, roasted maintain mushrooms, and the roasted brussel sprouts.“

“I took my parents to celebrate Farher’s day at this location. The waitress was helpful with ordering food that in our favor. The dishes we had were tasty—I recommend shrimps spicy chicken as appetizers, beef filet and ribeye our main courses were delicious.“

“The dinner was only "marred" by the entre trying to be serviced while we were still eating our appetizer. We could not believe that a restaurant of this quality would allow a service to bring out the main course while we were only half way through the appetizer. What does this mean? Well, in the states, it seems as though they are always trying to rush you through the meal to get the table free, but this restaurant does not have waiting lines like bonefish grill or those other type restaurants.“
“This is on the lower level of a Ronald Reagan building and with it being a federal building you do have to go through security. After walking half the day already, I was ready for a warm lunch. The Philly Cheese Steak was really good. It had great flavor and was cooked exactly the way I ordered it. The fries that came with it were fine as well. The food was quick and ready to go in a few short minutes.
Overall, it certainly was a decent lunch. It did the purpose of recharging me to be ready for the second half of sight seeing.“

“Great nice and hot tasty food, love the taste of the fresh food with white rice. But hopefully we can see more improvement with the food quality and the atmosphere. when is Winter is freezing “as hell” needs improvement soon but overall the experience is very good loving family owned business polite staff friendly and supportive. “My daughter celebrated her 17th birthday here. The host was the best I have ever in my life thus far, and I travel a lot and have various restaurants experiences. He was amazing! She had 12 17 yo guest and they all agreed. The food was delicious! The host was very accommodating when the food didn’t come out fast enough due to the number of guest. The food and service was so good, that my daughter had food delivered to the house the next day! Highly recommended. I didn’t sit with them because… I’m not that type of parent, but I waited in the lobby area just in case I was needed and they offered me wine and even provided ice cream for me as I waited. I won’t post photos because the kids are underaged but everything was perfect! Thank you. They did a great job! We will be back (the adults not kids this time) lol.“

“I used the curbside service on 4/22. The food is always correct and good. However the issue is with customers and some employees using to-go curbsude spots as actual parking spots. This is the only issue with parking. If you choose to go pick up. You may have to park in front of a car in a to go spot or provide a general area for your food to be brought to you.“

“I order platters every December for our amnual Xmas party work. I ordered 6 wing platters and 9 full racks of ribs on xmas eve. The order was over $500. Everything was good. The only thing not 100% but still acceptable were the mild wing platters which could've been browned a bit more. Co workers ate hearty and good. They did good“
