“We got lunch here for the first time today. Wish we had tried Gilroy's Cafe sooner! I got a garden salad with grilled chicken and the boss got an italian cold cut. The food was excellent, as was the service! Brien is so personable and friendly. The location is also easy to get to with ample parking. When I pulled into the parking spot, I noticed a small vegetable garden right next to the entrance of the cafe, with beautiful ripe tomatoes on the vines. Sure enough the salad and the sub both had fresh tomatoes from that garden, and they were superb!

If I had one suggestion, it would be to get the website and Facebook pages up and running. I noticed some great specials on the chalkboard behind the counter. It would be great to be able to see the daily specials online before calling in our order!

“I went here last night and online it says they are open until 9:30. I get there and park and it says 9:01, so I figure I have plenty of time. However, I realized they actually closed at 9 so I went to turn around and figure something else out. That’s when I see the familiar gentleman inside waving me in as he recognized me to come and order. He gets out what I normally order and even turns back on the oven to toast my sandwich for me (twice because he knows my order.) This subway is doing something right with these people. This location is inside a gas station, so there is no seating available, making it strictly a carry-out location. Additionally, the employee preparing the sandwiches was not very friendly and did not acknowledge me until the end of the transaction, he was curt but professional enough. I had such a great experience at Jimmy John’s thanks to Jennifer! I’m pregnant, and my baby and I were CRAVING a cold-cut sandwich, so I had to give Jimmy John’s a try.

My sandwich tasted like it was made with love and care! I mentioned that I was pregnant, and Jennifer was so thoughtful, even suggesting alternatives that might be easier on my digestion during pregnancy. I also told her how much I love onions, and she made sure to add plenty of extra onions just how I like them!

“It's the only place that's open in my area 24/7 only half of the employees can understand what you are saying which does make it hard when trying to build my sandwich the way I want it but otherwise it's a good little place for a late night bite.
I saw others comments about the homeless people just ignore them and you will be fine they will not do anything because there is always a security guard that stands outside by them so they can't cause terrible

Vegetarian options: I think it is labeled what is and what isn't idk I eat real food sorry but I'm pretty sure I saw a little sign above what things where veg.

Parking: You can park next to the subway or on st.paul St. But on St.Paul you'll have to pay but I think the pay cuts off at a curtain time not sure I usually just walk there

Wheelchair accessibility: Yes there is a very easy to access wheelchair ramp it's kinda tight so idk if it'll fit no scooter type of chair but a basic roll n go would be fine“
