“Vibrant place, wide selection of food. Spacious, seating is ample. I'd rate higher if it weren't for the aggressive and nasty bathroom attendant who repeatedly tried to pick a fight with me. Maybe it's a hostile work environment and she has to make herself feel empowered by taking it out on complete strangers. I have no idea. If you have to use the restroom, keep your head down and get in and out as quickly as possible.“

“There appeared to be only one person on duty at the time. She was extremely slow and appeared to be very distracted by the outside of the building. I approached the counter and began to give my order. The person on duty left the counter and proceeded to get a chair to prop open the doorway.
As I ate my sandwich the person on duty did this again with another customer. It was rather weird.“

“I give 5 stars, only because the guy Samuel prepares the Subways very good, professionally, and fast. What you ask he does greatly.Unfortunately the older small guy in that location is not good and rude. Once he didn’t want to get Italian bread with herbs, he said they didn’t have it but when I decided to leave he found one and he always puts just few vegetables if you ask to put more onions he refuses and tells you that they only have those not more. This location is very close to me when I come and see that guy is working I usually don’t order and go to another location located 3 miles from there.“

“I live in Indiana and was tasked with ordering food for the reception after my dad's memorial service at Charlestown in Catonsville, MD. We were going to have someone pick up sandwiches from Costco but it would mean they would not be able to attend the service. I called some other places but received poor customer service. I remembered how much my dad liked Subway. My siblings took him there often. So, I called what I thought was the Subway next to the Giant by Charlestown but apparently I called a different franchise down the road and I'm thankful. I talked to a lovely woman who said she would have the owner contact me ASAP which he did! Peter (P.J.) was patient with me and helpful from beginning to end. He delivered exactly what was ordered and on time. P.J. responded to my texts and answered my questions promptly and provided the best customer service I've experienced in a long time. He really took a load off my shoulders and I am grateful to him. I highly recommend you support his franchise!!!“

“I’ve been to this location twice for myself and once for my job(we all ordered from there) and the quality of the food is amazing, tue prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is family friendly. Clean and smelling good from all the food being cooked.“

“Grabbed a breakfast sandwich here and wasn't disappointed! Fast service and the sandwich was great. There was also a good variety of beverages in the cooler and other snacks on the shelf. I did have to check other reviewers pictures to find it as it can be easy to just walk by and not notice, don't miss out though!“

“Treated the kids out to dinner. This was our first time eating at Charley’s. Walking through the door, Sophie greeted us with pleasant vibes… almost as if we were her regulars. Ordering process was fast and easy and food didn’t take long at all. Everything tasted hot and fresh. The cheesesteaks had the perfect portion of steak and the meat had a really good taste, seasoned well. The bacon cheese fries were phenomenal. For dessert, we had these little cinnamon & sugar bites which was served hot and fresh… just wish it came with icing to dip em in. Washed everything down with a mango and watermelon lemonade. Both were delicious and had real fruit pieces in it, freakin awesome! Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning in the near future, but this time I think I’ll get double meat on my footlong steak sub. “I had the pleasure of being at Charleys Philly Steaks on their grand opening day and enjoy their fantastic fries with cheese, flavorful wings, and refreshing lemonade. The staff's warmth and friendliness elevated the experience, making it a memorable visit on their special opening day!“

“We got lunch here for the first time today. Wish we had tried Gilroy's Cafe sooner! I got a garden salad with grilled chicken and the boss got an italian cold cut. The food was excellent, as was the service! Brien is so personable and friendly. The location is also easy to get to with ample parking. When I pulled into the parking spot, I noticed a small vegetable garden right next to the entrance of the cafe, with beautiful ripe tomatoes on the vines. Sure enough the salad and the sub both had fresh tomatoes from that garden, and they were superb!

If I had one suggestion, it would be to get the website and Facebook pages up and running. I noticed some great specials on the chalkboard behind the counter. It would be great to be able to see the daily specials online before calling in our order!

“We pulled up 3 minutes after the establishment closed, but we saw the open light on from the road. The gentleman who opened the door to tell us kindly they were closed. As we walked away he opened the door and said to us come in and we will take care of you. We were returning off of a long commute from VA and everything was pretty much closed to grab a bite to eat. “It's the only place that's open in my area 24/7 only half of the employees can understand what you are saying which does make it hard when trying to build my sandwich the way I want it but otherwise it's a good little place for a late night bite.
I saw others comments about the homeless people just ignore them and you will be fine they will not do anything because there is always a security guard that stands outside by them so they can't cause terrible

Vegetarian options: I think it is labeled what is and what isn't idk I eat real food sorry but I'm pretty sure I saw a little sign above what things where veg.

Parking: You can park next to the subway or on st.paul St. But on St.Paul you'll have to pay but I think the pay cuts off at a curtain time not sure I usually just walk there

Wheelchair accessibility: Yes there is a very easy to access wheelchair ramp it's kinda tight so idk if it'll fit no scooter type of chair but a basic roll n go would be fine“

“I ordered a Philly Cheesesteak from the website. I walked over from making a delivery to Giant Foods. I couldn't find it at first because it is a smaller set of connected buildings within a larger set of connected buildings in the shopping center. The place was clean. The cashier was also making the food. My Food was ready at the specified time. The food was hot and delicious. There is plenty of parking because of being in a shopping center.“

“I just had the best sub I’ve ever eaten. I went in because I wanted a good hoagie. I was on the phone talking about what I was looking for in a sandwich and the gentleman working overheard me and suggested I try the Bootlegger assuring me he would hook it up …OMG. It was incredible! I wish I got his name to properly honor him but I will be back & hope to see him there so he can work his magic on another hoagie for me. “I'm honestly not a fan of the chain - they tend to be overpriced, understaffed, and the food is hit or miss. That said, this location seems to be a bit above average - perhaps because of its location to downtown Baltimore and the touristy inner harbor. Grabbed a few sandwiches the past few years when staying at nearby hotels for work and it's a decent spot and the staff is usually polite, but not always super friendly or fast.“
