“My family and I have been coming here for years and the service and food have always been phenomenal! The servers even took it upon themselves to remember our faces and orders. The fish is always fresh and the staff always make us feel at home.“
“What a wonderful dinner we just had at YamaChen's. it was a lovely experience from beginning to end. Relaxing atmosphere, amazing staff, and of course, the sushi was divine. Thank you so much, for a wonderful, interesting, and tasty meal!“
“This place, definitely deserves a five star ratingAmazing food, very fresh sushi ? , very nice ambiance and the service is excellent⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ star RatingGive this place a try and I’m sure you will definitely love this place We recommend the Sushi Boat ? and some ?Parking: Free parking and lots of parking available“
“Great local sushi place with many options. The tempura was fantastic and the specialty rolls were very tasty! Amazing service and sake selection, perfect for a date night. If sushi is not your thing, they also have ramen, yakisoba, and Korean dishes. Highly “
“This place is very spacious and the decorations really pop. Very clean to. The service was very good and they are quick and friendly as well as accommodating. I can't really recommend much bc we ordered all over the menu and everything came out delicious. The portions are pretty big too for sushi, the fish to rice ratio is very good. On a bit more pricier side but the quality and portions make up for it.“
“We love our new sushi place. We enjoyed our valentine dinner at Samaria Sushi, our favorite place. It is best sushi place in town. Service was amazing and food was great and atmosphere was perfect. Everything was perfect!!! I totally recommend Samaria Sushi especially tuna hand roll. Tuna was fresh, freshly caught tuna.“
“I was thinking about sushi and remembered Red Bar Sushi in Leesburg. Ordered the MGM roll which was fresh and tasty, the fish is fresh and plentiful. I ordered a few nigiri pieces. The yellowtail and mackerel were really fresh and nice sized pieces. I think the specialty rolls are good size. The service is excellent and really helpful. I am going back next week!“
“The sushi is fresh and the kitchen follows food allergy restrictions without charging you for omitting ingredients. Food was really good! I did not arrive during a busy period; so, I received my order very quickly. Customer service was excellent. Very friendly! Small place but cozy.“
“The service is super quick, and the food is well worth the prices. I love the fluffiness of their onigiri--it's a simple snack, but one that keeps me coming back! The food is flavorful and has a really fun presentation for dining in. Lovely plates and bowls and pretty cool chopsticks. 1.6 starsThe atmosphere for dine-in eating is nice too. It's in a Lotte supermarket as part of the "epiQ Food Hall". Somehow though, the space has a vibe entirely of its own, separate from the hustle and bustle of noisy shoppers. You can definitely have a comfortable meal dining in with your friends, or a nice one-on-one lunch with your partner. 1.6 stars. If I had to detract full points from a 5 star review, it would be on price. The prices are not bad for what you get, but they could stand to be a dollar or two cheaper on some of the larger meals. I think that would really round this place out as a 5 star spot for quick Japanese food that doesn't skimp on portions, but also brings a quality meal to the table.Overall, I'd say 4.8 stars.“
“I go to this place pretty often, and always have great sushi! I like to get the selection of sashimi, but everything I've had is good, and always quickly prepared for pickup. Definitely recommend this small place, for pickup or dine-in“
“Very Nice restaurant. The food was great as well as the staff. They were fast and very professional. I was expecting to share the area with other families, like most Hibachi restaurants, but the area we sat in was just our family. This place is perfect for family celebrations.“
“For the past 20 years, my family has visited Kobe every New Years Eve, some birthdays and occasional impromptu dinners, on average, 4 times a year. We've have never had a poor experience and always find the food of good quality and delicious. Some reviews speak poorly of the rice without veggies however my family prefers it without veggies. I generally order the shrimp plate, my wife the filet mignon and my two boys the hibachi chicken; occasionally with a small salad dressing to go for salads at home. Love the food and experience.“
“Really cute Japanese restaurant! There's mostly Japanese fair (hibachi, bento, sushi, etc.) But there are a couple other Asian favorites (like sesame chicken). Parking is a little confusing, but the parking garage seems to always have spaces!“
“Brought our 6 year old grandson here for his first time. Day before Valentine's Day and had the whole place to ourselves. Sushi and hibachi food was all very good and the chef was entertaining for our grandson (typical routine but still very good and engaging). The restaurant is clean especially compared to other hibachi type restaurants we have been to. Prices were as expected. We will definitely come back again“
“Good lunch! A little pricey for lunch. $25.99 a person and that does not include a soft drink that’s an additional $2.75. What you do get is complete made to order sushi, hibachi, soups, appetizers, and desserts. You do not have to go wait in line, you do not have to be trying to serve yourself and battle with conditions of other people, who may be not the cleanest in the world sharing your access to a buffet. You go in you look at the menu, you tell your waitress what you want, and they bring it. We tried everything from tempura, shrimp appetizers, combination, yakisoba, noodles, multiple kinds of sushi, rolls, and even a slice of “cheesecake“ for dessert. My daughter and I were happy. I like spicy food she does not so we each got her own kinds of rolls. Our waitress was very nice and answered all of our questions. The food came out hot, thoroughly quickly, and everything was well seasoned and as described. I’m not sure what negative reviews are out there but on that day, we had a really good meal. The atmosphere is not great. It’s not dirty, it just is decorated strange I guess it’s a way to explain it.the staff that we had and that we dealt with was really top-notch. She was a delightful young woman, and really was kind about making sure we were happy and inviting us back the next time we’re in town. We order a lot of sushi places when we travel because it’s not something we can get where we live. This was one that we would definitely go to again. One last thing. $25.99 a person sounds like a lot for an adult at lunch until you price what sushi rolls are at most restaurants in this area. One place sushi roll was $18.99 at dinner and that was just a sushi roll that was nothing with it.Vegetarian options: Definitely vegetarian options. They’re also options just for fish eaters as well. Everything is made to order so if there needs to be any dietary substitutions, they were very willing to work with us.Parking: Big parking lot with lots of parking and many handicap spotsKid-friendliness: Because they offer so many small plates and combinations, there were a lot of families in there with younger kids, and everyone seems to be eating very wellWheelchair accessibility: Plenty of handicap parking, very easy to get into, and most of the seating options can accommodate a wheelchair“
“I found House of Poolesville while looking for a bar to grab a drink and get some food and watch a few games with a friend. The restaurant has a few nice gardens on the grounds and the restaurant has a bar area and a sit down dining area. We sat at the bar and were greeted immediately. I ordered a few drinks and some sushi of the menu and my friend had two Asian dishes. While looking at some of the plants outside, a lady at the restaurant asked if we wanted to take some flowers home, which I thought was very nice. The food, drinks, and service were very good and I will stop in if I find myself in Poolesville again“
