“My only mistake was being in a hurry when I gave this place a try for the first time. Went safe with a pit beef, and that was tender and tasty. While eating in the parking lot the owner offered me a few ribs. They were phenomenal. I’m coming back hungry but this time with plenty of time to kill. Can’t wait to explore the menu of this dynamite BBQ stand. Guys working there are absolute pitmasters.“
“Everything about our visit was wonderful. The customer service was excellent and the food was outstanding. The food at this location far exceeds that of any other Mission location that we have visited. On top of it all, we were treated to sweet potato pie, which is among the tastiest ever. For us, the 20 mile trip to Ellicott City is well worth it, despite passing other locations along the way.“
“This place is 100% the best pit beef within a 45 min radius. Anyone who rates their food below 5 stars is a straight liar looking for attention and has NO TASTE in food.. This place is CASH ONLY but there is an ATM in the liquor store next door. They also have one on site I believe. “Terrific Korean BBQ. We got marinated beef ribs, skirt steak, bibimbap, scallion pancakes, dumplings, sundubu. The meat was extremely flavorful. Highly recommend marinated beef ribs. And everything else... even dumplings... was executed really well. This is a busy but welcoming restaurant and I can't wait to be back.“

I ordered a customizable poke bowl that had spicy tuna as the main protein with a bunch of sides and delicious sauces. We had the gyoza as well and the Hawaiian bbq short ribs. “I have been going to Smokey's since it was the Canopy. I went a couple of weeks ago and it wasn't up to par as it used to be. Not sure if it was because the dude that used to run isn't there anymore or if it was an off day for the staff. I just got food from there again today and it was definitely delicious mind you I am totally picky about my food so it was definitely a 5 out of 5 good today!!!!!!! “The best thing we had here was the Combination Seafood Jhim. Very good variety of seafood and enormous portion. The leftovers were good for numerous meals afterwards. Great variety of banchan as well. The BBQ was very good and I enjoyed the different sauces they had, but I would say it was about on par with the Korean BBQ around where we live in MoCo. Same with the Japchae, although I will say the meat portion was noticeably better here.The only negative here was the service wasn't perfect. The restaurant was very busy on a Sunday evening and the waitresses were working very hard. They mostly took care of us very well but there was an order of water that never came, as well as a refill of banchan that never came. This was not the end of the world as we had the complimentary tea and the other food was more than enough, but this at least will make me reconsider coming back during peak times.Overall, I would recommend this place and the Combination Seafood Jhim was worth the drive from MoCo.“
“I love going here. However this was the first time I had to pay for corn bread which I never knew they charged for it. Nobody ever charged me before and I guess the person serving it heard me question it and ended up giving me 2 pieces. I paid for it I just didn't know they charged. I was just taken back. Bathrooms are clean and my daughter actually behaved. I love the music too. The shrimp was surprisingly good.“

“We were searching for a late dinner place on a Friday night and saw this new Korean BBQ soft opening and decided to try it. We were so delighted with the food, the service and the kindness they showed us even though it was already late and almost closing time! Our waiter, Chris, was very kind and attentive to our table and continued to offer more Banchans whenever we would eat up any of those delicious side dishes. We ordered the combination which already included beef and pork cuts, so we got to taste both meats. One very unique and new for us in a Korean BBQ place is the green sauce. Whatever it is, it was delicious, a little spicy but very good. Chris also offered to bring us the traditional sesame oil sauce which is a must! He also offered more lettuce every time we would eat up the bunch. I really appreciate that they did not even rush us, even though it was very late. Definitely going to be one of my new favorite places for a family dinner! I do have one suggestion to the management: change the cut of the pork belly into thinner slices. Pork needs to be cook more well done than beef, especially pork belly. The thick slices take too long to cook on the inside. Anyways, we are definitely coming back here!“
“I have returned to this first-rate carry-out twice now. Only the best ingredients and quality food is used for the lemon-pepper wings, fried rice, chicken sandwich and homemade potato chips (plain and barbequed!) Give your taste buds a treat with this perfectly seasoned food. I ordered for a specific time and it was ready when I appeared even though many others ordered for the same time. The two chefs are the ultimate professionals. Covid measures are in place. It is worth looking behind Pizza Hut in Dogwood Station.“

“Best ribs that I have ever had in South Carolina. I purchased 2 rib combo's and a brisket sandwich combo. The food was fresh and the ribs were cooked to perfection. The service was fast and friendly. I will definitely stop again! If you're looking for some good tasting ribs, then be sure to stop when you see SC BBQ & Catering!!“
