“Very nice place on a convenient corner, featuring excellent coffees and superb cuisine! Shop is clean and tastefully ordered and arranged. Baristas were friendly and kind, and provided good service. The first time I actually “liked” coffee was while in Sweden 20 yrs ago… Being in town for work and errands and seeing “Fika” was a sign for me to swing in for a cup and a bite. Swedish cardamom bun is not a cinnamon bun, but uniquely as delicious in its own right. Over the years I’ve come to love and appreciate the differences of color and tastes and styles across the globe of God’s art palette. Everything here was fresh, and garnished with care and excellence. Breakfast sandwich panini = gourmet… housemade focaccia bread adds just the right distinction for inherent local taste not easily replicated. Come out and try it!Ps. I was very excited to see they have housemade banana pudding & it lived up to the hype! Chunks of real banana with creamy well flavored pudding and fluffy cream. “I usually don't take time to review places, but I had to after visiting this little shop. I ordered 2 specials from their New Year's menu, and they were phenomenal. The crab omelet was seasoned perfectly, and the croissant had no shortage of sauce and filling. Perfection. My daughter also ordered 2 cupcakes, and they were outstanding as well. I will def be coming back to see what else this place has to offer. I ate everything, otherwise I would have photos.“
“Why is there never baked items in the showcase. You have to ask what do they have. I asked for a sweet potato pie. They go in the back to get it. It would be nice to see the choices of baked goods. Also, it's unnerving to have to ring the bell to come in when there is a person inside with a apron on just staring at you. BTW the sweet potato pie was amazing. Just the way you have to go about it to get it.“

“The food, tea and service here is amazing! I love Main Street in Sykesville and as others have said, the tea room was warm and cozy. I loved the relaxing background music...I felt like I was enjoying a tea service at a spa. We chose the Royal Tea and started with the very extensive tea menu. We were served a small appetizer followed by a fresh soup with salad, the next course included scones and clotted cream and then fresh fruit. While the portions were small, there were so many courses that we were starting to get pretty full when our server brought out a beautiful 3-tier presentation of tea sandwiches and various treats. We actually wound up needing to bring some home! Everything was delicious and we never felt rushed in the slightest. I love supporting local businesses and it's even better when that local business turns out to be this outstanding! I will definitely be back.“

I am a professional singer and this is my go-to place every time I come close to my son's home this is our stop. We love the food we usually get the tacos but this time I got the menudo and loved it as well .. we love the staff. they make us feel like family.“
