“Stopped by on a Friday morning to try their baked goods. There was only one lady managing the business. She seemed to be both cooking and serving as the receptionist.

I got two donuts and two muffins. They were amazing! The cronut was crunchy on top with a crisp layer of glaze and, tender on the bottom. The blueberry donut was cake-based, full of flavor without being overly saccharine. My favorite was the cranberry muffin! It was huge, moist, fresh, and loaded with a decend amount of cranberries.

I'd consider to be back and try their other offerings!“

In 6 years I've seen Atwater's with a great track record for hiring and training members of its team. But I'd like to credit two in particular today. Joey, the new manager settled into his role quickly just this year and is very engaging, friendly, and happy to help customers directly alongside his team. “Walking in, the light music set the atmosphere for a good morning bakery item for breakfast, and a later day snack. The presentaion was lovely. The staff was very helpful in helping me to select what my taste was feeling. I picked up some type of cream cheese filled pastry with a sweet red bean filling under the cream cheese. Perfect for a protein energy boost. It was quite delicious, you could taste the real butter...I really enjoyed my visit.
They have fresh coffee brewed. A gentleman was sipping his coffee and reading his paper. This was a lovely experience. God bless LA Boulangerie.“

“This store saved a graduation gift from us that DoorDash totally messed up. Let me explain, We ordered from Va thru the Crumbl app and was delivered thru DoorDash well the DoorDash driver left the cookies on the doorstep and well the ants had a nice dinner. So when our graduate came home to her gift she got a surprise of ants on her beautiful cookies. So when she called us we were so upset. So we called the store and they called their owner. The options are a bit overwhelming for a first timer, but when I told him it was my first time in- he patiently guided me through the options. He told me about his favorite, the Carmel Apple Pie and a couple of the other best sellers to help narrow it down.

The pound cake slices and muffins are moist and delicate, with the perfect amount of sweetness. Pastries are great too, with the cream - should I call it edible clouds - being the star!! I am very particular when it comes to whipped cream, since the perfect cream constitutes a fine balance between density, greasiness, and sweetness. And this bakery has the perfect balance!

“Lydianne's Soft Pretzels is to die for!

I am not a huge pretzel fan but for these pretzels I could eat them every day!
The dough is freshly made, soft. The breading is a bit sweeter than you would typically taste in the average pretzel. They have a variety of ways that you can have your pretzel. Breakfast themed logs in the morning with bacon, sausage, eggs, etc inside. Some sweet options like cinnamon and some savory.

They also have lemonade and tea to drink.

The service is quick. There is barely any wait in between ordering and receiving your items.

As soon as you walk into the Dutch market they will be the first vendor to the right.

“Chela was able to turn my order around quickly. Payment and pick-up were a breeze. I was looking for a bakery that could provide specialty cupcakes for a prom but didn't realize how challenging the request would be. The cupcakes were much larger than I expected (more like muffins). My guests enjoyed the icing but found it difficult to eat the entire muffin. The presentation was also a bit disappointing but served its purpose. I purchased 2 dozen and still have an entire box left (last photo).“
