“Yooo!!! I had to leave a review and I didn’t finish the meal yet. I live down the street and I regret I haven’t came here sooner. Wow yall got the Mac n Cheese right, it was on point. jerk wings flavorful with kick rice and peas was perfection. Good portion for the price can’t lie, found my new Jamaican Spot and I’m grateful it’s minutes away. I don’t leave reviews but the meal was that good can’t wait to try the Curry. Bravo 👏🏿“

“I happened to be at The Renegade two weeks ago. I love country music so I thought it could be a great idea to show my brother this restaurant. We came from Spain and discovered this place! What we didn’t know is that we would meet Paul, who took care of us and “tour us around” their menu and options. The food was delicious and healthy as well! Artichokes, hummus, cauliflower and the chicken were amazing! My brother is vegetarian so they prepared a pad thai for him and he really enjoyed it. After dinner, was time to look everybody dancing on the floor… With the perfect atmosphere! I wish I could post some pictures!! “Wine market, bar, small plates joint in a good location. Stopped in for a flight and light bite on a Saturday night. The downstairs bar/market was packed, lots of energy, and buzzing. We were upstairs because we had a reservation. Decidedly quieter up there only a couple of other folks dining, the back room had a large party (15) cozy with lighting in the right place. We started with a flight and narrowed in on Pomerol by the glass. The Somm was friendly, knowledgeable, and made a good suggestion for our final glass, a Cahors. A licorice-bomb that we really liked. On the food side, we were very basic, fries with homemade ketchup; French onion soup, with cheddar and a nice bread on the side; and roasted/fried cauliflower with yogurt, pine nuts, and pickled raisins, which was a little overdone. We didn't venture much further on the food menu, but we were really here for the wine anyway. On our way out, we perused the markets but weren't able to find that Cahors in a bottle server/somm. sensing our dilemma, procured a bottle for us from the back. Nice experience, I'd explore more by the glass options here and they have some interesting finds in the wine market.“

“When ordering delivery via door dash you can’t get the cheese pizza without paying extra for the cheese. Pizza was good but this added cheese ($2) made it almost too cheesy. Garlic knots not buttery/oily/greasy like other places which I appreciated.“

“Went for happy hour. Appetizers were really good. Truffle fries were on point! Hot, fresh, delicious! I had shrimp taco which was good. It was $7 for 2 taco.
Nice beer selection. I love IPA, they had several to choose from.
The only caveat I had was at 7pm they started trivia. Trivia wasn't the issue, the issue was the person on the mic was extremely loud. We weren't playing trivia, we were more interested in talking to each other. The loudness was too much. We left and went down the street.“

Kid-friendliness: They have kids sliders and chicken tenders, just not seen on the main menu I think. They’re always great to our kids. And kids generally love rock music, which is what goes on here. Go before 8-ish, I think bands play after 9 or so.“

My whine is about the wine, which in all categories is mediocre, expensive for what it is, and almost never changes, no matter how many nice requests we've made to the staff. “I want to start my review with saying that I have not actually been to Pizza Pie Me, I've only ordered delivery so I can't comment on the atmosphere of the resturant. I thought that the delivery time was good considering that I ordered at 7PM on a Saturday, when I called and ordered they told me 50 to 55 minutes(which is about what I expected) the delivery driver arrived in about 35 minutes. What I ordered was basically an order of the Chicken Tenders and a Calzone. The chicken tenders were a decent size, cooked perfectly, moist and had a good crunch with a coating that didn't over power the chicken itself, I would suspect that they were made in house. The Calzone was not only large(the box in the photo is 12 inches square)but very good as well. Crust was soft but firm enough to hold up to the ingreadients. Fillings were flavorful and a good quality. The only negative criticism I have about Pizza Pie Me is that I wanted to replace the red sauce in my Calzone with ranch to basically create a Chicken Bacon Ranch calzone but they wouldn't do it so I ordered light on the tomato sauce and it came out very good, but not exactly what I wanted. I suspect the reason they wouldn't replace tomato sauce with Ranch is because they probably don't have Ranch in bulk, I didn't see any Ranch options for pizza or calzones and when I got Ranch for my Tenders it was in pre-made Ken's cups. Over all I thought that the food was good delivery time was good and the ordering experience was good, I will definatly order again if in the area again.“

Seating in the space minimal, but rooftop of Union market gives more space.

Parking: Park in the neighborhood and walk. Parking lot can be full.“

“I've been attending Emissary x Pergamino (on 20th St) for nearly 6 years, including moves in and out of town, visits back, and finally resettling nearby. Across that time, and a range of baristas, the espresso, food, and atmosphere have remained consistently great. It is a cozy space to work or meet, and the staff is always friendly and effective. It's a great asset to the neighborhood.“
