“Blown away by how great our event was. Long time patron moved to Florida 6 years ago. Looked for a venue to host a surprise 65th bday party for my wife with 35 attendees. “I really liked the food. Unfortunately, I dont have a picture. I took Chicken katsu and my friend ordered bulgogi. chicken katsu was super crispy and tasty. I wish they gave a little bit more sauce to go with it. I felt it wasn't enough. Banchan's were really good. I liked the warm water they severed at the beginning. I ordered kimbap to go and it was really good and the roll was pretty big. My kids loved it ! Definitely going back to try more. “Nearly every Saturday for the past 4 years we have been going to Ernestos. Yes, we are the old couple that sits in the same booth, orders the same food, and same drinks lol. Very exciting. “Very welcoming place. Unpretentious. Drinks were delish. Espresso martini! We love seeing people of varied cultures, just hanging and talking with each other. I was reluctant to get the ribs because I read a review saying they were dry. Mine were delicious. It wasn’t a saucy rib, and that’s how I like it. I’m sure you could ask for sauce. Husband had steak and rice. The staff is very accommodating. The onion rings were great. Wish I had some left! Plenty of TV’s to see a game in the bar area. There is also a dining room area away from the tv/bar area. Comparing this experience to a Navy Yard sports bar yesterday, we enjoyed today’s Bare Bones meal over yesterday’s DC sports bar hands down. Our server was great. Friendly, quick and respectful. It was like going to your friend’s house for a meal. We’ll be back…Definitely to watch some football this season. I’ll have to try something else next time to see if their other dishes fare as well.“
