“What a welcoming little Ethiopian coffee shop! Once a market, Dire Coffee opened in 2020. Family-owned, Dire Coffee serves Ethiopian coffee beans in all different ways- black coffee, lattes, and more. I ordered the Pumpkin Spice Latte. It came out hot and strong. The woman behind the register, who's the wife of the owner, asked how sweet I wanted my latte. She was very kind!
To eat, they have a variety of food. I ordered one sambusa and it was filled with lentils. It hit the spot!
The space itself is small, but comes with many places to sit. There's a small parking lot out front.“

“Takoma Bev Co is the neighborhood gem where great coffee meets greater people. Davis serves up precision with a smile, Artur brings chill mastery to every pour, and Eli? Pure charisma, while James brings welcoming energy. The staff is jovial, the vibe is unmatched, and the drinks hit every time. Let’s not forget about those killer gluten free options. A big shout out to the back of the house for consistent great sandwiches #italiancoldcut (if you know, you know) and of course the paprika aioli-big dippers only!“

“I recently visited this Dunkin’ Donuts, a location I’m familiar with since I grew up in the area. I generally enjoy their food, and the quality has remained consistent. Mornings can be a bit slow, and at times I’ve had some difficulty communicating with staff due to strong accents, though I want to emphasize this is not a criticism, just an observation. I’ve also noticed that the store seems less busy than it was before the pandemic. Despite this, I find the service to be good, and the overall experience is positive. I would recommend it for a reliable Dunkin’ visit.“
