“What a welcoming little Ethiopian coffee shop! Once a market, Dire Coffee opened in 2020. Family-owned, Dire Coffee serves Ethiopian coffee beans in all different ways- black coffee, lattes, and more. I ordered the Pumpkin Spice Latte. It came out hot and strong. The woman behind the register, who's the wife of the owner, asked how sweet I wanted my latte. She was very kind!

To eat, they have a variety of food. I ordered one sambusa and it was filled with lentils. It hit the spot!

The space itself is small, but comes with many places to sit. There's a small parking lot out front.“

“Takoma Bevco has become a Takoma staple. I personally love their espresso, served traditionally with sparkling water. You don't get that hardly anywhere! Food is great, atmosphere is great, and staff are really friendly and provide some of the best service I've gotten in DC!“

Mornings can be a bit slow, and at times I’ve had some difficulty communicating with staff due to strong accents, though I want to emphasize this is not a criticism, just an observation. I’ve also noticed that the store seems less busy than it was before the pandemic. Despite this, I find the service to be good, and the overall experience is positive. I would recommend it for a reliable Dunkin’ visit.“
