“Had a great meal at WJ Dent & Sons / Chief’s Your Neighborhood Bar. The cream of crab soup was definitely the highlight for me—full of flavor and easily one of the better cream of crab soups I’ve had. The catfish dinner was also really good, cooked just right and had great flavor.

Overall, everything was fresh, portions were good, and it was a nice place to sit down and enjoy a meal. Definitely worth stopping in if you’re in the area. I’ll definitely be back!“

“After being removed from bars for a time, just completing training at Piney Point, this place was everything and more. Met the owner and another bartender who were both great at service and conversation.
Highly recommend - give this place all the kindness n business you can muster.“

“Staff and patrons were friendly. Our waitress Grace took care of us. The food was excellent. Prices were reasonable. We drank a local IPA they had on tap. It was nothing fancy. Everything we tried was good: sweet Heat BBQ Bacon Burger, Coleslaw, Tater Tots, Trio Chips while it seems like a local's place, they are welcoming to tourists, too. Choose your spot - the bar, inside tables, or outside seating. The décor is rustic, comfortable & welcoming. Don't miss it!“

“They had Zing Zang Bloody Mary Mix and several others some spicy some not. I love stopping here for my liquor, mixers and beer. Obviously they had my Vodka. There selection for the Bloody Mary Mixes was great.. I will go stoo here next time we are in town. They had beer and liquor and other mixers for drinks as well as lottery and ice“

“We enjoyed eating out on the porch of The Front Porch. The road noise was often loud and the fire siren went off but that was known and expected. They got new chairs and tables out on the porch that morning. The chairs are horribly uncomfortable. Our server was quick to get our orders and the meals came out quickly however it took forever to get our checks. We enjoyed our meals. Mostly good things but those chairs need to go!!!“
