“What a great place! We were passing through and decided to swing in here. The parking lot was packed when we arrived & for good reason. The people were friendly and the food was delicious. Uncle Dirty even made sure to point out our Penn State shirts and gifted us a bottle of barbecue sauce! Would highly recommend!“

The venue speaks for itself but my wife Raven and I really want to give thanks to Brian, Loree and the rest of the team at Springfield Manor. “Visiting the area for the zoo ! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm smiles and the comforting aroma of fresh spices. I had the Thai salmon over veggies (spicy) with rice — perfectly cooked, flaky, and bursting with flavor. The crab wagons were crispy and addictive, the shrimp tempura light and golden, and the Neptune Feast, with its lightly sauced veggies and crab meat, shrimp, and scallops was absolute perfection. Every bite was fresh, vibrant, and beautifully balanced. Service was quick and friendly, and the cozy atmosphere made the whole experience even better. Herbs and spices and healthy oils create a potpourri of wonderful flavors and create a satisfying meal without the use of salt. Vegans now have a new choice for flavorful meals.“

“Carriage House Inn was great to work with for our wedding! At the tasting Christy was super attentive and friendly. At our actual wedding all the servers were great! Any time I would come back to my table my water glass would be magically filled again, it was so nice! About 30 minutes before the ceremony started my sister noticed one of the arches (the main focal point behind the bride and groom table) was still in pieces and started trying to build it as quickly as possible. She said the server(s) asked if she needed help assembling it (so sweet!) My sister said they had it built in no time and even hung the string lights and cloth on the arch. I really really appreciate that! The food was also amazing. Especially the parmesan chicken. I highly reccomend them!“

“Stopped in f a late breakfast and arrived about 1:15. We knew they closed at 2:00 so did not plan on staying too long. Omelette was very good, potatoes very good and waffle and eggs also very good (amazing how many places can screw up a waffle and eggs). Even though we got there late wait staff was very friendly and made sure everything was good with us. Looking forward to our next visit. If we lived in the area would certainly be a regular!! Nothing fancy, just good food and friendly staff.“

“Just had the most amazing lunch! The crab legs, delicious crabs, shrimp, and crab soup was absolutely perfect. Our waitress, Dawn , was incredible! She checked on everything we needed and even refilled our daughter's drink when she was looking a bit sad about other things. I'm from Baltimore and this place blew away most local restaurants. My family and I will definitely be back!“

“The staff are super friendly and the restaurant is kept very clean; you can see the kitchen is nice and tidy. The food is okay though, and there aren't many great American-Chinese restaurants in Waynesboro that I would recommend. I think things are bland to meet older American palettes' needs. It just lacks flavor more often than not.

Vegetarian options: You can omit animal proteins and I believe they had tofu options.“

“My golf group (15 men) was at Carroll Valley Ski Liberty 9/14-9/26. On Sunday & Sunday we all ate dinner at Eagle and the Owl restaurant. I had Salmon entree on Sunday and Steak the next night. Both meals were very good and all the group members voiced similar views.
I would like to give a shoutout to our server Berenice!
She was one of the best I have experienced over the past years of coming here. She really cares about your satisfaction and handled any and all requests, and made my group’s end of day meal very enjoyable. Hope management will pass on our feedback.“
