Uncle Dirty even made sure to point out our Penn State shirts and gifted us a bottle of barbecue sauce! Would highly recommend!“

The venue speaks for itself but my wife Raven and I really want to give thanks to Brian, Loree and the rest of the team at Springfield Manor. From the communications before the wedding to the wedding day itself they were fantastic.

We also noticed how Brian treats his team members cuz it extended to how his team treated us and our guests .

I had the Thai salmon over veggies (spicy) with rice — perfectly cooked, flaky, and bursting with flavor. The crab wagons were crispy and addictive, the shrimp tempura light and golden, and the Neptune Feast, with its lightly sauced veggies and crab meat, shrimp, and scallops was absolute perfection. Every bite was fresh, vibrant, and beautifully balanced. Service was quick and friendly, and the cozy atmosphere made the whole experience even better. “We went to Motherland restaurant today for the first time. Sabina prepares food that tastes great. Both vegan and meat and fish dishes are available. Herbs and spices and healthy oils create a potpourri of wonderful flavors and create a satisfying meal without the use of salt. Vegans now have a new choice for flavorful meals.“

“My wife and I went to the Carriage House Inn to celebrate her birthday yesterday. It was our first time there. We arrived early to have a drink at the bar. The bartender Mike was wonderful! We even met one of the owners. Our dinner was delicious, the scallops and filet were perfect. I had the Emitsburg it was a great choice. Dessert was cream brulee. Best we have had in years. Cat our waitress was lovely, attentive and explained exactly what the Emitsburg was since I had never had it before. We left full from our dinner out and full of joy since we have a new place to eat out special or just to drop in for a burger. Btw they even sang Happy Birthday to my wife.“

“Outstanding Food! You get your money’s worth with anything you purchase from the menu. True authentic Italian food! Wait times are long, especially on busy days (which happens to be every day they are open) but their food is worth the wait. Some of the food takes longer to bake as well because of size. Friendly service from whomever answers the phone to take your order to the delivery person. Friendly service, as well, when you pick up.“

“We live about three hours away and were in the area picking up an online purchase when we decided we were hungry for seafood. After checking out the options nearby, we chose Rube’s—and what a pleasant surprise it was! We ordered crab cakes, fried haddock, jumbo fried shrimp, a bacon cheeseburger, French fries, onion rings, mashed potatoes with gravy, crab soup, coleslaw, and tartar sauce. Everything was absolutely outstanding in flavor! The staff was also very friendly and accommodating, which made the experience even better. If we’re ever back in the area, we’ll definitely be returning to Rube’s!“

“Ann was our waitress, she brought us our drinks, took our order and never saw her again
(someone else brought us our food). Not one time did she ask if we needed anything or refill our drinks. When she did give us our check which we had to ask for, she said she would be right back, 10 minutes later she finally came back after my husband waved at her. Resturant was mildly busy but had plenty of waitresses.
Besides the service everything else was great.“

“The staff are super friendly and the restaurant is kept very clean; you can see the kitchen is nice and tidy. The food is okay though, and there aren't many great American-Chinese restaurants in Waynesboro that I would recommend. I think things are bland to meet older American palettes' needs. It just lacks flavor more often than not.

Vegetarian options: You can omit animal proteins and I believe they had tofu options.“

“My golf group (15 men) was at Carroll Valley Ski Liberty 9/14-9/26. On Sunday & Sunday we all ate dinner at Eagle and the Owl restaurant. I had Salmon entree on Sunday and Steak the next night. Both meals were very good and all the group members voiced similar views.
I would like to give a shoutout to our server Berenice!
She was one of the best I have experienced over the past years of coming here. She really cares about your satisfaction and handled any and all requests, and made my group’s end of day meal very enjoyable. Hope management will pass on our feedback.“
