“Exceptional dinner in a fabulous setting! Visiting from Chicago and we're completely impressed. We are foodie people and used to top-notch restaurants and this was perfection! Staff was very friendly yet professional. We ordered the family style menu and it was worth the price.“

“The most deliciously innovative meal that we’ve experienced within memory. Modern, Greek-accented food, elevated by sophisticated yet subtle use of herbs, spices, dressings and sauces. The menu contains numerous vegetarian offerings, although carnivores will also be happy. Excellent cocktails and drinks, attractive setting, efficient and pleasant service. The sole disappointment: noise. If you’re not enamored with loud acoustics, try to reserve a more quiet booth or visit during off-peak hours.***DETAILS: I was very skeptical about booking at Melina because the menu appeared complex and fussy. My concern was that the results would be discordant and underwhelming. Happily, I was dead wrong. Melina’s chef is one of those rare souls capable of orchestrating a symphony of flavors for the palate. We loved our charred baby gem salad (enhanced by its light and sprightly dressing); the squash app (brightly and unexpectedly accented with pear, black garlic and fried kale), the portobello main (deep-flavored and satisfying) and the lamb neck (generous and succulent.) The bougatso dessert, capped with a remarkably smooth Greek brandy, offered a celebratory ending. Looking forward to returning.“

“A good meal with well prepared Mediterranean dishes, however I found it slightly underwhelming compared to expectations I had beforehand. I was allocated at a table outside which turned out to be somewhat uncomfortable due to the cold weather, the restaurant could have heaters available. The inside ambiance is much nicer, with great architecture and ambient music, the right choice if available when going to this place. Reservations are apparently necessary, however I got a table just by walking in, although I arrived at the time when the restaurant opened, 11:30am.“

“Hands-down, the best Greek restaurant in Montgomery County! The owners are from Greece, so the food is authentic. Some interesting dishes. The vibe of the restaurant is next level, lots of Quality details. Service is always spectacular. One of my favorite restaurants in Onley. Great for date night or a family outing.“

“I recommend HOWEVER the last two orders we’ve placed through Uber Eats have been missing items. A little more attention to these orders at your Rockville/Norbeck location is needed. Your customers shouldn’t have to tell you to check off your lists. Thanks!“

“Yia Yia's is a true gem, a short distance away from College Park. I always go here when I'm in the area and it never fails. Large portions, fresh and delicious food. Their big fat gyro and their spanakopita are awesome and I definitely recommend this place.“

“The food was excellent----2 -lamb plates and 1-shrimp plate. The lemon potatoes were different and delicious. The warm pita bread and humus was a great appetizer while we waited on our order. This was a great little place for lunch after a trip to College Park IKEA--very close. Only counters---no tables, but food is worth it.“

This restaurant serves amazing Greek food and you can tell they care about the food they serve and are very customer focused. “Don't even think about calling this a gyro place! The variety of Greek foods here is astounding. The quality, flavor and presentation is totally top shelf. The atmosphere is relaxed yet fresh. I could come here and work remotely, productively, all day. Please, please, please, try the Greek coffee! It is the perfect balance of sweet and savory. Not acidic and the best compliment with the food. No bitterness and no irritation to the stomach. I would normally never have coffee and food together for this reason but this Greek coffee is the remedy for that. Gonzalo was kind enough to explain the process of making the coffee. Please talk to him. He takes great pride in the sacrifices he makes in order to guarantee the best quality and flavor. The desserts! OMG, the desserts! Have any of them or all of them. I've been raving to my friends and family about this place since I first tried their hummus and baklava during the pandemic. Don't pass this place by. It is totally worth stopping in and having a lovely sit down meal or getting it to-go. You will want to return again and again.Kid-friendliness: It is open with simple dining set up and lots of room on the bench seating.Wheelchair accessibility: The tables are well spaced and easy maneuver around.“

“What a friendly, comfy place to have breakfast! The cheese blintzes were wonderful, the coffee was rich but not too strong and frequently refilled, and the service was friendly, prompt, and efficient. Oh, did I mention the delicious cheese blintzes??? Great way to start the day!“

“Mylo's is my go-to spot. Excellent food & I usually get one of the daily specials. The staff are very kind & attentive. I feel so comfortable there that I enjoy not rushing through my meal and spending time w/my dining companion.“

“Had several different dishes so far and they're all good. You get more authentic Greek dishes that you can't find at other places. Falafel is crispy, but not too dry. Orange cake with honey cinnamon syrup is outstanding. Got the linguine pasta & the first time the veggies were grilled & it added a nice, complex flavor. All of the other times getting that pasta though, the veggies aren't grilled. $22 is a high price point for essentially veggie spaghetti. The grilled veggies are what really elevates it & I wouldn't get it again without that preparation.“

“Don’t underestimate the greatness of this place based on its humble location and signage. Excellent food made with simple, authentic ingredients. It feels like you are eating your grandmother’s food in Greece. One of the tastiest meals I have had in the DMV. I particularly enjoyed the mezze, like grilled octopus, giant white beans (gigantes) and tzatziki. Must return soon to work my way through more the of the menu. Service was also super warm and friendly. Recommend!“

“Iconic carry out with terrific Greek food. A downtown DC institution and deservedly so. Spanakopita and lamb are always delicious. One tiny downside: no time to ponder what you want to order — there can be long lines and the owners keep things moving. Take a look at the online menu beforehand.“

“I really like this place for a breakfast meal on the way to work. It's small and not much room inside when busy. Bench top seating along the front windows and maybe one or two outside tables during the nice seasons. Service has been amazing over the several months I've worked in the area.“

“Our favorite “basic” neighborhood Greek restaurant, even though it’s not in our neighborhood. Lots of street parking within walking distance. We split excellent homemade spanakopita and fried zucchini for appetizers. We shared the shrimp in tomato sauce and feta app and trout stuffed with spinach and feta as our mains. We shared a large piece of delicious homemade baklava for dessert. Wine prices are very reasonable. Service is very good. Highly recommend.“

“We stopped in here for a quick dinner while staying at a hotel nearby. The restaurant is small, but cozy and it was very easy to order. We had a spread sampler with tyrokafteri, taramosalata, and tzatziki and pita and it was very good! It's not often you can find taramosalata, so that was a nice bonus to find that. We also got a horiatiki with pork souvlaki and the salad and pork were delicious. The only downside was that the olives were sweet, which is something my wife and I have never seen before, especially not at a Greek restaurant. Olives aside, it's a good restaurant and one that we would visit again if in the area.“

“Yummy food and nice people. It's quite close to the zoo, and walking to it wasn't too bad even though we were tired after visiting the zoo. We tried chicken and veggie platters, both were flavourful and light. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. We also brought their baklawa home and loved it.“

“Amazing food! The customer service is top notch. Not too bad price-wise compared to other options in the area. Super chill. It was 91 degrees when we visited but we sat outside anyway because of a slight breeze and the shade. It was actually very comfortable after we settled in and we had a wonderful time! Highly recommend!!“

I’d never ordered from this place before but I was on doordash and stumbled across this restaurant I honestly wasn’t expecting much just a regular calzone…but omg. It was huge and so so so delicious and cheesy and buttered fresh tastin dough with garlic flavors. Lord the aroma had me drooling.3.TMI: Financially not in the best place but this genuinely made my night. Getting something that good for that price honestly just ugh. I was straight cheezin3.
