“We have been getting takeout pizza from Strapasta for years, and I just realized that I have been remiss in not writing them a review, so here it is: They make great pizza. Specifically, I'd like to call out their Sicilian style pizza - not everyone makes a Sicilian style pie, and not everyone does it well, but this place makes it and knocks it right out of the park - great crust with a crispy shell but not too dense on the inside, and they are not stingy with the rest of the ingredients. The pie is also precisely the size of the takeout box, too - you can get yourself a workout carrying a stack of these things around. Next up for praise is the Bruschetta pizza. I haven't seen this idea implemented anywhere else - I guess it's kinda close to a Margherita pizza, but the addition of the bruschetta seasonings really makes this a superior choice. A+, would recommend. Typing this out is making me think that we need to dine in here one of these days, too.“

Their menu is very simple and straightforward - they have Tomato & Cheese Pizza, the House Special, and create-your-own with toppings that include pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, onions, black olives, sweet peppers, meat sauce, banana hots, mushrooms, Canadian bacon, anchovies, and pineapple, with even the option to get 'double dough' or adding extra cheese. We ordered their Tomato & Cheese Pizza - this is their signature 12-inch 'square-ish' pie; this was sooo cheesy and yummy! The crust was housemade, and you can really tell - not too thick or too thin - a perfect complement and ratio to the fresh toppings! Note that each and every pie is made-to-order, so we received ours, literally, right out of the oven so it was piping hot! MMM! There was only one employee in there, and he was friendly and kind - we waited for about 15-20 minutes for ours, so not too bad! This is strictly a carry-out type of place, so you can call ahead or order in person. Can't wait to return and get another fix of Gil's! Creme brulee was a ,5 Out of 10 although the custard was decent the key is to get a very thin layer of torched glazed sugar on top the glaze was too thick hard as a rock I had to tap on it a few times. I will definitely go back. I was very disappointed (I went last spring) no cream of Crab soup or the likes they said it was seasonal??????? This is Maryland. “Ordered delivery to the TA truck stop, I got the 14" Classic Deluxe Pizza, 10pc mild buffalo wings, and a 2 liter of pepsi. The food did not disappoint. The pizza was made with fresh ingredients, and the onions and green peppers still had some crunch to them, unlike the chain restaurants. The wings were like pringles once you pop the fun dont stop. I devoured them one after the other. They were mild but satisfying if you wanted a little spice. Both people i interacted with were polite, and the driver called me to deliver it to my semi truck. I got my usual, the two cheese 10" pizza and the girls shared a 10" white pizza (edited to include tomato sauce). Having been to Matthew's more than 20 times in the past 6+ years, the two cheese pie was not as flavorful as usual - maybe due to weather, timing, my taste... but it was good! “I've been here a handful of times and I feel confident about writing a review. It's only based on pizza and fries. I've had the veggie pizza, cheese pizza, and fries. The cheese pie is consistently good. I will say if you get 3-4 slices of pizza that will run you about $12-$16 bucks and for that price you might as well order a whole pizza. The veggie slice I had was ok. It had diced tomatoes, broccoli, and spinach. It wasn't bad but I don't think I will get it again. I could've done without the diced tomatoes and spinach. It was a little on the bland side for me and I think onions and mushrooms would've given it a better taste and texture. Overall good food and customer service!“
“I arrived on a Saturday afternoon, in between lunch and dinner, so the entire Broadway Market was more or less empty. The gentleman at Last Slyce running the show was more than happy to help us navigate the menu and make a few suggestions for his favorites. I opted for the Big Sausage Energy (bonus points for the name). I did a little reconnaissance by reading other Yelp Elite reviews prior to ordering and saw that Last Slyce tends to serve their pies on the lightly baked side. I prefer my zza to be on the crispy, crunchy spectrum so I requested my Big Sausage to be baked well done. Fast forward 15 minutes later, and my prayers were answered. My personal pizza was perfectly cooked extra well did as requested with plenty of sausage in every bite. The pizza overall was a fine example of a personal pie, with much likeness to that of pizza chain &pizza. I thoroughly enjoyed the heartiness of the marinana sauce as well as the soft on the inside but crunchy on the outside crust. Undercarriage was also quite nice, as to be expected for anything named Big Sausage Energy. “I came really early, because I also wanted to get my nails done, the food of course was fresh but when I say fresh...I ordered the garlic knots and a strawberry cheesecake. The knots had color, slight crisp, but taste like the dough was just made...delicious...the cheese cake looks just as pleasant but wasn't as "formed" as a typical cheesecake. But it still had all the flavor, no crust on the bottom but added crust on the back which gave it just what it needed. And the prices for what u get are amazing! The Chesapeake eggs (deviled eggs with crab meat) and crab pretzel (soft pretzel smothered in crab dip & cheese) were so good my sister's order extras to take home to their partner. I have Celiacs and that was the best gluten free pizza (I got it with ham & pineapple)! The mozzarella cheese pull on their slices of pizza is divine. My you get sister got a Godfather stromboli and it was HUGE. We sat and ate at the restaurant portion. It's modest with a clean restroom. We got 2 pizzas, wings and curly fries for only $38!The wings are LARGE, a lot of meat and good flavor.The fries were good even by themself.The pizzas were good, the only thing I would say it would be better to use the pineapple chunks instead of the crushed. It caused some of the pizza to not cook fully but I definitely wouldn’t let that stop me from coming back.
