“Lived in Buffalo for 5 years so the bar for wings is extremely high. These were pretty good though. I tried the lemon pepper, which had good flavor and were crispy. Also had the honey bbq which were drenched in sauce; it was a bit much. The beignets were delicious and the chicken noodle soup hit the spot. “The following were super yummy: 1. Brisket 2. Rib tips 3. Smoked turkey 4. BBQ sauce I’m not used to sweet collard greens. They were not bad, just not used to them. I ate them all. May not order again, but doesn’t mean I would comeback not again… maybe to try the other sides. Pickles had a sweetness to them. Not bad, but don’t look to me given I’ve never been a fan of sweetish pickles regardless of where they come from. The brisket made me happy. I would love to try the Turkey in a sandwich. “We love Washington DC so my wife and I wanted some pizza. We were staying at the Embassy suites in NW so I googled pizza that was close by. Pizzoli‘s pizzeria came up. It looked good so we took an Uber there and the pizza was excellent. We ordered a simple pepperoni pizza and my wife and I both thoroughly enjoyed it. Made from scratch good. We were a little bit surprised in that it was a smaller establishment as we thought we were going to a place that had lots of tables, etc. This place has one inside table and five or six countertops to eat at and then they have several tables outside but as noted, the food was fantastic. Would certainly recommended, and we will be back home future visits.“

“I don't normally go out of my way to leave reviews but this place deserves nothing but praise. We ordered the naked wings with sauces on the side and potato wedges as we weren't sure if everything would stay crispy after a 30 minute drive. Not only did everything stay super crispy but these were by far the best wings I've had in years, maybe ever. The hot jet lag sauce provided a good kick with a bit of tanginess. The San Antonio sauce was clearly house-made and was equally tasty. Don't sleep on this place!! Oh, and the owner is a well-credentialed chef and extremely gracious guy. Wishing them all the best as they pivot from their original business plans and adjust to today's challenges.“

“We came to D.C. for a couple days from AZ and my son wanted Italian. I sent my Mom some options in many different areas and she chose this place, and I’ll admit when we were dropped off in this area, I wasn’t quite sure, but we decided to go in, and were warmly welcomed, and enjoyed an amazing meal! I got the Gnocchi with Meat Sauce, my Mom enjoyed Ravioli with cream sauce, and my son said his spaghetti with meat sauce was one of the best! We go out to eat A LOT, and am glad we gave this little place a try.“

“I was in the area finally and got to try out Jeffrey's after reading about the rebranding a while ago. Food was great. Cheesesteaks and fries are like they were back in the day. The last few Jerry's I had been to had fallen off in quality, but Jeffrey's revived it. So if you have a soft spot for the Jerry's you grew up with in the area, Jeffrey's is the place.“

He was raised on a farm in the midwest and relocated. He is a skilled farmer and it reflects in his pizza, I'm sure his other food too. I have to say it was an experience I will never forget. In this busy, hustle, hustle of today's lifestyle he was as warm and friendly as family, someone I've known my whole life. “Great experience. The place is a bit small but wasn’t overcrowded even for a Saturday evening. The people service was fast and very accommodating, I guess that’s the plus side of only having a few tables to service. The atmosphere was nice, and the food was affordable. “Two words. Pleasantly surprised. I came here on a Wednesday night, which is when Artemis have RnB night with live music. I arrived 30 mins early to ensure I had a seat. I walk in and the place is empty, which is usually not a good sign. I sat at the bar, and the bartender was super cool and nice. She ensured my group that the place would fill up. I ordered a drink and the catfish filet sandwich. The drink was a real drink if you know what I mean. No extra frills, nice, strong, and right to the point. Just the kind I like. The catfish was surprising really good too. The show kicks off and the band and the lead singer was great. They covered songs that we all knew, and my group and I sang along and had a great time. Also, one of the band members thanked us for coming and supporting and purchased a shot for my friend who's birthday it was. And as the bartender promised, the place filled up and the whole vibe was perfect. I'm glad we stuck around. If you're looking for live music on a Wednesday night, check out this place. It's not super flashy or anything, but you'll have a good time.“

“So I’ve never had Chicago deep dish pizza before. I’ve always thought that it would be too much of a good thing too. My husband saw Rosati’s as we passed by and made a note to come back next time we were around, fast forward to today and I just had my first ever taste of Chicago style deep dish pizza and it was amazing! It wasnt too much of anything. It was well balanced, the flavor was good, and it wasn’t super greasy. I’m surprised at how much it wasn’t what I expected it would be. I’m now into deep dish pizza - love at first slice (va dum tsh). Def recommend, food is good, staff was very nice, and I’ve got multiple meals coming. Stop in if you like good pizza.“

“It's weird knowing there's no original Ledo's anymore (for those of us who grew up with it). This spot is the closest we have now to the old real deal. Sometimes the pizza is perfection and sometimes they have off nights. Our most recent takeout order was definitely one of their good batches - the red sauce was perfect & the pizzas were all cooked just right. They were out of basil but otherwise had everything we ordered. Pro tip - there is a big difference between their bacon and their pre-cooked bacon for toppings. The regular bacon might as well be ham, it's not the crispy stuff you're expecting when you order bacon on a pizza. I'm a sucker for their red pizza with pineapple and precooked bacon (NOT regular bacon, I learned) & a white pizza with just sausage. I didn't spend much time in the restaurant as our order was ready and waiting but everyone I encountered during the pickup was super friendly and helpful. Can't wait for my next visit!“
