“Had found the place by accident roaming around the night before and ordered a chicken sandwich that was AWESOME! So decided on it for the pizza, highly recommend, the following night while roaming again. Started speaking with a older woman behind the bar who is part owner and she was so delightful and informativ of the area of Little Italy and told me of some of the history associated with the area. Such a great experience for an out of stater to have.“

She was familiar with the two customers in front of me. It definitely had a neighborhood friendly vibe. The shop was busy. Most of the tables on the first floor were taken up when I was there. Be sure to take a stroll up the stairs. At the top of the stairs was an adorable little spot for two people to sit and chat. The second floor has a great little area to sit and ready or study. The top floor was full of light. I ordered my usual cortado. It was a solid drink. The cortado wasn't bad but it also wasn't anything spectacular to write home about.“

My favorite is the shrimp quesadillas, but honestly, you can’t go wrong with any of the menu items. I understand the churros are a favorite too, though I’ve not personally tried them. “My family and I have enjoyed Devens Deli for a few decades now. Deven, Hetal and the rest of the staff are absolutely amazing people who make amazing food. When my family comes to town and I tell them I know where to get the best shrimp salad sandwich, they go back to Virginia knowing the place to go is Devens Deli. The Soft shell crab sandwich is awesome and a good price, as is the fantastic crab cakes (which can give any of those “4 star restaurants” a run for their money) 🦀👍. Hetal makes THE BEST chocolate eggs around the Easter season and my son and I made it a tradition to get them every year!! My cousins wedding was catered by Devens, I suggest you keep them in mind when having any event👍🤩“

“Stopped for Sunday brunch on Nov1, sat outside, ordered the Veggie Hash and steak and eggs! All was 10/10!!! Delicious! Loved the food and the vibes! Run don’t walk! Unfortunately, we live 3 hours away or we would do this every Sunday!“

“We stopped by Miss Shirley’s Cafe during a trip to Baltimore after seeing glowing reviews on Google Map. It lived up to the hype.

Got here around 10am on a Sunday and waited about 20 minutes for a table, which wasn’t bad considering the popularity.

The decor is fun, eclectic, and welcoming. The menu is huge with plenty of both sweet and savory options to choose from. We ordered the fried green tomato breakfast sandwich and the banana chocolate chips pancakes, and both were excellent. I’d order either again. One note: the hot chocolate is very sweet. I ordered it with the pancakes and found the combo too much. If you prefer less sweetness like I do, skip it.

Service was fast and friendly, and the restaurant seemed very well run despite the crowds. Though it’s popular with tourists, the food and overall experience make it well worth a visit.“

“In my best Kat Williams voice "Playa Playa" !! From beginning to end, excellent experience. I love the fact that you can choose from 2 doors to enter as well as safe free parking lot options. I was greeted by a very nice young lady who answered all my questions as well as provided free samples. I ordered the Nica Bowl and Hubby ordered the Tide Bowl. I enjoyed checking out the visuals in this place while waiting. The menu is conveniently located on the wall by register w options galore and descriptions. Plenty of substitutions and add ins. Pineapple decor, 2 picture walls, meal bars for sale, etc. Once our bowls were complete, they came out Yelp, IG picture ready !! The only thing better than their appearance was their taste. We could taste each fresh ingredient that fit perfect w the bowls. 1/3 of the way in, we were full. I forced my bowl down. Hubby brought his home to freeze and eat the next day. No complaints. I signed up for their customer loyalty program and can't wait to revisit. I want to try a Green Bowl and Smoothie. Great event, fantastic service, quality bowls, etc. Job well done Playa Playa !!“
