“This is a hidden gem and I’m so grateful to have found it. I got the Monstah Lobstah roll and it certainly lived up to its name. It was so big that I was able to bring half home to eat at a later time. We will definitely be back and hopefully Caitlin will be our waitress again… a super nice young lady. The food is delicious and the staff very accommodating.“

“Pilot House was delicious! We came here as vacationers, after being turned away from 2 restaurants due to the extreme heat they were unable to stay open. Pilot House was able to take us at their upstairs bar which was gorgeous! The AC was blasting which was a God send. The bartender was very friendly and accommodating despite being super busy! Maybe the best fish tacos I ever had. Also had a great dirty martini and a strawberry lemongrass vodka.“

“Another excellent dinner at the Burleigh. Great food in a nice room, with a friendly and welcoming staff. The slightly lemony Caesar dressing is lovely, and the stuffed halibut was, as always, excellent. The salmon sat on a very tasty bed of quinoa. The chef's sauces are flavorful but not overwhelming, so the flavor of the fresh ingredients is enhanced, not replaced. Which, of course, is the main reason we keep coming back.“

“This little hole in the wall restaurant was a great surprise. It's a short walk from the main area of OOB and is located right on the beach. The tables are literally set in the sand. Beyond that is dune grass and the ocean. I had the best tacos in my life! They featured cole slaw, pulled chicken and sweet Thai chili sauce. Delicious!“

“Just returned from our first time in Old Orchard Beach and Birdie's was BY FAR our best meal there. This is REAL home cookin'. Homemade iced tea, mashed potatoes that taste like your momma made 'em and a lovely and attentive server named Jody(?) that made us feel very taken care of. No frills or ocean views, but I'm shocked that this place doesn't have better reviews. I regret not having every meal there.“

“This is a very big and specious restaurant with a gaming area, we came here dinner. I got the fish and chips, the Haddock was absolutely delicious. My friend got the steak and cheese which looked amazing and was yummy too. I had a Margarita and it was made just right, not watered down. We did not check out the pool tables but looked like it would have been a wonderful fun experience. Maybe next time. They have parking in the back of the restaurant, the street parking spots are always full. There’s a public parking garage about 3 minutes walk across the street. Overall, good restaurant, highly recommend.“

“So back in November, we went to Longhorn to have lunch after we’ve been doing some holiday shopping. Our experience was less than stellar. I reached out through their website to Longhorn and let them know what had gone wrong. The rice was bad the steaks weren’t right, The waitress was nice but she never came back to see if we wanted refills on our drinks. She didn’t bring my husband a spoon for his coffee so he could stir the cream in the sugar. It took a long time for her to bring us the bill and for us to get the check back after we paid the bills so we could leave. It was just a frustrating and bad experience. it was just a bad experience

They sent me a gift card, asking me to come back and telling me that if I had a problem in the future, please ask for a manager. Part of the problem with the first one also was sadly the waitress was not good. She didn’t pay attention to us. It took a long time to get things done.

Our second trip was a couple of weeks ago. The waitress was very good. The food was good. I ordered the baked potato without any onion as I’m allergic to. The food came out in a timely fashion the waitress refreshed our drinks as we asked it was a much better experience. I will say the sides when they came out my potato, especially it was good, but it really wasn’t hot and that was pretty much the big thing that missed the mark can’t give you five stars because of the first experience but I will say after them trying to correct the issue we will probably go back again. I didn’t ask for a manager this time Because I just wanted to have the deal done and we were on a time crunch, so yeah, they kind of redeem themselves on the second trip. If we go again in the near future will read again and see if it’s better.

I do appreciate the fact that they tried to take care of the situation as best as they could from the first experience so we will probably go again, but as a few people have previously noted in their reviews for the amount of money that the food costs, I expect it to be a good experience so we’ll see what the next one is, but they did redeem themselves after the first trip.“

“Food came out quickly. Waitress was efficient. The nachos were really good and the Key Lime Pie dessert martini was delicious. Bathrooms needed cleaning, both men and women's were kind of gross. Women's was super sticky floors and I saw a few bugs on the floor in both bathroom and main dining area.“

If you don't like your drinks strong or served with some sass, stay around the pier and expect paying 3X the price for a fake smile and the same shot. Personally, I tip good for strong drinks and service that's direct. Best bar in Old Orchard.

“I come specifically to Old Orchard Beach every year just to eat at The Bell Buoy. They serve the best seafood and are very closely located to the pier and beach. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but the lobster is a huge selling point. Friendly staff, great food, good service, and a mere walking distance from many of the other attractions. I cannot recommend this place enough, and hope it remains open forever.“

We were greeted by a young lady (too young to mention her name) with sweet, sweet answers to our questions as we were walking by.

We decided to go for it.

Ordered the twin tail lobster.
Good Lob, Good Corn, Good Bread, Good Slaw.

Great place to have a very good meal on a picinic table.

“My mom and I stopped in last evening for the first time. Lakeya was SO nice! Super friendly and helpful. Our drinks were great. The wings were amazing. I am originally from Massachusetts and have been in Maine for 25 years and have not found pizza that was better than just ok…until now! If I could have eaten more I would have.
