“DELICIOUS!! FRESH!!! Excellent Quantity and price is reasonable for meals. Baked goods are also tasty and huge. Sometimes the wait is a tad long but generally service is quick. We found this to be a nice change from the other restaurants in Boothbay Harbor. Although we enjoyed them also. Definitely we'd eat here again if in the area. You should give it try as you won't be disappointed.”

“A local bartender recommended this coffee shop for a quick breakfast and it did not disappoint. Had a delicious pistachio latte and a maple snail, arguably the best pastry I’ve ever had. Wish I lived closer so I could stop by regularly!”

“This is the best restaurant breakfast we have had in some time (and we eat breakfast out often). The coffee is excellent, the biscuits as good as what I make at home and the eggs were done perfectly. We returned the next morning and had the French Toast stuffed with cream cheese and Maine wild blueberries and it also was excellent. The ambiance is pleasantly funky and the service is warm and efficient.”

“Came up from Connecticut on vacation. Honestly wasn't expecting much from a seafood state and boy was I wrong!! This pizza can compete with some of the best in CT for sure!! Get the Diavola, you won't be disappointed. Friendly staff and a great view as well.”

“Wow this place so far exceeded expectations from minute one. We came in with my elderly aunt and everyone was so attentive and helpful. The hostess was able to get us seated in the tavern area fairly quickly in spite of them being very busy. The atmosphere was very interesting and there were intricate chalk drawings on the walls. The noise level was quieter than I would expect in a pub atmosphere so we were able to chat. The food was incredible, the oysters were super fresh and my only suggestion is to serve these with fresh lemon. For an entree I had French onion soup and a toasted mini baguette and it was delicious. My husband had the chicken which was also delicious and my aunt had the fish and chips which she seemed very pleased with.”

And it all begins with the owners, Zoli and Sarah, who are kind and honest as the day is long. We can’t speak highly enough of them, their crew and this establishment. “Who would’ve thought one of the best meals I’d have in Maine would come from a pizza spot in a converted work trailer? Vera Idyllic Pizza is an absolute gem on the side of the road. We stopped by twice in four days because the pizza was that good. The cheese and BBQ chicken pizzas were both amazing — fresh, flavorful, and with the best dough I’ve ever had. The setup is simple but really well done, and you can tell they put care into everything. Forget the lobster — this is the place you’ll be craving again and again. AJ from Buffalo”
