Ocean Point Kitchen Reviews
I wish that I could give a rating greater than five stars - my family truly enjoyed our experience that much! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by friendly staff who made us feel welcome. We got seated right by a window with a stunning view of the water. Our food was excellent - some of the best we have had in Maine. The entire dinner was a wonderful experience
Food - I got the smash burger with fries and it is the best burger I've ever had. Very fresh ingredients and the burger was cooked to near perfection. I also got a key lime pie slice and a blueberry crumble, the key lime pie was very rich and could be eaten by 2.
Service - very nice waitress who checked on us every ~15 minutes, which was a good amount of time before we needed a refill on our water. I rated 4 stars on service because our waitress was fairly new to the states...read full review
Very tasty clam chowder. Place was expensive for what you get. Food was 80% very good. Not much else to choose from if you’re staying at this hotel, but the hotel is super Duper nice! Quiet area and cute cute houses nearby. Got table by the window to see the water.

Ocean Point Kitchen is a highly recommended restaurant located in a beautiful area with great water views. Many visitors stay at the nearby Ocean Point resort and choose to dine here for breakfast and dinner. The food is often praised as very good, with some standout dishes like the crab and fish cake sandwich and the fish & chips. The crab sandwich is loaded with crab and described as amazing, while the fish & chips come in a large, crispy, and non-greasy portion. Breakfast options such as breakfast sandwiches enjoyed outdoors overlooking the water are also popular.
The restaurant offers breathtaking views, especially from tables by the window, making it a perfect spot to enjoy the scenery and sunset. Service is generally good, with staff being friendly and attentive, although some mention that food can take a long time to arrive, possibly due to being short-staffed. The lobster stew and clam chowder are tasty, but the lobster roll is considered overpriced with little lobster served. The menu includes classic comfort foods like fried chicken sandwiches and fish & chips, which receive high praise.
While some dishes like the blueberry crumble and lobster bisque are hit or miss, overall, Ocean Point Kitchen provides a satisfying dining experience. The quiet, cute neighborhood nearby adds to the charm. Visitors often find the location convenient for walks and boating outings, making it a favorite spot for those staying in the area.
