My daughter called from the tarmac in Boston where we were rerouted and refueled and explained the situation. The hostess, Susie, was very understanding and compassionate And said that even though our table was booked for another party a 7, we should come in and she would see what she could do. We got there late but Susie greeted us warmly and told us not to worry about being rushed that she had arranged things so no one would be inconvenienced. When I arrived I realized I had forgotten my wallet, the neighborly staff here offered to let me put it on a ticket and come back to pay, all while reassuring me I could stay to use the WiFi as long as I needed. It was far from my typical, and I can appreciate that the coffee was of a good quality, but my experience would've been much more enjoyable if I could've been directed to flavors more suited to my palate. “I had a great experience at Buzz Coffee. I ordered a Hot Chai Tea Latte with Almond Milk, which was delicious! Their chai tea is one of the best in the area. They were more than happy to use my reusable cup. It is cozy and tucked away from the bustling streets of Portland’s Old Port and the cold weather outside. Seems like a great place to curl up with a good book, write or study. Thanks Buzz Coffee!

“My husband and I have been going to Gorgeous Gelato for years. It's been a while since we've been but last weekend, we decided to introduce our granddaughters to it. The older one enjoyed trying blueberry sorbet and ended up ordering it. The little one is 3 so she opted for vanilla and chocolate. It's just as delicious as we remember. They really make the best gelato in New England. It's the closest one to the ones we had in Italy. Oh, and they have sfogiatelle (pastry filled with sweet ricotta) which was legit. Had one of those in Naples, Italy in 2017. This is not Naples level but it brought me back to the experience nonetheless. It's a bit pricey though (almost $7 each). Their prices have gone up and parking in the the city could be a challenge. These are the only reasons why we don't go more often.“

“Don't be discouraged by the exterior. If you want good coffee, tasty breakfast, and quick service with no lines, Yordprom ticked all those boxes for us. We took a chance on it after waiting in line for too long at a Bakery further up and we were very happy with how buttery and flaky the ham and cheese croissant was and the softness and creaminess of the avocado bagel. As Australians, we can be picky with our coffee and I thought it was also a decent cappuccino. The setting was basic but it was fairly priced and we were welcomed with a smile and friendly goodbyes, so to us that was worth it compared to a more stylish/modern option that's too busy and overcharges. “OMG. I wrote this review so long ago. Since then I have had nearly a thousand coffees here. My dog has a locker here. It’s anything but sterile, and the staff is incredibly knowledgeable about coffee and cannabis alike. 10/10 would recommend!

“Eighty-8 donuts catered a sweet breakfast the morning after our wedding at French’s Point in Stockton Springs, ME. Despite a cold November morning, they were absolutely amazing and our guests loved the hot and fresh mini donuts and coffee we sent them off with. They even had to-go boxes prepared so our friends and family could bring their favorite flavors home. This was the perfect way to end our wedding weekend! 10/10 would highly recommend their food truck for any event or large gathering, it was such a hit!“

“In a random twist of events, we found ourselves looking for a bite to eat on our way to our hotel in South Portland. We decided to look in the less crowded area of town and happened upon Bread and Olive. The dishes were mostly tapas sized. All of the ingredients seemed fresh and homemade. We had the bread and olives for an appetizer, the Mediterranean Flatbread and the grilled cheese... all of which were delicious. The homemade sourdough was absolutely delectable. The best part about the dishes being smaller is that we had room for dessert, which was a bundt cake. Lastly, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend Bread and Olive!!!“

“I've shopped in many Whole Foods across the country. I have family in Portland, Maine, and I visit this Whole Foods on a frequent basis. It is large, well-stocked, and most of all, the different food stations are amazing. Made to order items at the food stations are terrific and make for a nice meal. The hot bar is also excellent. Tasty, excellent food. I look forward to frequenting the store on a regular basis.“

“First time visiting. Only a 20-minute wait. Next time, I will call ahead and get my name on the list. We had the Crab Cake Benedict, which was full of crab and flavor. The only thing I can say that a little disappointing was the Hollandaies sauce, which is very thin and runny with no flavor. The potatoes were crispy and well spiced, a great portion for the meal.“

“My 4 star on atmosphere is simply because this location is non-stop busy. That is not remotely anything the staff can change. Tip on food...when ordering food and beverage, make the food requests first, the food comes out usually faster. As for the staff, I think they're awesome. 90% of the time they are awesome - depsite having a job where you stand all day and there is a constant stream of requests! Sure there may be a surly one every once and awhile...but just take a moment to let them know you're glad they're there and they do a complete 360 flip. And...the dog treats are a huge bonus!“

“I was excited to try a new breakfast sandwich but unfortunately it was a letdown. I got the sausage egg and cheese which came on a bland biscuit-muffin hybrid that had a strange texture. The sausage and cheddar cheese didn’t have much flavor and the whole thing was overpowered by a sauce that tasted like Japanese mayo. The slight sweetness of the roll and sauce with the lack of any other flavor made it hard to finish. I also got a muffin which was fine. Looking at other reviews and realizing everything is gluten free makes a lot more sense now, so I won’t disparage the muffin. It’s cool that people who need that sort of thing have an option but it’s not for me.“

Parking: Parking lot is small, yet few park and stay, so plenty of parking and they have a drive through.
