“Amazingly fast service first thing on Monday morning! Made me wish that dunkin allowed their employees to be tipped! I had a big order and it was done in less than 5 minutes, with 100% accuracy. Would highly recommend choosing this dunkin as there are many in the area.“
“We had 30 minutes to spare before an appointment so we stopped in here for food, drink and restrooms. The chai tea latte was fine but the service was slow as they dealt with a large volume of drive thru customers. The service was rather half-hearted the staff who were probably tired after a long shift but showed little enthusiasm and less focus on a friendly smile to customers.Parking: 20+“
“Our absolute favorite Dunkin. Service is fast, food is always hot and the drinks are always just right! Wish I asked for the drive thru lady's name, she is so sweet and really cares about the customer and made sure my drink was just right.“
“I tried many ice cream shops in this town but the best scoop goes to this shop with Maine blueberry cobbler. The other flavors I tried were not as good as this single flavor so if you go, just get the cobbler, it's delicious. Across the street there is another fabulous place which has real Italian gelato which actually have decided is higher quality since all of their flavors are superb, but this blueberry cobbler one took my heart as the top contender flavor in Portland.“
“We had a wonderful dinner at Isa Bistro. The food was simply delicious & reasonably priced. Portions were good. Nice selection of Wines, Cocktails and beer. The ambiance is cozy yet refined. Excellent customer service!! This will be one of our new go to restaurants.“
“Of all the bakeries and coffee shops my husband and I tried on our trip to Portland, Tamdem was our favorite! The Americano was delicious and the salted coconut maple scone was one of the best I've ever had with the perfect crunchy texture on the outside and soft inside. I also tried the blood orange scone, which tasted a bit pithy to me. There was a line at 11:00 on a Saturday, but it moved quickly and there was plenty of seating outside.“
“This place is a must go for breakfast. Great staff and service, excellent food. I would give it 6 stars if I could. The bread and viennoiseries are expertly done. Everything on the menu is excellent, I would also say that the scrambled eggs is a must have.Big thanks to the staff and see you next time we come to Portland!“
“My wife and I are regular visitors to Portland and this is one of our must stops. The staff is very friendly and the environment is warm and inviting. The coffee is one of the better ones you will find. We have had different breakfast sandwiches and they all have been tasty. The pastries are well baked and have good flavors. You will not be disappointed if you put this on your list.“
“It's your local Burundi shop.I went back for the rice and extra side dishes that came along with the savory banana stew and they had taken it off the menu.Still a good dish, and he offered toasted homemade bread with olive oil. But, for 16.99 without the extra sides I personally wouldn't.“
“what a Gem, probably the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had. The staff were so friendly, the highlight was being walked through the pastries and cakes made by their insanely amazing and talented baker. I cannot express how good the pastries were, we ended up bringing a bunch back to Nova Scotia. would 10/10 recommend a visit here.“
“My husband and I went out on a date night out of CT and had the opportunity to try out this gelato shop! Everyone there was very kind and friendly. It's a small shop but you can tell the gelato is fresh and made with the best ingredients! Everytime we go to Portland now we look forward to coming back here!“
“First time visiting, I got the mango smoothie bowl. My wife got the peanut butter smoothie bowl. They were delicious and substantial. The coconut cream on the mango is an excellent touch. The rest of the menu looked very interesting. Healthy, fresh and creative.“
“Worth the trip! Glazed donuts were my fave(but tried a variety). Fried in healthy fat(lard) and no vegetable oil! Fantastic.Note: Not the fault of the donut shop, but the city of Portland is wild! Next time we are just gonna drive-by-pickup the donuts and head out! It breaks my heart to see the crime and the people who are passed out on the sidewalk from drugs.“
“Breath of fresh air coffee shop and medical dispensary! Moving to Portland I didn’t dream I’d find a welcoming kind environment for my two loves. Each staff member was patient to the time to explain and made me feel seen. Some of the best flower in Portland! Along with the fact you can get a cbd iced tea or coffee. This spot is a diamond in the rough of wharf st“
“Hands down the best latte I have had in a long time! Everything was so fresh! You can tell the coffee was recently grind. Great customer service, at least the guy that attended us, he was helpful, funny and very courteous. We weee all happy w the quality of the coffee, Can’t wait to go back! The 4 star is only because the limited menu, but everything was delicious !!“
“Was recommended this spot by a barber at (Blind Pig - which is also an amazing spot if you need a haircut). immediately rushed right over to try and make it before they closed. WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED AT ALL. omg these donuts are so so so so good. if you’re in Portland and have a sweet tooth, DEFINITELY CHECK THIS PLACE OUT! ????“
“Very cozy coffee shop with many fun flavor options! I love the special bagel each week - my favorite has been salt rosemary! I love to stop in here on my way to work. Sometimes my fiance likes to work here before we go out to lunch. They have great free wifi as well.Dietary restrictions: Lots of milk alternatives.“
“This is a wonderful place operated by knowledgeable and friendly people. They have a variety of delicious food and drink options. The grilled cheese here is taken to the next level, definitely a must try! Also, the desserts are fantastic! If you find yourself at a Sea Dogs or Celtics game and have some time before or after you should check it out!“
“I’m obsessed with this place. They have really high quality authentic Asian sauces and spices, and alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. They also carry cook books and merch. In addition to grocery items, they sell homemade baked goods and drinks. I’m obsessed with their hojicha latte. I love matcha latte but I’ve never had any other kind of green tea latte. I tried their hojicha green tea latte and I’m hooked. It’s a bit nutty and has less caffeine than a matcha latte, which is perfect for a midday pick-me-up. The staff are really nice and I’ve had a pleasant experience every time I’ve gone in. It’s really great to have more diversity of Asian focused groceries and bakery in Portland!P.s. they even have a congee bar!“
“Stopped in here for a couple drinks and was served by Ian. He was awesome and alone makes coming back worth it. They didn’t have a huge whiskey/whisky selection but the sister company he explained did. He even went over to grab a menu for us to look at. Atmosphere was great, bathrooms were crazy clean. Must stop by, can’t talk about the food, but getting Ian to serve you makes it worth it!“
“Went here with a friend right as they opened up. This place has a great atmosphere, space to relax and do a bit of work in the morning to just start your day off right. Coffee of course tasted delicious as well. Always will recommend 11/10 will come here again “
“The best chicken salad I have ever had! Amazing bagels, bread and the cookies? Oh my! So good. Get there early if you want bread or bagels. Arrive at 11 AM for sandwiches as they sell out quick. The ONLY bad thing about Scratch is that they aren't open enough.“
“These are all cake donuts. I had a cinnamon carrot cake. It was mostly cinnamon; really couldn't taste the carrot cake in this donut. Most notable about these donuts is the price $3.50-3.75 per donut. Steep price for a so-so donut.“
“This is a very spacious Coffee by Design. If you've been in Portland for a long time, you'll know that most of the coffee by designs have been small, cozy spots. This is more of a cozy large spacious one! Definitely not intimate in the main room but there is a separate seating area that I believe used to be for staff only which now they have opened up for customers. That's a nice spot if you prefer more quiet. Anyway, the coffee's always great as it is at every Coffee by Design. The customer service is always pretty good. They have lots of different types of seating , for example, you can sit at the bar where the baristas make their magic, or you can sit at a two top table, or you can sit and lounge at one of the tables that has leather cushion seats. They also have large glass windows into the roasting room (is that what it's called?) that can look through. It's my favorite coffee shop in Portland. And if you want to celebrate true Portland local business, go there.PS I am so so sad that I'm not able to bring my pup in with me anymore. I've always been appreciative of coffee by design, allowing well-behaved dogs to accompany their owners. I think it's because now they have some food items. I said bring back the dogs and the dog treat jar and get rid of the bagels lol. ?Dietary restrictions: They offer vegan milksParking: There are a few spaces in front of the building and also across the street which is shared with other businesses.“
“Hard not to love this place. Atmosphere is great, service is great and the people are one of a kind. If I don’t get through on the first call, they’re always there on the second. It’s my go to spot as of late. Expect nothing but good things from them <3“
“First time in Portland visiting a school and on the way out of town we needed some breakfast and coffee and I'm glad we stopped here. They had so many options for both coffee and food so I asked the girl at the register and ended up getting a caramel latte which was really good. I also got an egg and cheese biscuit (couldn't wait till to take a bite before I took a photo) and 8 of they're famous Bennies. Probably the best decision I've ever made! They were so delicious :D Overall the service was quick, employees were nice and the food was even better!“
“We went here twice during our short weekend getaway. One of the seasonal lattes, the honeysuckle, totally blew us away. My husband got the cold brew the first time and it was very good, but the latte was SO delicious that we both got it the second time. Staff was very nice, and it's a cute space. We'll be back!“
“ Excellent third wave coffee shop in the heart of Portland. Lighter, flavorful roasts. I tried the ? maple iced latte and was pleasantly surprised. Of note is that their roasts are wood fire roasted ?, a rarity.Small, cozy, shop with warm tones, minimalist designs, and very friendly and coffee-passionate baristas.“
“Stopped in with my fiancé for some coffee and breakfast sandwiches on our way up to Harpswell. The bagel breakfast sandwiches were the best breakfast sandwiches we have ever had. They were personally made with love, from Jo herself. You should absolutely stop there and try a bagel sandwich and get an iced chai coffee.“
“Mainly Mozzarella Sandwich is excellent. Consistency with how much balsamic glaze and pesto is average. The Caesar salad dressing is thick and excellent. The salad lack leaves. I hate eating 80% stalk. I appreciate their environmental consciousness and commitment.“
“Great coffee and service. Love the mission and impact this coffee shop has on live in Rwanda - it's mentioned on their website and that's what drew me to visit. Barista was super helpful giving suggestions about local spots to check out while I visit Portland!“
“The food was absolutely amazing!! We had the vegan tofu scramble, kids french toast, and French toast stuffed with lemon and blueberry. Everyone loved everything! The homefries were delicious, there was turkey sausage available as well as regular, and they were very careful with my (many) allergies!Dietary restrictions: They have vegan options available. The vegan tofu scramble was delicious!“
“Been hunting a good cup of coffee in Downtown Portland and I finally found it! I asked for a cappuccino and it had delicious frothy milk and the coffee didn’t taste acid/sour like most places I’ve tried. Fair price and great quality. Also, the barista/employee was super nice.“
“We had a brief one night stop on our Maine roadtrip. Asked recommendations about local beer place in our dinner spot The Highroller Lobster. Girl pointed to the Maps. We had one beer each, but the bartender knew milliliters (which is odd and great at the same time). The Commodores LP was spinning and fullfilling Tuesday's eve experience. I am from Lithuania, so I did not liked the map with soviet union, even I understand this is a piece of history, but it should be hanging in restroom or somewhere in less respectful place. Great beer and atmosphere overall.“
“I got the Cozyside latte, and it's phenomenal! There isn't anything I'd change about it or my service. I'd never been here before and wish there were a couple more lounge chairs so I could sit and not feel like I was disturbing someone else at a table, but I understand the square footage doesn't leave alot to work with.“
“I love Buzz! So good, and used to go in multiple times a week before I moved away. My go to’s were the cold brew, dirty chai, cappuccino, or the mocha. Everyone who works there is so kind and the space is curated in a cozy way that makes you feel at home.“
“I stopped in to get a gift for my sister, and the person working was lovely! I purchased some delicious-sounding blends, and they even packaged up the tea in a cute bag with tissue paper. I’m looking forward to my next visit and drinking a cup (or a few) there!!“
“Cute little place! Didn't have any food but the coffee was good, alternative milk is over with the milk and cream which is nice. Only downside was that the tables were SO close to each other that sitting in the corner and trying to get up was impossible to do without someone else having to scooch their seat “
“This is the best coffee I have found in the Portland area so far! This location is small, but has an excellent selection of whole bean coffee to choose from and the cashier is always helpful and gives good recommendations. I’ve heard Speckled Ax does a coffee subscription and I am extremely tempted to try it…“
“Favorite Coffee place in Portland!!!! Support local, don't let this gem go without the attention it deserves! Low key not pumped for when it inevitably blows up for the tourists - but for now its mostly locals and its a DREAM! GREAT staff, GREAT food, GREAT coffee... what more could you want?!!? thankful to live just up the road so I can go often“
“If you are a coffee drinker in the Westbrook area or close and want to support a local establishment over the giant names then this is your place. Being so close to Portland there is some stiff competition but I think this is worthy of the conversation of a spot to grab your coffee/tea/etc. without having to venture into downtown Portland. They have all the standards you expect but can do so many different flavor combinations and even offer a special drink of the month which I’m excited to see every month. It’s a little drive through spot but don’t let that fool you. Friendly and fast service with good quality drinks.“
“WOW!! Amazing experience at Ohno. We came in for Breakfast, having traveled from VT. It was the closest spot to our airbnb and we are very glad we went. The staff was extremely friendly, service was quick, and the food was exceptional in taste and quality! I recommend trying the potato pancakes on the side; they were delicious. Thanks again Ohno for a wonderful meal!“
“TL;DR: great food and sweet yarn shop run by an even sweeter shop owner!Stopped by for lunch and some yarn shopping while on vacation with my partner. We had a delightful meal, including beers and dessert, as well as some lovely conversation with the proprietor. Lisa, the owner, is warm, welcoming, and kind. Anyone can tell that she puts her heart and soul into this shop and that feeding people is an absolute labor of love. The yarn area of the shop is small with a modest selection, but it’s very charming and well thought out. I purchased some lovely yarn to make socks for my partner and he can’t wait for me to start!“
“Stopped in with my daughter as we’ve been exploring new tea flavors together and wanted to try some nice quality teas. I bought a bag of the chai and it’s amazing! My only regret was not buying a bigger bag but I don’t mind an excuse to have to stop back in :) There was a large assortment to choose from and the owner was so lovely.“
“Recommended: Absolutely, for the best breakfast sandwich experience. Overall: A standout café offering an exceptional breakfast sandwich and great coffee, though with a note on service organization. Snapshot: Food: 5/5 Drink: 5/5 Vibe: 4/5 Service: 3/5 Value: 4/5 Family-Friendly: NA Highlights: Perfect For: Indulging in a top-notch breakfast sandwich Don't Miss: The artisanal English muffin with rich, savory bacon, balanced by spread and pickled onions Bonus Tip: Arrive early to avoid sell-out disappointments and enjoy your meal with a waterfront view All The Details: Speckled Axe in Portland delivered the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had, bar none. My husband and I have been raving about it since, even attempting to recreate it for my birthday breakfast. Along with a great cup of coffee and a bakery item, this café epitomizes the perfect morning, especially when on vacation. Portland is brimming with cafés, but Speckled Axe stands out. Their breakfast sandwich strikes a perfect balance of flavors - rich, savory bacon on an exquisitely crafted artisanal English muffin, perfectly complemented by the spread and pickled onions. Each ingredient is thoughtfully selected, with no single component overshadowing the others. The only caveat is the service organization. On our first visit, we waited in line for nearly half an hour, only to find the sandwich sold out. A heads-up to those in line would have been helpful. Despite this, the staff's friendliness made up for the frustration. Determined, we returned earlier the next day and were rewarded with the breakfast sandwich of our dreams. Opting for a scenic meal across the street by the water was the perfect start to our morning. Located a bit away from the main downtown area, Speckled Axe is well worth the detour. It's a definite must-visit, and we'll surely return on our next trip to Portland.“
“On our way to breakfast, my 2 kids and I walked into Bayside Nutrition and Kathy and her daughter were super friendly and helpful with their beverages. I ended up ordering one drink (can’t remember name of drink) and I liked it so much that we went back after breakfast and I ordered another one and my kids also ordered their own. I recommend this place. The ladies are very knowledgeable, listen to you and help you make a great choice based on what you tell them. We live in California but would definitely go again if I’m in their area.“
“This place has energy drinks on loc down, no one has these options & flavors that keep expanding. The coffee is average nothing special. But you can't beat the frojoe , the frozen coffee made with chocolate milk, is the best frozen coffee on the planet so far.“
“We ordered the whoopie pies for our wedding and they were amazing (and heart shaped!)! We had several guests who had celiac disease and several who had a gluten intolerance. B+B was perfect and I am so glad our GF guests had a cake option they could eat without worrying! It was absolutely delicious! All of our gluten free friends kept coming up to us to say how much they loved them! Thank you B+B!!“
“I don't like the screen order board it's just a pain.was so glad I could just order at the counter. The young man was kind and very polite. I just really don't like McDonald's food my son and husband like their food. Bathrooms were clean and the drunk area look good. Other than it being expensive now not bad if you need to stop somewhere“
