“Moved to Gray recently , was asking around about pizza, as I grew up in NY and we eat it 3 days a week down there . Anyway , I ordered a plain cheese pizza the first time I went, and that was so good I just did the same tonight. Very close to NY style pizza, more specifically long island pizza where I grew up.. They definitely put some good stuff in their dough as it is seriously on another level of anywhere else I been in 13 years in Maine . And it being a HOP, looking forward to getting the Gyro next!!“

“We wandered in today and sat at the bar. We were so impressed with both the service and the food. The bartender was cordial, friendly, and extremely attentive. We had a flatbread that was absolutely delicious and chicken, bacon ranch salad with house made ranch that was exceptional. Closer than any. We don’t have a flatbread company near our home sure wish we did.“

“While staying at a nearby hotel, we ordered Portland Pie Co for pickup. It was ready within 20 minutes on a Friday night, which was great! The building and interior was very modern, and it smelled amazing inside!

We ordered to the chicken nachos and chicken broccoli alfredo for dinner, and loved both meals. You could taste the ingredients were fresh and made to order. Also, the portions are HUGE, and we felt the price was pretty competitive based on the quality and portion sizes! We'll be back on our next Portland trip!“

“I got the Greek Pizza last night. 10 in size which is the only size. Had it to go and once I got to it for eating it was delicious. Cost about $17 which at first I thought was a lot. But it is worth the money for me. When you park there please don't park behind the building, that is for employees. I found out by having a unpleasant talk with the manager/owner. Ihad herd many negative comments about the pizzas atthe ball field. So i went straightto order at Portland House! when i got to ball field i shared it with a couple who had just thrown the ball field pizza away as it was awful. They had a slice of mine which they said was fantastic! Better check withwhat is going to the ball field as it discredits your restaurant!!!

“As I lifelong fan of Amato’s Italian Sandwiches. I love their food. My only minor issue is the accuracy in filling the order. The last two times I have used the Falmouth location the sandwiches have either had a peppers that I didn’t order or left off the tomatoes that I ordered. The orders were placed on the kiosk and the correct order was on the receipt. I will still keep eating their sandwiches but will continue to be annoyed at the errors.“

“I stopped in to pick up an online order that my wife had placed. I love the monitor that shows the stage your order is currently in process. I asked an employee if i could add lava cakes to my order and the counter person said based on where my order was at it would be done two to five minutes after the original order would be completed. She then asked if that would be okay. I thanked her for giving me that information and ordered the desserts . It is very, very busy night. With a lot of orders coming in online and through the door with walk in orders. All the staff were amazing with how they were working as a team in their stations. I apologize for saying this as I did not ask her name a young girl to me red-haired woman was coordinating the team members. Even in the high pressure and fast pace she was calmly coordinating things with her staff and the delievery driver. She was making sure that all orders and requests by customers today were being met in a very timely manner. She was talking with her team to ensure the quality checks were being done on the food, and all the sauces and extras were included in each order.
It was extremely, impressive to see such a high-functioning team coordinated by someone who obviously does their job at an extremely high level. She was overseeing all aspects of the business from her quality control position as order expeditor. She was engaged with the Delivery driver about orders, the counter person if they had questions, talkimg to each of her staff at each of their station when they needed a questioned answered or to ccodinate with them about orders. I received my initial order and then 3 minutes later, they coordinated my desserts to me and I was out the door.
All the team members did a great job and the calm. cool, coordination from the young girl redheaded woman. Absolutely, made the difference. That is a high function team that producesa very good product and extremely efficiently.
I thanked them when I was there and I'd like to thank them online. They did an amazing job on my order. And we're doing amazing work on everyone's order. There were 3 people that were waiting for their online order to be finished near me and all of them commented about the young red headed woman saying that anytime that they've been in there, she is always been on task and always been customer friendly. That's very high praise that people are willing to share with strangers, when they're waiting for their food to be completed. Very positive comments about what they have observed.

“Just happened to stop here yesterday for a late lunch! So glad we did! My husband has had their pizza before I hadn't. The pizza was soo delicious! I ordered a Pineapple, Bacon & Hot Honey small pizza. It was one of the BEST pizza's I've ever eaten! “My roommate stopped and picked up pizzas for dinner. We live in Biddeford soo. Back in the late 70s I was a cook at a Pizza Hut in Portland.
