“I emailed the owner at 6:30 PM night before for an order and she called within a half hour of receiving it and was happy to fill the order. When I got there this morning, I explained that I Dunkin was out of the big boxes of coffee and they offered me to rent a carafe. They saved the day! I always receive stellar customer service when I go. 10/10”

“This is our favorite restaurant Downeast. Tonight when I asked if I could just have olive oil on my salad do to my allergies, the chef personally brought out some speciality olive oils for us to sample, and one that was amazingly light and refreshing. Not to mention our main courses and desserts were excellent too. Great food and great service.”

“We stopped in after a day at Acadia National Park on our way back to our Vrbo in Saco. The food was excellent, the menu has so many options. The staff were wonderful and the owner couldn’t believe we were there all the way from Niagara Falls, NY. Thank you sir for the greatness you have created. If ever in Ellsworth, put this on your list of stops!”

“Food is good, Father's day they had an awesome French toast that I still want to go back for. Sadly they are not really handicap accessible. There is one table for two at the left of the door that you can work with in a manual wheelchair if it is available. Other than that one table though, there is no other options that you don't get in the way or get bumped into, as the only other two top table is in the middle of the already tight isle. I sadly do not recommend this restaurant if you having any mobility issues.”

“This is a very cool spot. I love how small it is and the people you can meet. I have not tried the food just stopped in for a couple drinks. But I love the bar and plenty of lil things to look at on the walls. Will be returning in the future. Staff was friendly as well”

“On vacation from North Carolina, went twice. First time the food was amazing, best roast beef sandwich and fried chicken wrap I’ve ever had. Was given the wrong burgers, when I called back the response was so impressive, apologized for the mistake and immediately corrected. Second time I came and the food was consistently amazing. Went with a double burger instead of a smash burger this time, best double cheese burger I’ve ever had. The service, taste and portions are so worth the money. This place is a must go if you’re in the bar harbor/bangor area.”

“Excellent food and beverages! I order here almost on a weekly basis! They are my go to spot for just about anything I am craving. Today I ordered breakfast and had a friend scoop up the order for me while I was at work. That friend didn’t realize my drink wasn’t with my order upon delivering. So I messaged the cafe and the owner delivered my drink plus one more for the mishap! It wasn’t a big issue but he went above and beyond to help make this right. That kindness blew me away. I highly recommend Paul and his team! 🩵”

“A real surprise - the Fra Diavolo seafood was authentic, but didn't overwhelm the fish. LJ loved her Picatta, and it was a bargain to boot. Don't confuse it with the ho-hum of Jasper's (the old building.) This is the real deal.”

“Three of us stopped in for a late lunch at 3pm on A Wednesday. Margaritas, Coors and Diet Coke got us stared with chips and salsa. Lunch included tacos, a sampler trip and chicken chimichanga. The portions were huge and the food was good. The service was spot on too. Unbeknownst to us, we left a wallet at the restaurant. We called after hours (once we realized) and the staff worked with us to ge the wallet this evening. (It was needed for a flight tomorrow.). At pickup they were extremely gracious and would not accept a tip. I will go out of my way to eat there this summer!”

“This place has the best pizza I've ever had. And at $2 a slice for the pepperoni, it's one of the cheapest slices in Ellsworth. Their whoopie pies are also phenomenal, and those are also only $2!! Meanwhile the whoopie pies in the area are disgusting and usually $5+. Amazing store, staff are nice and fast, food is delicious. I have yet to try their other food but plan on updating my review once I have.”

“I've heard many bad things about the Ellsworth Dairy Queen. So much so that I was scared to try it. However, when my girlfriend brought it up I was immediately interested. I can say with confidence that that's one of the most healthy fast food burgers I've ever had. Unlike a McDonald's burger, which despite being great makes you feel like trash for enjoying it, this burger feels good to eat, as well as being quite tasty. Though the fries could be salter I am quite surprised with DQ and I will most certainly go back again.”

“We had a great experience at Pat’s Pizza in Ellsworth! Our waitress, Paige, was fantastic—friendly and attentive. The pizza was some of the best we’ve ever had (and we’ve traveled a lot). Perfect crust, just the right amount of sauce, and cooked perfectly. The County Fair calzone was excellent too. Cold beer, great prices—highly recommend!”

“Great food at a reasonable price and great service. We had mushroom appetizer which was a bit small for the money, but tasty. I had the clams which were great. My wife had the lobster bisque and haddock sandwich and bothe were awesome. Our waitress was spectacular. I would definitely go back.”
