“This is our favorite restaurant Downeast. Tonight when I asked if I could just have olive oil on my salad do to my allergies, the chef personally brought out some speciality olive oils for us to sample, and one that was amazingly light and refreshing. Not to mention our main courses and desserts were excellent too. Great food and great service.“

“On vacation from North Carolina, went twice. First time the food was amazing, best roast beef sandwich and fried chicken wrap I’ve ever had. Was given the wrong burgers, when I called back the response was so impressive, apologized for the mistake and immediately corrected. Second time I came and the food was consistently amazing. Went with a double burger instead of a smash burger this time, best double cheese burger I’ve ever had. The service, taste and portions are so worth the money. This place is a must go if you’re in the bar harbor/bangor area.“

“We stopped here for dinner on the way back from Acadia National Park. Despite the full parking lot, we were lucky that we were brought to our spot after about 2 minutes. Shortly after us there was a line up to the front door. The service was very friendly and very quick despite the busyness. Our food tasted very good and the value for money was also right. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely come back.“

“We stopped in after a day at Acadia National Park on our way back to our Vrbo in Saco. The food was excellent, the menu has so many options. The staff were wonderful and the owner couldn’t believe we were there all the way from Niagara Falls, NY. Thank you sir for the greatness you have created. “This is a very cool spot. I love how small it is and the people you can meet. I have not tried the food just stopped in for a couple drinks. But I love the bar and plenty of lil things to look at on the walls. Will be returning in the future. Staff was friendly as well“

“We came out to hear a local band play and have a cold beverage. We are not disappointed. The Black Moon Public House has tasty appetizers. And amazing desserts..Staff is super friendly! Great place in our little community! We will be back!“

“Great food at a reasonable price and great service. We had mushroom appetizer which was a bit small for the money, but tasty. I had the clams which were great. My wife had the lobster bisque and haddock sandwich and bothe were awesome. Our waitress was spectacular. I would definitely go back.“

“Food is good, Father's day they had an awesome French toast that I still want to go back for. Sadly they are not really handicap accessible. There is one table for two at the left of the door that you can work with in a manual wheelchair if it is available. Other than that one table though, there is no other options that you don't get in the way or get bumped into, as the only other two top table is in the middle of the already tight isle. I sadly do not recommend this restaurant if you having any mobility issues.“
