“My wife and two kids went here. I am gonna be very open. I was hangry and my wife the ever so great person she is found this place. She got her baked goods and our son things. I said I want something and got the sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. Was such a good thing to do. Better than the last place we went to in Lakewood, ohio. This had great taste and was not vegan. Killer breakfast sandwich.“

Charming and very competent. The food was great, too. We've never eaten there before, but have visited the Freeport restaurant many times. Never ever disappointed.“

“Flavorful, upbeat and great service. Had a reservation at the bar and was happy to see how quickly and meticulously the staff worked and how kindly the Chef treated his staff.
The cobb salad left a lasting impression on me. It even inspired me to recreate it at home a few days later. The bone marrow toast was like a French onion soup on bread but better! Suckling pig and foie gras were ok. Wish I could of stayed longer and tried more dishes but had to run to another reservation. I will definitely be back.“

“The Gelato Fiasco in the Old Port is always a fun stop when you want something sweet. There are a ton of flavors to choose from, the gelato is rich and smooth, and the staff is usually happy to let you try a few before deciding. It can get busy, but the line moves well and it’s definitely worth stopping in while you’re walking around downtown Portland.“

“My husband and I had lunch here before an appointment nearby. This restaurant had delicious food. My husband ordered the Down east Ruben, which was made with deep fried haddock with Cole slaw piled high on the bun with melted cheese. He said it was delicious! I opted for the classic BLT. Again, the sandwich was delicious. The lettuce and tomatoes were fresh and ample bacon was piled on top. I watched a young man bus the tables. He was extremely thorough cleaning the tables and seating. He even washed the items on the table (salt & pepper shakers, ketchup and hot sauce bottles). This young man then set the tables for new customers. Being a bit of a clean freak, I appreciated this young man's work. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant.“

“I stopped in Blazes today, had been craving a burger, and they didn’t disappoint! The cowboy burger was delicious, burger cooked just right, the onions and peppers perfectly caramelized, the sauce, bacon, and cheese, exactly the fat you want in a good burger. The bun was perfect and gave the perfect bread to burger/toppings ratio. And the side of onion rings was great, good portion, nice and crispy, not burnt and not soggy. Highly recommend!“

“Oh My God what a gem this place is! First off when you walk in it smells incredible. I had the Godmother grilled cheese. It was so good I couldn't hold a conversation......or maybe it was their margaritas!! Anyway the sandwich was unbelievable and the "secret sauce" on the side for dipping is something I didn't think I needed but ended up wanting to be buried in!“

“If you are looking for really good home style cooking, I recommend visiting Two Mums. Everything they serve is of local ingredients where possible and made right there. Everything I have had from here is delicious. From upside down shepherds pie, meat or veggie lasagna, hot ham and cheese sandwich, pulled pork, 5 cheese Mac and cheese, and home made Maine baked beans to cold sandwiches and salads. Oh, and don’t leave without getting a desert. Maple peanut butter cookies and chocolate brownies. YUM!!!“

Chef Ryan’s whole menu was top notch and the kitchen staff was so nice. Ty came up and offered to give my young kids a lobster lesson over FaceTime (was here for work). Lizzy was excellent at the bar for our group. Ashley was amazing and welcoming to our group. Couldn’t recommend more. But def order the menu items and not just the lobster!“

The food was so delicious that I actually found myself wishing I could get the recipes to make the dishes at home later. I ordered the chicken sandwich, and it was one of the most unique and flavorful sandwiches I’ve ever had. Every bite was incredible. My friend ordered the steak and cheese, and it must have been amazing because she ate every last bite of it without hesitation! The staff deserves special recognition as well. They were excellent, kind, and especially patient with my service dog in training, who is only five months old. Their understanding and welcoming attitude made the whole experience even better. “Went in today for the first time and food was amazing! Ordered a latte and the girl that took my order wasn’t the friendliest. I last minute decided I wanted a latte, and asked for it to be made with oatmilk she seemed annoyed and said it comes with oatmilk with an attitude. There is no info stating that the latte comes with oatmilk so not sure how I was supposed to know that. The guy who made my drink was extremely friendly and when my food order was ready the cooks were also super friendly! Great food and latte, will be back for sure!“
