“Thanks Mike and Andre (and the other unnamed employees) We were in Bar Harbor for 3 nights: we ate dinner here twice and one lunch. We tried the whole fried clams: fantastic! Lobster, fried haddock, lobster, lobster stew and local beers. Super value and super fresh. All the employees were smiling and helpful. I highly recommend this place!!!!“

“This was our last day in Bar Harbor and we sure picked the right restaurant to end our trip. Justin was our server and he was very friendly, explained the menu, specials and prices for lobster. The oysters were so fresh, caught just 3 miles away. Everything we had was on point. Highly recommend and we will be back!“

“This might be my favorite place to eat in the entire country. Sitting under the yellow umbrellas looking out on the ocean is heaven on earth. Food is way better than it needs to be. Lobster Roll was massive (and relatively inexpensive). Must visit place if in Bar Harbor.“

“Great location within the strip of shops. There is plenty of outdoor seating. We went around 3 pm, so after lunch rush. We waited for around 5 minutes (they had to clean a table). Our server was nice. He took our drink order, and it came out in just a few minutes. We ordered our food, and it came out within 10 minutes. The shrimp po'boy was good. The sauce had flavor but just a little much on the sandwich (it was hard to pick up and put down, got soggy). The chicken salad sandwich was pretty good and light. The lobster roll was a good portion size and didn't have too much mayo. The potato chips had light salt, which tasted good with the sandwiches. The lobster salad was basically a bunless lobster roll. The portion was large and came with a vinaigrette dressing. I ordered a blueberry frizz. It was very sour and didn't taste much like blueberry. Handicapped accessibility would be limited; no ramp (that I saw) to eat inside, you could eat outside 1st floor, which is under cover. The bathroom is tricky, getting in and out with 2 doors that open the same way.

Parking: Street parking that can be difficult to find a spot.

“We stayed at the rooftop for lunch. The good burger and chowder soup were great. Will definitely be back next time.

The restroom was super clean too.

“Service is good. The staff is very friendly I ordered the grilled lobster twin dinner with corn and coleslaw. It was good however it needed some seasoning.Five minutes away they have a sister location named Smokey’s BBQ lobster pound I ordered the same thing. Their food has more flavor it must be the black chef from Jamaica putting love into the food. “Very good food and beer. No wait to get in and food was served quickly after ordering. Clam chowder was extremely good and a meal itself, but I had a crab roll, too, which was also good. Would eat there again next time we're in the area.“

“Wonderful reception and service, fabulous food - all of it. The Lobster Sandwiches on fresh baked homemade bread, the Clam Chowder, and the Coleslaw were a great reintroduction to this place. I was last here probably almost 22 years ago, and we're both so happy that God made us turn into the parking lot on our trip further north. Thanks for a great dining experience.“

“I was hesitant about taking my young family here, but the loft did not disappoint! It's a new family favorite in Bar Harbor, and I have converted to loving seafood and the raw menu because of the loft! The ahi tuna nachos were a hit all around and a big recommendation to try! We can't wait to go back! The staff and food was amazing, and they even catered to my two children (1yr and 4yrs old).“

“The food was okay. The asparagus and potatoes had no seasoning. The steak was well marbled but sadly, didn’t have any flavor. The bartender was great, he was friendly. But the food was lack luster. I would go back and try something else but I wouldn’t do steak again.
