“I have lived in NYC, Boston and Portsmouth surrounded by some of the best cuisines of every form. I have to say this is by far the best indian cuisine I have ever had. Raj the owner personally served us and told us about his journey from humble beginnings to now one of the top 20 or so indian cuisines in the country. It doesn't take long to taste why. An unassuming restaurant on the outside to an amazing comfortable and authentic interior space to welcome anyone and everyone ready for the mos amazing dining experiences they will have. Even the drinks worth a sip.”

“We had the Tuna/yellow rice/black beans with garlic cream, pork, yellow rice, black beans with the bbq and a side of sweet fries. Everything was delicious, the pork broke apart with just a plastic spork. Rice was well cooked and seasoned. Sheet fries were a great sharing size and delicious, not too heavy and well salted. We look forward to coming back.”

“I have been eating there for years. I went the other night because I was craving scallops. I got my usual scallops and tried to substitute o-rings for fries. The girl told me it wasn't allowed. No substitutions. I was willing to pay for the upgrade. No go. I live in the area and there are a lot of other options which I'll be trying.”

“We love their beer and staff. The space is welcoming. there's a baby changing table in the first bathroom no highchairs but they also only have snacks. Live music on the weekends But we also hosted our one year olds first birthday party here! We had about 40 people. Galen and Danielle (I did no catch the other bartenders name) were amazing and so so welcoming!! Definitely reach out if you want to host an event here! They have a huge parking lot, beer, cider, wine, and na options. 10/10”

“Went on Sunday. Was a bit nervous because of the varied reviews however, we are so glad we tried it. The iced tea was fresh and strong, my pancakes were big and fluffy loaded with blueberries. The staff was attentive but they do seem a little frazzled. The restaurant is clean and spacious and again the food was great.”

We walked around the corner, saw your place and said why not? Your staff was amazing and welcoming! The ribs and pulled pork, top notch! We enjoyed the staff, food and environment! Start mixing your salads again and you'll get another star from me. If I wanted the components for a salad i would go to Hannaford. Charge less than $17 for a salad or mix the thing.”

“Close your eyes and imagine a Maine Lobster Shack. Well, this is the place. There is very little parking plus some on street parking. You walk down a lot of steps (this place is NOT HC accessible) then you are at the lobster shack like you would imaging in Maine. There are two buildings painted in red that can be kind of confusing. Go to the shack on the left, pick your lobster from the tank, then pay at the other shed. Then choose a picnic bench by the water. A nice young lady will then bring you your delicious lobster and enjoy! It really is so Maine. I can't wait to go back!”

“Wonderful old-school, Old-Maine place - "Lobsters in the Rough" like we used to have. Ambience - totally relaxed, right on the water. Food - Menu has good variety, the lobsters come in daily, cooked just right. The view across the river to Portsmouth is like no other, plus the river traffic and bridge openings, lobster boats, big ships, tugs, you name it. River breezes tend to keep things a little cooler. I'll be back.”

“Until I moved here never heard of Aroma Joe's learned they are plentiful in Maine and their products are great but its their staff that makes it. Those folks are amazing and if you have never experienced the making of specialty drinks it is an art that requires patience and attention to detail in a fairly speedy manner and the young lady that waited on me is the perfect person for the job. She was EXCEPTIONAL. I will update this post to reflect her name she deserves a million 5 star reviews.”

“Came from out of state with the wife and no kids for a long weekend. We specifically were looking for a dive bar. Navy yard was recommend by our hotel check in girl. She said “I don’t know why anyone would go there”. So we went. And we were disappointed. It wasn’t a dive bar at all. The pool tables were in good shape the staff was super nice and the patrons were very friendly. I will come here again next year when we visit again.”

“Absolutely wonderful. My only regret was not stopping in sooner on our 5 day trip as we are from away. Little to no Sugar Free options where we live so this place blew my mind. It eill be my new drink stop whenever I am in Maine.The Drinks were delicious and the staff was so friendly we even made a special trip out the morning we left just get drinks and say "Bye for now." Can't wait to return.”

“Henry’s is such a great spot. The coffee is excellent smooth, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The people here are super friendly and make you feel welcome right away, which really adds to the experience.

As someone who often works from coffee shops, I really appreciate a comfortable environment, good temperature control, and strong Wi-Fi and Henry’s checks most of those boxes.

The only reason I didn’t rate it a five is because there were quite a few fruit flies around the seating area. It’s not a deal-breaker, but it does make it a little hard to focus when you’re trying to get work done. I totally get that these things can be tough to manage, but hopefully it’s something that can be addressed soon.

Otherwise, this place is awesome great drinks, great people, and a really inviting vibe.”

“Super grinders really get on down to Amsto's. They have a deal going right now . Original Italian Grinder ,a bag of chips and large soda for I believe $8.99 I really love their Italian. But I recently tried their Sausage Parmesan. with green peppers and onions, delicious. There sauce and those large sausage links so trully yummy. We always stop when we're traveling. Really a comfort food.”
