“Came from out of state with the wife and no kids for a long weekend. We specifically were looking for a dive bar. Navy yard was recommend by our hotel check in girl. She said “I don’t know why anyone would go there”. So we went. And we were disappointed. It wasn’t a dive bar at all. The pool tables were in good shape the staff was super nice and the patrons were very friendly. I will come here again next year when we visit again.“

We have been so dissatisfied in the past with other local places & stumbled across The Brick this afternoon. We decided to give it a try & we’re so glad that we did! “I couldnt believe the outside of D Street (Daniel Street Tavern) today. It has an outside seating area (very clean and welcoming) as well as a NEW Food Menu. I couldnt believe how tasty the 1/4 pound lobster roll was (came with Coleslaw, pickle and small bag of chips) for $20. The alcohol free Bloody Mary was spicy/tasty and a good addition to the role. They have many deals on alcohol but also lots of non alcohol options (pop, juices and non alcoholic beer). Place is very clean and server VIVI is on her Game!!! So much more then a Dive Bar!!!!“

The vegan caesar, avocado tacos, cool beans burger, just to name a few favorites. Not to mentions waffle fries, tater tots, fried pickles, and so many other great sides. Local beers, great cocktails, and lots of fun drinks. My bf (meat eater) and I go here all the time and we always leave happier than when we came in.“

“I always love coming to the Pink Bamboo. The servers are so kind, the owner is amazing, and the quality of ingredients is perfect. I always leave here so incredibly full and happy. “Visited Fury’s for a private event. The food was put together wonderfully and deliciously and everyone was very attentive to our needs. My cocktail as perfect. I remember these old mills (Clarostat) when I was a young girl and I was pleasantly surprised to see how they’ve been transformed! There’s an outdoor deck with picnic tables on the water. If I ever cruise back thru Dover again I would definitely make it a stop to eat and enjoy a cocktail.“

Drinks were summery and unique 🧉🍹 The lobster bisque was the best I’ve ever had!!!! And there was a great amount of lobster meat in it. I tried a bite of my boyfriend’s clam chowder as well which was also delicious but the bisque was 🤤😍 We will definitely be back!!!! Our waitress was very attentive and so sweet!!!
